We are definitely in an ending cycle.  This New Moon is the prelude to the Partial Full Moon Eclipse on June 26^th 2010.  This Full Moon Eclipse concludes the Full Moon Eclipse that took place December 30^th, 2009.

More later on this subject and now back to the New Moon.

This New Moon has a transiting Uranus Jupiter conjunction in square to transiting Pluto.

To those of us that can imagine the energy of this aspect, take it up a notch or two because of the Pluto.  Jupiter will exactly square Pluto during the month of July and then retrograde.  This is expansion.  Check the houses that occupy the planets and you will find the area of expansion.  Uranus and Jupiter are pretty exciting for some and scary for others.  The level of fear that you hold is what will determine if it is exciting or scary.  You will have met this energy early in the month.  I would say around the 6^th of June.  There is a second part to this conjunction.  This conjunction is square to Pluto adding a good amount of passion or deliberateness.

This NM also squares transiting Saturn, introducing a good amount of responsibility and structure to the coming two weeks.  Mars will have just past an opposition to Chiron by a day or so, spurring communication in relation to personal thoughts and desires.  Transiting Mars is currently trining Pluto shifting your thinking to details around current changes.  This NM in Gemini always has a duality attached to it.  Find the duality in your life and you will find the NM. You may find yourself doing two things at once or deciding on what to do between two situations.  These will be the challenges you will face with the coming New Moon. 

Since I am only able to tell you the transiting aspects, in order for you to get a complete picture you will have to add this information to your natal chart.  Look for where the NM takes place, what house is it?  This is the area that will be affected with the NM.

The Full Moon partial Eclipse on June 26, 2010 will complete the cycle that started on December 30^th, 2009.  This Full Moon brings in a change that you have been dealing with for the last 6 months.  Following that Full Moon Eclipse will be a New Moon Eclipse two weeks later that will begin another new cycle.  So, not only are you looking at the end of one cycle you are looking at the beginning of a new cycle.  If you take a minute to think back 2 ½ years ago you are at the end of this Virgo Saturn cycle also.  Everything is pointing to new energy and new beginnings.  The new Libra Saturn cycle is the light at the end of the tunnel.  We are almost there…Saturn is in exaltation in Libra.  It works very well there.  Libra is a Cardinal Air planet.  This is the relationship cycle, dealing with partnership and dealing with the general public. Find the house that Libra rules and you will be looking at the future.

The two weeks between the Full Moon Eclipse of December 31^st, 2009 and the New Moon Eclipse are especially challenging.  Mars is still retrograde as is Mercury until the 15^th of January.  Saturn and Pluto are in square and challenging you.  I know this has been a difficult period as many of you called me for a personal reading.  I want to make some things clear.  If you think of situations as either “bad or good,” then this Saturn Pluto square may have put a dent in your plans.  I want you to consider that these are changes, no more and no less.  They may be difficult or easy but they are simply changes that challenge your current plans.  This New Moon Eclipse tells where we will expend most of our energy for the next 6 months.  If we are lucky, 3 months, but depending on the cycle we are watching, it could go as long as a year.   I don’t want to boggle you with cycles so let’s get to this New Moon Eclipse.

This New Moon Eclipse consists of a square from transiting Saturn to transiting Pluto and Mercury.  That immediately tells me that there are intense and powerful conversations taking place asking you for a plan in order to solve some unexpected situation.  The main part of the NME is the conjunction to Venus and the sextile to transiting Uranus.  This is an indication that whatever is going to express itself will happen unexpectedly and quickly and will concern money and/or love.  This is opportunity knocking.

Back to Saturn square Pluto exact during this NME can be a total change in direction that requires thought and planning.   Remember: Saturn is structure and Pluto is transformation.  That is the essence of what you will be doing.  If you have any planets at or around 4 degrees of Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn), you will be affected.  Mars continues to retrograde until March 10^th, 2010 when you will decide a way to proceed that will best fit your current situation.  Mercury retrograde will go direct on the 15^th conjunct the New Moon Eclipse keeping things in the correct prospective.   Because this is a Cardinal Eclipse, you will be challenged to assert yourself and in that assertion fulfill this energy quest.  Situations can change without any notice, especially, up to and including the eclipse.  This Eclipse will ask you to make a plan and stay very flexible until the eclipse is over in 6 months.  Saturn is transiting in Libra and Libra is a Cardinal sign all by itself.  Think action but action without a plan is chaos.

