Partial Full Moon Eclipse at 10 degrees of Cancer on Dec. 31, 2009.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I did my traditional Italian Christmas and my exhaustion is solely due to making the glorious Italian cookie “The Cuccidati”.  It is labor intensive and I wanted to make a double recipe so as to have enough to give to my friends and children.  I remember my mother making them but I don’t remember her ever complaining about her back or how labor intensive they were.   The Cuddidati  is a “filled cookie”.   The filling consists of black mission figs, raisins, walnuts, almonds and, last but not least, a copious amount of brandy.  They are really delicious.  I have made them before but not such a large amount.  Whew!  They have suddenly moved from traditional Italian cookies to having the value of solid gold tokens. 

This Christmas came so fast I felt like I was doing things at top speed.  The presents were all wrapped, well, not exactly; I didn’t have time for the usual paper and bows it so it was Christmas bags and tissue paper.  I also skipped from the amount of greeting cards that I wanted to send to creating a digital card for my Facebook account and my email.  After writing this I am going to rest for a week.  I had my family over for a great dinner.  Everybody ate too much and wanted to sleep.  My precious granddaughters loved their presents.  I looked at them and noticed how fast they are growing up.  That ultimately means that I am getting older too!

This Full Moon is a partial Eclipse at 10 degrees of Cancer.  If you have any natal planets in early degrees of Cardinal signs, this will be important.  We  have enough transiting planets to enliven our daily life even without natal planets.  Think about it….Saturn is at 4 degrees of Libra, Pluto is at 3 degrees of Capricorn, Venus is at 7 degrees of Capricorn and the Eclipse is at 10 degrees of Cancer.   This is a Cardinal T-square.  If you have any natal planets to add to this consortium in the sign of Aries, there is a major shift coming in for you in the next 6 months.  Actually, they don’t even have to be on the angles but that does make a big difference.     This Full Moon Eclipse comes before the New Moon Eclipse of Jan. 15, 2010 and for all intents and purposes it creates the challenge of the New Moon Eclipse.  They are very connected.  Mercury goes retrograde on Dec. 31, 2009 at 21 degrees of Capricorn and the New Moon Eclipse is in Capricorn at 24 degrees.  Very connected, I would say.  Depending on the houses they are in will tell you the area of your life that will be in your face for the next 6 months.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues and is in opposition to transiting Venus.  (I am only using a 4 degree orb.)  If you look back a couple of days to the 28th, you would have a Venus conjunct Pluto in your 10 th  house of career.  Notice the ultra magnetic appeal you emanate.  If you go forward to January 10th, you will find that transiting Venus conjuncts the transiting Sun in the 10 th house of career and you become a star at work.  This Cardinal T-square creates a lot of movement for you and decisions are made.  If you have planets in early Aries, this becomes a Grand Cardinal Cross and creates a big shift in energy.  The Full Moon Eclipse is in opposition to the Sun and Venus revealing that it can be about partnerships and/or love affairs.   Mars is now retrograde and the assertiveness of Mars turns inward to re-examine decisions of the last 3 months. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 3rd house of communication and community revealing major shifts of energy that deal with everyday work and health.  If you have any planets in early degrees of Aries, this becomes a major shift in legal matters, everyday work and health issues.  This FME is directly connected to the NME that arrives next month on Jan. 15, 2010.  Whatever action you take now will bring in the challenge of the next NME.  The FME is very powerful and since it takes place in Cancer, a Cardinal water sign, it will definitely produce some strong emotions and/or changes in the 3rd house.  There are 4 planets in the 9th house exacerbating any 9th house issues.  Saturn in Libra in your 6th house completes the Cardinal T-square.  The 12th house receives the energy of this Cardinal T-square unless you have planets in early degrees, then the whole chart shifts. This FME also opposes Venus, another indicator of 6th house activity and the ruler of your Sun.  You may be spending some moola.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 2nd house of personal values and money.  The Cardinal Cross sets up between the FME in the 2nd house, Venus and the Sun in Capricorn in the 8th house of partnership finances or other people’s money and,  last but not least, Saturn in the 5th house of creativity, children and love affairs.  Money, especially other people’s money, is going to be very important during this Full Moon Eclipse and with the Moon in your 2nd house of personal money, this is where the changes take place.  It’s possible that you will be spending a bit of money.  Issues that deal with your goals are the target for your Cardinal T-square.  Let us not forget that this FME leads directly into the challenge of the New Moon Eclipse of January 15, 2010.  Keep your eye on the goal.

 CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 1st house of personality and appearance.  The FME is very powerful in the 1st house as it is on an angle and affects the other angles of the chart.  The FME is in opposition to Venus in the 7th house of partnership and in square to Saturn in the 4th.  This is a Cardinal T-square and delivers powerful energy to the 10th house of career and standing in the community.  The Moon in Cancer echoes changes in personality and possible changes in appearance.  I do think whatever comes can be a very emotional situation.  Keep in mind that Mercury is going retrograde December 31, 2009 in Capricorn.  This is the end of one more year and the beginning of a brand new year with hopes and dreams.  Have your share of good times as this coming year brings in a lot of action for Cardinal Suns.   

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity, institutions, the subconscious and preparation.  The impact of this FME is in this house but it can also affect the Saturn in your 3rd house of communications and community and Venus in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  This is a Cardinal T-square and sends tons of energy to the empty 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, education and foreign affairs.  This will have a major impact on the NME on January 15, 2010.  These are all mental houses and whatever comes in could possibly be information of some kind.  You may feel it necessary to communicate to someone in the past or in a far away land.  Sounds like an adventure to me.  Mars retrograde in your 1st house repeats the last three months.   At the end of this cycle you will have the opportunity to repeal or repeat your decisions.  I like the idea that you are going on a mental adventure.  Sounds so good.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 11th house of goals and has a major emotional change in goals for you.  The FME also opposes Venus and the Sun in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs and is in square to Saturn in the second house of values.  This is a reaction to some situation.  If you have planets in early Aries, this will be an all out shift in your goals.  Mercury goes retrograde in Capricorn at 21 degrees and, interestingly enough, the NME on January 15, 2010 is at 25 degrees Capricorn.  There is a direct correlation between what happens on this FME and the Mercury Retrograde that has a direct impact on the challenges of the NME.  Saturn is not finished with you yet, Virgo.  On January 13, 2010 Saturn will retrograde back to 27 degrees of Virgo and complete it’s cycle thru your 1st house.  Evidently, Saturn has some last minute changes to your personality and appearance. You are on a new journey with a new you and a life that you choose.  

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 10th house of career making the 10th house a place for change.  The FME in the 10th house opposes Venus, the ruler of your sign, in the 4th house conjunct the Sun.  Meanwhile, Saturn is starting to transit your 1st house at 4 degrees starting a new 30 year cycle.  This FME makes a Cardinal T-square with a mega- amount of energy going to the 7th house of partnership.     If you have any planets in early degrees of Aries you are in line for a shift in your life.  Another interesting point is that Mercury will be going retrograde at 21 degrees of Capricorn December 31, 2009 and the NME of January 15, 2010 is 24 degrees of Capricorn.  My experience says that your 4th house of home and core issues will be your focus for the next 6 months.  You will be making headway in what you want in your life and what you don’t want.  You are in the beginning of a new cycle that will culminate in 30 years.  You get to make all the decisions now. 

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, higher education and foreign affairs.  This is a mental house and you may be thinking of the changes you are making at this time.  This FME forms a Cardinal T-square with Saturn at 4 degrees of Libra in your 12th house and square to the Sun and Venus in your 3rd house of communications and community. The empty house that all the energy shifts to is Aries, your 6th house of everyday work and health.  This can be information that you receive and experience.  This can be emotional for you as the Moon is in sensitive Cancer.  Mercury goes retrograde December 31, 2009 at 21 degrees of Capricorn and some situations may not pass the test to continue.  You should be experiencing these at any time.  The FME is connected to the challenge of the NME of January 15th, 2010 at 24 degrees of Capricorn.  Interesting thought;  this is very close to the Mercury retrograde.  Hmmmm?   The two may be connected.

 SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This FME takes place in your 8th house of partnership finances and other people’s money.  The changes that take place here are with the money you get from others.  Saturn in Libra at 4 degrees  transiting your 11th house of goals in square to the FME.The Sun and Venus in Capricorn  your 2nd house of personal values and personal money forms a Cardinal T-square and directs a lot of energy to the empty Aries 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This can be a major concern at this time.  If you have any planets in early degrees of Aries, this will be a major shift for you.  Mercury is going retrograde at 21 degrees of Capricorn December 31, 2009 and, interestingly enough, the NME on January 15, 2010 takes place at 24 degrees of Capricorn in your 2nd house of personal finances and values.  Everything tells me that the next 6 months will be about what you want and what you are willing to do for it.  This is a major shift with or without the early Aries planets.  Enjoy the adventure…

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This FME takes place in your 7th house of partnerships and general public.  The change takes place in dealing with the public and/or partnerships (business or personal).  The FME is in opposition to Venus and the Sun in your 1st house and square to Saturn in Libra in your 10th house of career.  These three placements are called a Cardinal T-square and send energy to the empty Aries 4th house.  If you have any planets in early Aries, this will turn into a Cardinal Cross and a major shift  will move you forward.  Mercury goes retrograde December 31,2009 at 21 degrees of Capricorn in your 1st house and I noticed that the NME of January 15, 2010 is at 24 degrees of Capricorn.  There may be some obstacles to your moving forward due to issues that deal with the home.  The FME is directly involved with the coming challenges of the NME and Mercury seems to play a significant part.  I would say that you are looking at what will be important in the next 6 months.  There seems to be a major shift coming in for you and you are ready.

 AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This FME takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  Issues that deal with your work and health are making a large statement. This is not a simple FME as it opposes the Sun and Venus in your 12th house of institutions and squares Saturn in your 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, higher education and foreign affairs.  This constitutes a Cardinal T-square and sends most of the energy to the empty Aries 3rd house.  If you have any planets in early Aries, it promotes a major shift coming.  Even without the Aries planet it will be important.  One thought is that the empty Aries house is usually a mental house that deals with communication and community.  At the same time, Mercury is going retrograde in Capricorn at 21 degrees in your 12th house of the past, subconscious, preparation and institutions.   The NME on January 15, 2010 is directly connected to these two events.  You will be very much involved in the coming challenges.   

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The FME tells me that this is an area to watch for changes. All the planets involved seem to point to some kind of value judgment.  There is a Cardinal T-square taking place with this FME.  Saturn in Libra in your 8th house of other people’s money, sex, death and taxes squares the Moon in your 5th house while the FME opposes Venus and the Sun in the 11th house of goals. Things seem to get stuck.  If you have any planets in early Aries, you are looking at a Cardinal Cross.  Even without the Aries planet, the energy will be focused in this Aries 2nd house of personal finances and values.  This brings in the challenges for the NME on January 15, 2010.  If that isn’t enough Mercury will be going retrograde December 31, 2009  at 21 degrees of Capricorn.  The NME in January will be at 24 degrees of Capricorn.   This seems to be too many coincidences.  I think they are all connected and that whatever this trio of aspects brings in will be the focus for the next 6 months.

Full Moon Forecast for Dec. 2nd, 2009 at 10 degrees of Gemini

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am rewriting this from Chicago so that I don’t miss my deadline.  I thought I wrote this already but when I went to finish it, I could tell that little green men came in the night and changed my article to lots of disconnected thoughts. They even messed up the dates and aspects.  So, here I am, Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, rewriting my Full Moon forecast.

As we slip into December, you can tell things are starting to rev up for the holidays.  This Full Moon is at 10 degrees of Gemini, the sign of the Twins.  You will find yourself multi-tasking all over the place.  (Take a minute to realize that some of us are better at this than others).  Venus enters Sagittarius on the 2nd of December changing your vibration from emotion to ” LET’S PARTAY!”  Mars has taken up residence in the sign of Leo at 17 degrees as of December 1st and slows down considerably as it prepares to go retrograde on December 20th.  If you can find the house in your chart that is ruled by Leo, you will find the area of your life in which  all of this is taking place.  “RETROGRADE” means to go back, even though in reality, the planet only looks like it’s going backward.  The truth of the matter is that it is changing in depth as it revolves around the Sun. There have been certain decisions you have made since Oct. 17th that you will be reviewing and accepting or rejecting during this retrograde period.  Mars stays retrograde until March 10th, 2010.  Mars always acts like a mini-Saturn during this transit and redefines the house and sign that it occupies.  So expect some changes, maybe little ones or even big ones; it really depends on the placement in the chart and the personal planets that are in aspect.