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.   Saturn in your 7^th house of partnerships is preparing the ground for some hard work and partnership issues.  Uranus in the 12^th house sextiles the New Moon Eclipse conjunct Venus suggests this is something from the past that becomes available to you quite unexpectedly.  Mercury is going direct and will detail the coming events in Capricorn, your 10^th house.   Jupiter at 29 degrees of Aquarius will soon enter Pisces, your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the subconscious mind and institutions.  This will be an eleventh hour savior for you throughout the coming year.  Jupiter in the 12^th is considered last minute help.  Career seems to be uppermost in your mind at this time and it will be very active for you on a personal basis. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, higher education, philosophy, publishing and foreign affairs.  It is conjunct Venus and that can only be good.  It forms a sextile to transiting Uranus in the 11^th house of goals opening opportunities for you to reach your desired goals.  This NME also involves a square from transiting Saturn in your 6^th house of work and everyday health to square Pluto and Mercury in your 9^th house of legal matters, higher education, philosophy, publishing and foreign affairs.  This aspect can be very disruptive as it asks you to make an instant plan during a difficult time.  It will also ask you to be flexible during this transit which is not so easy for fixed planets (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius). Jupiter will be entering Pisces and expanding your goals.

 GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 8^th house of partnership resources, other people’s money, sex, death and taxes.  It is conjunct Venus and sextile to transiting Uranus in your 10^th house of career.  Money and/or love opportunities seem to appear very unexpectedly from the career sector of your chart.  More importantly, there is a square aspect between transiting Saturn in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs and transiting Pluto conjunct Mercury in your 8^th house.  This can be a disruptive aspect as it challenges your 8^th house of partnership finances and Mercury.   It begs for a plan but the change is clearly in focus as we speak.  The object of the game is to stay focused and be flexible.  Do not let chaos rule your soul.  Jupiter will fast be entering Pisces, your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.  This will open doors for you and enhance your career base.  Remember, the Eclipse can last for 6 months

 CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 7^th house of partnership. (Business or Personal)  It conjuncts Venus and sextiles transiting Uranus in the 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, higher education, publishing, philosophy and foreign affairs. This means there are opportunities that can quantify for partnership status if given a chance.  More important is the square aspect between transiting Saturn in the 4^th house of home and transiting Pluto conjunct Mercury that takes place in the 7^th house of partnership that makes us consider new challenges to partnerships that seem to require a distinct plan if they are to be successful.   Jupiter is currently approaching Pisces. That will take place in your 9^th house and open the door to new and expanded philosophies, legal matters and foreign affairs.  This Eclipse asks you to make a plan to go forward but be very flexible.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The NME is conjunct transiting Venus and sextile transiting Uranus in your 8^th house of partnership resources, other people’s money, sex, death and taxes.  This is opportunity, folks, and opportunity to connect with the object of your affection at work or to receive the opportunity of increased finances from some pre- determined point.  Mars is going retrograde in your 1^st house of personality and is delaying you from moving forward at this time.  As it continues to retrograde until March 10, 2010, you will be internalizing all that has happened so far.   Transiting Saturn in your 3^rd house of communication and community is squaring transiting Pluto conjunct Mercury in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  This aspect pleads for a plan and it may not be easy to do as this aspect can be disruptive.   Mercury goes direct on this NME and requires flexibility as well a good plan.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  It is conjunct Venus which informs us the subject is either money or love.  It also forms a sextile aspect with transiting Uranus in the 7^th house of partnerships.  Opportunity is the name of this game.  You have had Saturn in your 1^st house for the last 2 years and it has recently moved into Libra.  It will be returning to Virgo to complete things that have been unresolved.  It moves into Libra in July to resume the Libra transit.  So, you are not finished with Saturn yet.  At this time transiting Saturn is in your 2^nd house of love and personal money making a square to transiting Pluto conjunct Mercury in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This aspect requires a plan that is suggested by Saturn square Mercury in dealing with some disruptive situation.  Since Pluto is involved, you can be sure it is a matter of transformation that is taking place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  Be flexible. 