Uranus goes direct on December 2nd paving the way for the unexpected to materialize.

Mercury is going retrograde on December 26th, 2009 until January 15th, 2010.  The Mercury cycle starts on December 6th as it enters Capricorn.  When it reaches 5 degrees of Capricorn, it would be wise to journal the next couple of weeks until it goes retrograde on December 26th at 21 degrees of Capricorn.  Mercury represents communication and when it transits Capricorn, it tends to define things such as plans.  The type of plans that will be redefined is defined by the location of the Constellation of Capricorn in the chart.  Since it doesn’t change signs, there may be a delay or change in your schedule. You will know on December 26th.

There will be many social events and a general need for all of us to extend a helping hand to everyone who needs assistance.  Look around you. Where can you make a difference in just one person’s life?  Little things mean so much when people don’t have much to be happy about.  This is a time to share love without boundaries, to smile with meaning and to have hope in your heart for all humanity.

ARIES-(MARCH 21-APRIL 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 3rd house of communications and community.  You are trying to do 100 things at once and succeeding quite well.  You love this vibration.  This FM brings with it some changes, especially, those that have to do with short distance travel,  brothers and sisters, communications and, last but not least, community.  Earth signs, such as Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus would call this a chaotic period.  Mars is slowing down and preparing to go retrograde in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This is the house that is changing under the pressure of the Mars transit.  Even though this is an uncomfortable time, it will benefit you in the long run.  Remember  Saturn is transiting your 7th house of partnerships, business or personal, and together these changes can have a great impact on your life.  Partnership issues are definitely a source of contention at this time.  Mercury retrograde will be in your 10th house of career.  This is the area to look for delays. There will be a powerful Mercury conjunct Pluto on December 7th that is very meaningful for you.  Uranus will be going direct in your 12th house opening the doors to the past and unexpected situations.

TAURUS-(APRIL 20-MAY 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 2nd house of values (money and love).  These are changes that you don’t want to deal with but deal you must.  Your personal money is on the line and, possibly, a loving relationship.  The last two weeks have been opening the path for you. Mars in your 4th house of home and core issues is being redefined by the Mars transit and is slowing down to go retrograde on December 20th, 2009.  You will notice that your moods will not change as fast and situations linger on more than you are used to.  Mercury will conjunct Pluto on December 7, 2009 and announce some important and powerful communications.  This will start the Mercury retrograde cycle for you.  It takes place in your 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, higher education and foreign affairs.  Affairs of this house will be delayed.  Saturn is now transiting your 6th house of everyday work and health.  This area will slowly be transformed into a better fit for you in the coming years.

GEMINI-(MAY 21-JUNE 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and appearance.  These are changes in how you appear and possibly in your personality.  This is the area that you should expect changes.  Maybe there is a change in attitude towards partnership or some dealing with the public.  Mars is transiting your 3rd house of communication and community acting like a mini-Saturn.  It will be slowing down enough to make you want to scream but take the time to think about what you are trying to accomplish in such a hurry. Your charisma is taking you forward to new horizons and new vistas.  Mercury conjuncts Pluto on December 7th in your 8th house of partnership resources and produces strong power issues, determination and ambition.  This is also the house where Mercury goes retrograde so don’t expect things to move too quickly after the 26th of December.  There are opportunities all around. Look forward not back.  I know you will love all the chatter and running around.

CANCER (JUNE 21-JULY 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past and preparation and the unconscious.  You may have found that this is a time of revelation to some of the issues you have been dealing with.  Worries and thoughts of “what if’s” seem to keep you in a constant state of awareness.  Your level of anxiety is high but you love it. Mercury conjuncts Pluto on December 7 in your 7th house of partnerships starting your Mercury cycle off with a bang.  This is an important day.  Mercury slows down by the 26th of December and delays some issues that deal with partnerships and general public.  Mars is transiting the 2nd house of personal money and love and redefining that area in your life.  Mars also slows down to a crawl around the 20th of December forcing you to deal with some new uncomfortable situations.  This takes place in your 4th house of home.  These delays are difficult as they happen in angular houses in your chart. (1st, 4th, and 7th houses)

LEO (JULY 23-AUGUST 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 11th house of hopes, wishes and goals.  This is where the changes take place.  You may find that some situations require that you revise your goals to meet current demands that deal with children, creativity and love affairs of the 5th house.  There is a lot of activity in the 7th house pushing you in one direction and then another.  You may feel like the ultimate rubber band.  Mars in your 1st house of personality is driving you to promote your current direction.  It will slow down around the 20th and allow you to revisit the last two months and move forward.  Mercury will conjunct Pluto on December 7th in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  This is a strong communication and very important as it paves the way for you.  This is the beginning of the Mercury cycle for you.  This  slows down and goes retrograde on the 26th of December.   Saturn in Libra, your 3rd house, gives you a preview of what is to come in September of 2010.

VIRGO (AUGUST 23-SEPTEMBER 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 10th house of career and standing in the community.  There are changes in your career or how people see you.  You may have acquired a new skill or new label. This change benefits your everyday work and health house.  Mars transiting your 12th house of the past and unconscious is acting like a mini-Saturn asking you to look closer at the past and decide what baggage is expendable and what is relevant.  This can take awhile so don’t rush.  You will be able to let go of current emotional baggage that keeps you from the Promised Land.   Saturn is not finished with you yet, as it re-enters Virgo on April 8th, 2010 to conclude its final transit on July 23rd, 2009.  This period gives you an indication of where you are going and a preview of Saturn in Libra.  Take advantage of this look into the future.  Mercury will conjunct Pluto in your 5th house starting with a powerful conversation on December 7th followed by the Mercury retrograde cycle.  Expect delays in this area and, especially, watch December 26th for delays to show up.

LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23-OCTOBER 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9th house of legal matters, education, philosophy and foreign affairs.  These changes take place in the 9th house which is a mental house as well as the 3rd house.  This may be a change in attitude as well as any of the above mentioned areas. Mars is transiting your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  This Mars cycle will re-define this area as it takes on the ambition of a mini- Saturn.  This will take until March 10, 2010.  Watch December 20th 2009 for you to internalize some of your decisions up to this point.  Mercury will conjunct Pluto in your 4th house of home and core issues beginning a Mercury cycle that starts off with some powerful communication. This Mercury will go retrograde on the 26th of December and promises some delays when it comes to situations on the home front.  Saturn now transiting your 1st house gives you an indication of what is to come in July and September of 2010.  As Saturn returns to Virgo on April 8th 2010, it will revisit the issues of October and November of 2009.

SCORPIO (OCTOBER 24-NOVEMBER 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 8th house of partnership resources, other people’s money, sex, death and taxes.   This sounds like it could be ominous but, in reality, it can be as simple as incoming money changes.  This is not necessarily good or bad, just a change.  Mercury is going to conjunct Pluto on December 7th beginning a new Mercury cycle in your 3rd house of communications and community.  This can also involve brothers and sisters and short distance travel.  More than likely, it will all be about communications.  Mercury goes retrograde on December 26th, 2009 and promises delays in 3rd house matters.  Mars in all its glory is transiting your 10th house of career redefining this area of your chart.  Mars will go retrograde on December 20th promising a retrospect of the last 2 months.  This is going to act like a mini-Saturn so expect some review and redefining.  Saturn is in Libra giving you an indication of what is coming in July and September of 2010.  It will return to Virgo to complete some unresolved issues on April 10th, 2010.

SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 22-DECEMBER 21)

This Full Moon takes place in your 7th house of partnership (business or personal).  There will be changes in partnerships but, in case you were wondering, they are necessary.   Venus is entering your 1st house and brings much fun and party time.  Mercury is conjunct Pluto on December 7th in your 2nd house of personal finances and love.  This is a powerful communication about money that is important and starts off the Mercury cycle.  Mercury will go retrograde on December 26th so expect some delays.  Mars is transiting the 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, higher education and foreign affairs.  As the transit continues, it is being re-defined by Mars acting like a mini-Saturn.  Mars will go retrograde on December 20th promising certain changes in the 9th house. Saturn has entered your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes giving you an indication of what is to come in July and August of 2010.

CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22-JANUARY 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  There may be changes in either, or both, of these areas of your life.  Look for new opportunities and changes in existing plans at work.  Mercury conjuncts Pluto in your 1st house of personality and appearance and you can have an important communication that shines the light on you and your personality.  You will be seen as someone to be reckoned with. This starts off the Mercury cycle for you.  On December 26th Mercury will go retrograde and you may be some unwanted delays that you encounter.  Mars is transiting your 8th house of partnership resources, other people’s money, sex, death and taxes and continues to promise a redefinition of this area of your life.  Mars will go retrograde on December 20th so expect delays here also.  Saturn has entered Libra, your 10th house of career and standing in the community.  You may have been feeling as if career matters need to be revised and, actually, that is what will be going on in the next 2 ½ years. The period between now and April 8th will give you an indication of what is coming in July and August of 2010. Meanwhile, the period from April 10th 2010 to July 2010 is a final resolution to Saturn in Virgo.

AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20-FEBRUARY 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  Expect changes in this area, especially, in the next week.  This will be the culmination of some challenges you received two weeks ago.  Mercury will conjunct Pluto in your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past and the unconscious promising a powerful realization or communication.  Mercury will be going retrograde on December 26th, so expect some upsets and delays.  Mars is transiting the 7th house of partnerships (business or personal) and promises a re-defining of this area of the life. This redefinition is going to help you, not hinder you.  This is important as it will enable you to get the most out of the Saturn in Libra transit.  Saturn transiting Libra at this time gives you the indication of what will transpire in July and August of 2010.  Venus just entering Sagittarius is promising some fun party times.

PISCES (FEBRUARY 20-MARCH 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues promising changes in these areas.  You can change your mind about anything, even your attitude.  Uranus is still in your 1st house and going direct putting unexpected adventure in your path.  Communications seem to light up the career sector of your life. As Mercury continues on its path, it conjuncts Pluto in your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  This is a powerful and hopefully positive communication but Mercury will be going retrograde on December 26th, so expect delays.  Mars is transiting your 6th house of everyday work and health promising redefining by a Mars-like mini-Saturn.  This is important as it will help you focus in on the Saturn in Libra transit. Mars also goes retrograde on December 20th allowing you to revise and review the last 2 months of events.  Saturn in Libra at this time will give you an indication of what is coming in July and August of 2010.

Full Moon at 21 degrees of Cancer

Happy New Year to all 

The New Year has arrived and if January is a sample of what’s coming, hold on to your pants.  Mercury will be turning retrograde on 1/11/2009 and will not go direct until 2/2/2009. In the process it re-enters Capricorn.  Whenever Mercury changes signs during a retrograde, it brings with it a change in mind.  Also on 1/11/2009 there is the Full Moon at 21 degrees of Cancer.  We are heading into a New Moon Eclipse on 1/26/2009.  You are more than likely starting to see the tension building in some area of your life.  And now for the piece de resistance…There will be a Saturn Uranus opposition in the works from 1/30/2009 to 2/11/2009 and exact on 2/5/2009.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Try to keep this in mind as these period progresses.  Whatever leaves needs to go; whatever new (even if uncomfortable) enters, hang on for the ride.  This is happening with Uranus at 20 degrees direct in Pisces and Saturn at 20 degrees retrograde in Virgo.  Where they land in your chart will be where the action is. 