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  It is conjunct transiting Venus and sextile Uranus in the 6^th house of everyday work and health.  This can be a work or health opportunity that appears quite suddenly and is a positive opportunity for you.  At the same time there is a transiting Saturn in your 1^st house that is squaring transiting Pluto in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  This is important as it demands that you take account of yourself and your home.  You will be examining what you need and relieving yourself of the excess baggage you have been carrying.  This can be anything that you thought was useful at the time but have now become burdensome.  You need a plan of action in order to accomplish certain changes in your home along with transforming your inner self.  The challenges you face with this NME will be around for the next 6 months.  Note: the ruler of Libra is Venus so your ruler is involved in the NME; therefore, you will have the opportunity to define how you appear to people and yourself.

 SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 3^rd house emphasizing communication and community.  This NME is conjunct transiting Venus and sextile transiting Uranus in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  Venus rules your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past, the subconscious and institutions.  There seems to be some opportunity lurking for you that involves the past and it appears very unexpectedly.  Not to burst your bubble, but along with that is a transiting Saturn square transiting Pluto Mercury conjunction causing a disruption in your immediate area and with communications.  This seems to be coming from behind- the-scenes or the past and is disruptive.  This square has been around for a long time but with this NME it comes sharply into focus.  Plan and assertion are the story of the day.  Mercury goes direct and forces you to make an immediate plan to move forward.   

 SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This NME takes place in your 2^nd house of personal values and finances.  The challenges will involve these issues.  The NME is conjunct transiting Venus and ruler of your 11^th house of goals in sextile to Uranus in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  This is opportunity knocking.  At the same time you have a transiting Saturn conjunct transiting Pluto and Mercury.  This is very disruptive and will require planning and the ability to think creatively in order to achieve the maximum benefit.  Saturn begs for a plan to reduce the chaos of this current transformation.  Mercury will be going direct and promises you the correct plan for your situation. If you can look beyond the disruption, you will find an opportunity. 

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This NME takes place in your 1^st house of personality and appearance.  There are two parts to this Eclipse.  The 1^st part is the NME itself conjunct transiting Venus in your 1^st house and sextile transiting Uranus in your 3^rd house of communication and community.  You look good to the world at large and you could be ushered into the limelight quite suddenly.  Communications are unexpected as is the attention.  The 2^nd part is the transiting Saturn in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community square to transiting Pluto conjunct Mercury also in your 1^st house.  This is a disruption in the life and plans that you hold.   Saturn square Mercury requires a plan to help you deal with the disruption, or change, that is brought by this potent square.  Mars is still retrograde in your 8^th house of partnership finances internalizing past actions.  This is personal to you.

 AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past, the subconscious and institutions.  It comes in two parts. The 1^st is the NME conjunct transiting Venus, ruler of your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, higher education, publishing and foreign affairs  in sextile to transiting Uranus in the 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  (Love) The simplest way to describe this is a personal opportunity from the past.  The 2^nd part is a bit stronger in detail.  This Eclipse has a transiting Saturn in the 9^th house square transiting Pluto and Mercury in the 12^th house.  This is disruptive and requires that you make plans immediately to counteract the effects of this transformation.  Creative thinking is necessary and useful at this time.  The best thing to do is to be flexible and plan.  Saturn in the 9^th is the operative square.  Repositioning is required.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 11^th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  It is a two-part Eclipse.  The main part of the NME is conjunct Venus, ruler of your 8^th house of partnership resources and other peoples money in sextile to Uranus in your 1^st house of personality and appearance.  This is an unexpected opportunity to enhance your goals, hopes and wishes.  The other part of this Eclipse is a square between transiting Saturn in your 8^th house of partnership finances and Pluto conjunct Mercury in your 11^th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  This can be disruptive and require planning and out-of-the box thinking to accomplish.  The main things to remember are to be flexibility and to keep focused.