Venus will be entering Pisces and romance will fill the air.  Mars is currently in Capricorn pushing for dominance in whatever house it is in. Jupiter makes its leap into Aquarius on 1/5/2009 changing the vibration to mental pursuits rather than activating plans.  Pluto is now firmly entrenched in Capricorn challenging us to re-vamp any situation that has crumpled under scrutiny and building new structures from the bottom up. I’d say we are in for quite a month.  If you have noticed, Mars conjunct Pluto produced a lot of anger, violence and war.  Let’s hope the Mercury retrograde slows it up.  As we move forward to 1/26/2009, there is a New Moon Eclipse at 6 degrees of Aquarius.  New Moon Eclipses often come in with a challenge.  This will be no different except there will be a transiting Jupiter conjunct this Eclipse.  Jupiter so close to the Eclipse point takes a very active role in the delineation.  Imagine that wherever the Eclipse falls in your chart what kind of effect would there be if you threw Jupiter in the mix? Look to the house that is ruled by Jupiter, which is Sagittarius. That house will be involved in this Eclipse as well as the idea of expansion.  We will have more on this in the next installment.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues bringing some changes into your home.  There have been a lot of upsets in career objectives with Mars in your 10th house of career. Jupiter will be entering Aquarius, your 11th house of goals, opening new vistas.   Venus in Pisces is in your 12th house of the past and close to a conjunction to Uranus bringing in the unexpected on the 24th but disappointment on the 25th.  Uranus and Saturn will be in opposition from the Jan. 30th to Feb. 11th, 2009 and exact on Feb. 5th, 2009.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 3rd house of communications and community.  You will notice that there are changes in your community, where you work and/or live.   These changes have an unexpected and exciting opportunity attached to the Full Moon.  This promises your goals will be at the top of your priority list. The volatility of this Mars Pluto conjunction has the ability to produce some anxiety over matters at a distance.  The Full Moon taking place in your 3rd house may also involve family members.  Jupiter takes a position in your 10th house of career promising expansion and more opportunity.  Transiting Saturn in your 5th house of children, creativity, and love affairs is going to oppose Uranus in your 11th house of goals on 2/5/2009.  This aspect is never easy but what it accomplishes for you is what you desperately need.  Let go of old patterns that revolve around matters of the 5th and restructure your needs.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 2nd house of love and money.   You were born with the ability to do more than one thing at a time and your current financial situations will require all of your dexterity.  The great thing about this Full Moon is the trine to Uranus from the 2nd house to the 10th, indicating financial rewards or recognition from career. The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 8th house of other people’s money or partnership funds bringing finances to the forefront of your life. Jupiter has entered Aquarius releasing its bounty in your 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education.   Any and all of these matters will receive Jupiter’s beneficial rays.   Saturn and Uranus are in opposition from Jan. 30th, 2009 until Feb. 11th, 2009 and exact on Feb. 5th.   New beginnings are around the corner.  

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This Full Moon falls in your 1st house of personality and how the world sees you.  There were some upsets with partnerships this last month.  The Pluto Mars conjunction has taken place in your 7th house of partnerships placing a spotlight here for all to see.  Partnership issues are about to be transformed by Pluto.   This will take some time.  It will not happen overnight so find your peace in this area.   Jupiter has entered Aquarius, your 8th house of partnership finances.  Partnership funds and other people’s money are on the increase.  This Full Moon trines Uranus in the 9th house of higher education, philosophy, legal matters and foreign affairs causing you to unexpectedly take action on a sudden opportunity.  Saturn opposition Uranus is in effect from Jan.30th, 2009 to Feb. 11th, 2009 and exact on Feb. 5th, 2009.  Remember: this is out with the old and in with the new.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past, subconscious and institutions.  You are concerned with reclaiming your spirit.  Most of the actions you are involved with are taking place behind-the-scenes.  This will benefit you financially. Jupiter has entered your 7th house and is expanding your horizons with partnerships either, business or personal.  The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 6th house of everyday work and/or health.  Some of these issues will be around for awhile. Saturn opposition Uranus takes place in your 2nd and 8th houses.  These houses have a lot to do with values, money and, possibly, death of a situation.   Keep your eyes open and your ears perked up as a Full Moon Eclipse is on the horizon for you in Feb.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 11th house of hopes, wishes and goals.  You will find that this Full Moon trines Uranus in the 7th house promising partnership opportunity.  It all happens unexpectedly. Pretty exciting, Virgo.  Saturn transiting your 1st house and in opposition to your Uranus in the 7th does not really spell harmony for partnerships.   You may be looking for someone to comfort you in your current situation or you could resolve to work on partnership issues.  Jupiter enters your 6th house of everyday work and health promising expansion in both areas.  The Mars Pluto conjunction took place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This area will be a hot potato for some time. 