I’m back from Chicago and as my eyes glaze over at all the work ahead of me, I often wonder why they don’t give awards for the most work done in the least amount of time.  I think every woman would qualify for that Oscar.  Christmas is upon us and the rush for the holidays has started early.  Presents, cookies, home-made everything, parties and gatherings, all make for a hectic time.  It’s no wonder that we are having a stressful holiday and then to have transiting Saturn square transiting Pluto.  I know some of you have a deep abiding fear of Saturn, but I want you to take a minute to rethink that attitude.  Without Saturn there wouldn’t be any structure to anything.   Let that thought roam around for awhile in your imagination.  Saturn demands structure and if you don’t have the necessary quantity or quality of structure, it will surely stop you from moving ahead.  Pluto is in Capricorn at this time and is in the process of transforming that sign in your chart.  Transformation without structure is total chaos.  If you add to this soup any natal planets you may have in early degrees of Cardinal  signs, you will certainly see the need for as much structure as possible.  Since this square appears in Cardinal signs, I want you to realize that something is brewing in all your Cardinal houses.  The other important thing is that Uranus will be entering Aries for a long transit.  This is another Cardinal sign.   Cardinal is initiatory, assertive and action.  Are we getting a clue as to what is coming?   This is a Cardinal T-square, involving transiting Saturn in Libra, transiting Uranus in Aries and transiting Pluto in Capricorn.  If any of you have any natal planets in early Cardinal to add to the mix, it will describe the changes in store for you.   Even if you don’t have  any natal planets involved, these transits tell  where the action will be taking place in our lives. 

The relationship with Mars and Saturn are very much connected.  Mars in Leo and going retrograde later this month is a reality check for the next 3 months.  I know that Saturn is in Libra at this time and this is a great opportunity for you to see how you will be spending the Saturn in Libra cycle in August of 2010.  On December 20,^th 2009 Mars will go retrograde, at 19 degrees of Leo.  Mars will be retrograde in January and February and until March 10^th, giving you an opportunity to make adjustments in the first 3 months of Mars in Leo.  On March 10^th 2010, Mars will be in the same position it was in on October 17^th, 2009 giving you the opportunity to re-do that first 3 months and make  any changes you deem necessary.  Mars will not go retrograde again after March 10^th, 2010 until the next time Saturn changes signs in three years.

In the coming month there is a New Moon at 24 degrees of Sagittarius and, if you know Sag like I know Sag, you will be stretching yourself quite thin.   This New Moon makes a square to Uranus so expect the unexpected.  I will try to elaborate on this more in the individual forecasts.  Saturn has passed the square to Pluto, but not by much, so I imagine that you will still be feeling a bit stressed.  Mars and Venus are making a love connection so keep batting those eyelashes.  The Full Moon will be in Cancer at 10 degrees on December 31, 2009.  Remember the New Moon brings in the challenge and the Full Moon resolves it. 

Jupiter finally conjuncts Neptune on December 20^th thru the 24^th and is the harbinger of strong spiritual and mental revelations.  Be cautious of exaggerations and the tune of reality for neither will be correct. Drugs and alcohol are not a good choice at this time.

Did you know that Mars can fire off a Saturn transit?  If you have Saturn transiting any natal planet, whenever Mars hits a square to that same point, it will fire off the Saturn transit.  If you want to hear more about this …drop me a line.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.  This is a mental house and brings your inner philosophy to the forefront.  The challenge here can be one of character or integrity.  You might even say a challenge to the way you want to live.   Uranus in square from your 12^th house of the past may bring in people or events of the past very unexpectedly. Mars is in your 5^th house of children, creativity, and love affairs and trines the New Moon offering an easy go of it when it comes to 5^th house matters.  On December 20^th, 2009 Mars goes retrograde and some projects don’t proceed as you expect.  Saturn is transiting your 7^th house  and will be redesigning your attitude about partnerships in this current Saturn cycle.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership finances and other people’s money, sex, death, and taxes.  This challenge will have to do with money, but not your money.  This is any money you may receive from work, mortgage and/or partnership finances.  This New Moon squares Uranus in the 11^th house of hopes and wishes.  If you have a good aspect between the Sun and Uranus in your natal chart, you will love this square because it will bring in something positive in an exciting way. If you have a negative aspect with Uranus and the Sun in your natal chart, this will be difficult because of its unexpectedness.   The New Moon is in trine to Mars in your 4^th house of home signaling a good time for home entertaining.  Mars goes retrograde in your 4^th house and some things that deal with the home may be delayed until March.

 GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships, either business or personal.  Uranus transiting the 10^th house of career and standing in the community is in square to this New Moon.  This can be exciting if natally you have a good aspect between Uranus and the Sun in your natal chart.  It can also throw you for a loop if you don’t have it.  Mars is trinning the NM which ensures opportunity for holiday communication and festivities.   On December 20^th, 2009 Mars will go retrograde until March 10^th, 2010.  Mars is currently in your 3^rd house of communications and community.  Look for things in this area to continue but not as expected.  New situations that arise after the retrograde may change your prospective on this area of your life.

 CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The challenges will appear in this sector of your life with Uranus in Square from the 10^th house of career.  Unexpected developments may arise and can either be exciting or uncomfortable depending on the natal aspect between the Sun and Uranus.   Mars in your 2^nd house of personal finances makes a luscious trine to this NM.  This may be a bonus or some kind of financial gain.  On December 20, 2009 Mars will go retrograde in this 2^nd house which will delay some financial issues.  You may also find that things are just not working in the way you thought they would.  Don’t worry.  You will get the opportunity to re-do everything on March 10^th, 2010, only this time Mars does not go retrograde. 

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This NM takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs and offers you a challenge regarding this area of your chart.  Uranus is transiting your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, education and foreign affairs and is square the NM.  You may be invited to a party very unexpectedly or decide to have a party of your own.  This 9^th house event will be filled with unexpected attitude and holiday cheer.  Mars  in your 1^st house trining this NM indicates that you are very much into doing whatever is necessary  in order to achieve what you want.   You have a plan.  Mars will go retrograde in your 1^st house on December 20^th, 2009 and some of your personal plans may not go the way you expect.  Not to worry.  This will be an important and informational delay.  Jupiter will conjunct Neptune from December 20^th to the 24^th in your 7^th house of partnerships describing celebrations. 

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This NM takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues and can be  quite festive.  Uranus in the 7^th house in square to this NM asks us to expect the unexpected when it comes to partnerships and the general public.  You are probably planning a holiday party or going to a holiday party but some unexpected and/or exciting event can come about involving partnerships. This can be business or personal or both.  Mars is transiting your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past and preparation trining this NM and ushering in positive events.   Mars in this 12^th house has been  and will continue to redefine this area of your life.  On December 20^th, 2009 Mars will go retrograde and issues you thought were etched in stone are starting to crumble before your eyes.  Not to worry.  Sometimes we have to act on situations to see where they will go.  The opportunity to redo the last 3 months will come on March 10^th.   There is a Jupiter conjunct Neptune on December 20^th  to the 24^th urging you to beware of over-exaggerating your everyday work situation.  LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This NM takes place in your 3^rd house of communications and community.    This NM will improve communications and permit you to arrange festivities for the holiday season.  Uranus transiting the 6^th house of everyday work and health is in square to the NM putting an unexpected work situation or health issue in conflict with your personal desires.   Mars is transiting your 11^th house of hopes, wishes and goals and trines this NM  thus bringing your goals into reaching distance.  Jupiter will conjunct Neptune from December 20^th to December 24^th in your 5^th house of children, creativity and romance reminding  you to recognize situations built on illusion or delusion. Drugs and alcohol can literately create the impossible dream.  Mars goes retrograde on December 20^th, 2009 in your 11^th house to distract you from your original plans for your goals.  You will be changing or redefining them in the next 3 months.  You have been under some stress lately with Saturn in your 1^st house squaring Pluto in your 4^th house of home and core issues.

 SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances, love and values. You may find yourself going over-budget and spending more that you wanted.  Uranus in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs will bring conflict between your finances and desires..  What you desire will win.  Jupiter will conjunct Neptune on December 20^th to the 24^th in your 4^th house of home suggesting  that you will be going over the top with some issues.  Mars goes go retrograde this month on December 20, 2009 and career issues seem to bog down.  Sometimes God plays 52 pickup with our lives.   Is there a possible delay?  It really depends on your natal chart.  Not to worry. This retrograde brings you closer to what you really want. 

  SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and how you appear to the outside world.  The challenge is personal, very personal.  The NM seems to be shedding a lot of light on you and you and may not be comfortable in the limelight.  This is the season of excellence for you and all eyes are on you.  Mars is transiting your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, education, and foreign affairs forming a trine to the NM adding a bit of ease.  This will be a busy and celebratory month for you.  Mars goes retrograde on December 20^th, 2009 allowing for situations to readjust to the coming New Year.  Jupiter will conjunct Neptune from December 20^th to the 24^th making this holiday season one for the record books.    CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past, the subconscious, seclusion, preparation and institutions.  Unexpected communications will arrive and challenge your plans for the holidays.  Uranus in the 3^rd house of communications and community is squaring this NM allowing all this to transpire. Mars transiting your 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes moves with a favorable energy to make things a little easier.   Mars goes retrograde on December 20^th allowing you to see how far you have come during these last three months.  Issues develop and start to reveal themselves as this retrograde continues.  Sometimes life does not travel a straight line. Jupiter conjuncts Neptune from December 20^th to the 24^th ushering in a time when finances can be over-exaggerated or feelings may take a romantic route.  (Reality is pretty puffed up, like a hot air balloon.)

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 11th house of hopes, wishes and goals bringing in some unexpected financial challenges as to how you want to spend your holidays.  Also this month, Jupiter in your 1^st house conjuncts Neptune and acknowledges your desires.  This Jupiter Neptune conjunction occurs on December 20^th thru the 24^th , 2009.  I believe these are promises that we have been making to ourselves during this Jupiter transit.  Now the possibilities are in sight but are they real?  Mars transiting the 7^th house of partnerships (business or personal) has been circling the area trying to exploit minor partnership infractions.  This Mars goes retrograde on December 20^th, 2009 and allows you to revisit the last 3 months and see what is worth saving.  You continue to make new attitude adjustments in the next 3 months.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community challenging you with unexpected career developments.  This is definitely a season for parties, especially with Mars transiting your 6^th house of everyday work and health in a fire trine to this NM.  This can prove to be very good for you career- wise.  Mars does go retrograde on December 20^th, 2009 giving you the opportunity to rethink and review the happenings of the last 3 months.  Jupiter conjuncts Neptune, your ruler, in the 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past, the subconscious and institutions.   This can be a spiritual awakening and a cause for new mystical understandings.  Uranus has been transiting your 1^st house for quite some time now and the idea that it is getting ready to move into Aries is quite an inspiring thought.  

This is an exceptional New Moon because it lands at 25 degrees of Libra.  What is so exceptional, you say?  Well, let me count the ways.   First, this NM is in a Cardinal sign and represents assertive mental and social energy.  Second, this is the turning point to the July 22nd, 2009 Eclipse and is exactly square the Eclipse in July. Third, Mars is about to enter Leo on the New Moon ushering in a Mars cycle that will repeat everything we do from Oct. 17^th, 2009 until December 19^th, 2009.  As Mars retrogrades, issues arise that force you to reexamine your current direction.   Mars will reach 0 degrees of Leo on Feb. 28^th, 2010 and will remain there until March 21^st, 2010.  This period of time puts you in the same position that you were in on Oct. 18, 2009 only with more knowledge and, maybe, even a slight change in direction.  Thru the years I have watched this cycle and found that you can never really put your finger on the outcome.  Just know that it will refocus issues in concert with the Saturn re-entry into Virgo on April 8^th 2010.