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 10th house of career and standing in the community.  Changes taking place in your career are putting a lot of impact on your home and living arrangements.  These changes may be unexpected but definitely in a positive way.   You may feel a bit insecure about situations that take place at home. Pluto has just entered your 4th house promising that things will be disruptive on the home front.  There will be a transformation here and it will go on for awhile.  Jupiter has just entered the 5th house of children, love affairs and creativity allowing this area of your life to blossom.  The Saturn transit takes place in your 12th of the past in opposition to Uranus in your 6th house of every day work and health.  Look for the release of old patterns and habits and the taking on of new and improved healthy alternatives.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.  Changes in this area offer new opportunities that take place unexpectedly either on a vacation or in dealing with children.  Jupiter has just entered Aquarius, your 4th house of home and core issues.  This promises to expand your home or moving to larger quarters.   You will also be more open to releasing the restrictions you may have put on some of your core issues and broadening them to include more opportunity for growth.   The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 3rd house of communications and community making communications an important area in your life.  Saturn transiting your 11th house of goals in opposition to Uranus transiting your 5th house of children, love affairs and creativity will be exact on Feb. 5th, 2009.  New goals in relation to 5th house matters need to be written for the future.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Full Moon takes place in your 8th house of sex, death, taxes and partnership funds.  This may change the way you pay your bills or how your bills are paid.  This does provide a benefit in terms of your home and core issues where unexpected opportunities will develop.  Jupiter has entered Aquarius, your 3rd house of communications and community promising more expansion in these areas.  If you are looking to increase your communications, this is the perfect year to accomplish this.  The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 2nd house of values and love.  This promises to be very important in the coming month as your values will be disrupted and affect your finances.  Saturn transiting the 10th house of career and in opposition to transiting Uranus in the 4th house indicates a major set back in career issues.  Look deeper into the issues and you will find that stagnation and boredom are not something you can tolerate.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 7th house of partnerships promoting changes in dealing with business or personal partnerships.  This does offer opportunities in communications and/or with your community that are quite unexpected but, also, exciting.  Partnerships issues change but in the best way.  Jupiter has entered Aquarius, your 2nd house of finances, suggesting that this year there will be expansion in your values that always translates into more money and more love. The Mars Pluto conjunction took place in your 1st house of personality and how others see you.  I imagine that this last two weeks have put you in action.  Be careful.   Don’t loose your focus as you will be running at top speed.   Transiting Saturn in your 9th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs will be opposing transiting Uranus in your 3rd house of communications and community on Feb. 5th, 2009.  This is not an easy aspect but it will eliminate old 9th house attitudes and allow new and exciting ones to form.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and health. Issues of this house have come to some resolution and changes are needed in this area.  The changes are unexpected; however, they manifest beneficially.  Jupiter has recently entered your 1st house and will broaden your horizons.  Just be careful that it doesn’t broaden your waistline or butt.  Travel is always a good way to use Jupiter in the 1st house.  The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 12th house of behind-the -scenes activities.   I am sure that there have been some upsets for you having to do with the past and, possibly, being impatient.  This continues during this month. Saturn in your 8th house of partnership resources, sex, death and taxes is being redefined as we speak.  Transiting Uranus will be in opposition to Saturn on 2/5/2009 demanding that you let go of your old structures and build a new structure that will connect with the you of today. 

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs, advocating changes that must take place.  Some of these changes come to you very unexpectedly and are for the most part exciting and emotionally pleasing.  Venus in your 1st house brings out the coy romantic in you.  The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 11th house of goals and upsets here have marred your ambition but only for awhile.  Jupiter in Aquarius has entered your 12th house of the past and behind-the-scenes activities promoting openness and a last minute savior.   You will not be able to keep any secrets during this transit. Forewarned is forearmed.  Saturn has been transiting your 7th house of partnerships. This has not been easy as the whole reason Saturn is here is to redefine partnerships for you.  You may find that you are unable to continue with a partnership because of feeling oppressed or growing apart.  Uranus in Pisces in the 1st house is demanding more freedom on a daily basis.  They become exact on 2/5/2009.  Oppositions are only won by compromise.