This New Moon trines transiting Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune encouraging your dreams of expansion. Mars is inconjunct Pluto pleading for an adjustment to take place.  Transiting Venus is squaring transiting Pluto pressuring you in terms of relationships and finances.  Although this seems like a lot to digest, the challenges that you face at this time are instrumental in achieving your desired goals.

Saturn does enter Libra at the end of the month but nothing goes any further than January 14, 2010 when Saturn turns retrograde headed for 27 degrees of Virgo and its final sojourn thru the last degrees of Virgo.

This New Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships.  There is pressure all around you.  Your 7^th house is stacked.  Career issues, energy issues, work issues, and financial issues all seem to be hitting you at once.  There are still indications that Uranus and Saturn are in orb of making your work and behind the scenes activity difficult to manage.  The most important aspect is Mars entering your 5^th house of children, creativity and recreation.   This Mars will trine your ascendant and provide you with personal energy and a new direction to follow.  If you have planets in a fire sign between the 0 and 19 degrees, this will be an awesome adventure.  These next couple of months holds the ideas and desires that you will manifest in July of 2010.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The Eclipse took place in your 3^rd house of communications and community in July of 2009.  Well, this is the turning point or change in that situation.  Since it takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work, I assume that it will involve your everyday work or this will manifest as a health issue.  You are looking at a new direction and your expectations  force you to evolve.  You are pushing hard for 9^th house issues but your biggest energy outlay with be in your 4^th house of home and core issues. The home is an outward manifestation of your inner self.  It seems that much has to be done in order for you to move forward with your plans.  January will complete this Eclipse cycle.  The energy is changing from earth to air.  That means from the practical to inceptions.  Take advantage of your creativity and continue to journal these next couple of months. 

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and recreation.  This is the turning point of the Eclipse of July 22^nd 2009 in your second house of love and finances.   There are opportunities that open up from 9^th house issues and provide you with insights for new directions.  The pressure comes to you from issues that deal with partnership finances or money from other people.  Communications and community will be the melody of the future. (Mars in Leo in 3^rd)  Watch these areas for the inspiration that comes from familiarity.  This NM trines your ascendant and 9^th house allowing you full use of your cognitive abilities.   

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  The 4^th house is representative of your home but on a deeper level, it reveals what your needs and abilities are at this time.  The Eclipse of July 22, 2009 took place in your 1^st house of personality and how people see you.  You have now reached the turning point to that specific incident and you ask yourself if this is what you want.  This is the next step in your journey to accomplishment.  Your major energy outlay will be in dealing with personal values and personal finances.  Mars entering the 2^nd house will re-define your personal values and finances in the next 6 months. LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communications and community.  The challenges that appear at this time are very important in your desire for specific accomplishments.  Mars entering your 1^st house of personality and how you appear to the world will be the foundation that you build on in the next 6 months.  This Mars will act as a mini-Saturn in redefining you and how you look to the world.  (I don’t just mean physically, either.)   Mars in the 1^st house indicates movement, travel, promotion and taking personal control over who and what you are.  This prelude of Mars in your 1^st house for the next 6 months prepares the way for Saturn’s re-entry into Libra, your 3^rd house of communications and community in July of 2010.  This Mars transit will definitely prepare you for the near future.

The New Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career.  This is the turning point, or square to the Eclipse that took place on July 22, 2009 in your 7^th house of partnerships.  The most important aspect of this NM is Mars’s entrance into Leo, your 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes.  This is where Mars acts as a mini-Saturn and redefines all your 8^th house matters.   This lasts for the next 6 months.  This simple little Mars retrograde will direct and focus you for the re-entry of Saturn into Libra in July of 2010.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, higher education and foreign affairs.  This is a turning point to the Eclipse of July 22, 2009 in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The challenges that appear with this NM will help direct your energy to your desired goals.  The most important aspect is the Mars entrance into your 7^th house of partnerships.  This does not bode well for partnerships.  The focus will be on redefining partnerships so they will be workable during the next re-entry transit of Saturn in Libra in July of 2010.  Partnership issues take up the next 6 months.  Because this NM is in Libra, it is in trine to your Sun, Ascendant and transiting Aquarius planets.  Enjoy.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership resources, sex, death and taxes.  This NM is the turning point to the July 22^nd Eclipse that took place in your 5^th house of creativity, children and love affairs.  The most important aspect of this NM is Mars entering Leo, your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The Mars transit will act as a mini-Saturn and redefine your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  This lasts for the next 6 months and prepares the way for Saturn’s re-entry into Libra in July of 2010.  Saturn does enter Libra at the end of the month but because of the Mars transit, it will not fulfill itself until its final re-entry into Libra in July of 2010. 

In my planning for this New Moon I was under the impression that it would be around September 24, 2009.  Imagine my surprise when I looked at the Ephemeris for this coming New Moon and it said September 18^th.  This NM is very important as it starts something for everyone that requires dedication, duty and/or responsibility.

This coming NM is at 26 degrees of Virgo in conjunct aspect to the Saturn Uranus opposition.  We are looking at a new beginning with this NM, but a NM conjunct transiting Saturn.  I imagine that the Saturn Uranus opposition will feed into this at some point, either before or at the time of the New Moon.   This New Moon may very well be a result of the Saturn Uranus opposition.  The Saturn Uranus opposition takes place in Virgo and Pisces at 24 degrees.  For those of us who have Saturn and Uranus in a harmonious aspect in our natal chart, this will be a relatively exciting and interesting change, certainly nothing you expected.  If your natal chart holds a difficult aspect between Saturn and Uranus,  the opposition will be stressful.  This NM conjunct transiting Saturn bellows a new beginning.  This is a beginning that entails more responsibility, restriction and a definite new base for building a foundation.  As we move through this energy, take note of what you wanted 2 years ago.   In the next couple of months it will be yours.   Also during this NM, Mercury is retrograde and squaring transiting Pluto causing intense and emotional communications.    Where does this aspect take place in your chart?

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health. The implication is that you will be taking on new responsibilities in regards to work and/or health.   Uranus opposes Saturn from the 12^th house of the past, preparation, the subconscious and institutions.  Be prepared for some conflict in these areas.   Some people are frightened at the prospect of a Saturn aspect, especially when it is in opposition to Uranus, but always remember that whatever leaves was not serving you any longer.  Some changes tend to be more stressful than others solely because of fear of the unknown.  This NM will take up the energy and direct you into making a new and stronger foundation in your health and everyday work.  The Moon will also conjunct retrograde Mercury and square Pluto from the NM position.  This promises a large amount of emotional and intense communications in dealing with career matters.

 TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investment.  This NM sends a signal of added responsibility and new foundational changes that take place in your 5^th house.  At the same time the Uranus opposition seems to bring your goals in conflict with this new direction.  You may have to decide what is more important and bite the bullet on these matters.  Saturn has been redefining this area of your chart for awhile and, if this comes as a shock to you, its time to pay more attention.  There may be some intense and emotional rhetoric going on that focuses on education or legal affairs.  The results being that there may be some issues that fail to show their relevance in your life.   Take time to digest all that is happening and where you are headed.  Whatever happens in Virgo will be harmonious to your ascendant and/or Sun.  The new cycle is fast approaching.

This New Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  This places Uranus in your 10^th house of career.  This NM brings in some new beginning that requires more responsibility on your part and the final release of a conflict.  Saturn in Virgo is in square by sign to your ascendant asking you to look carefully at what you have built for yourself.  Your core issues especially involving your home has gone thru substantial changes. These last two years have not been easy but what you have is a new foundation in your 4^th house of home and a renewed sense of self.  After this NM you will be headed for new territory.  Communications tend to encompass matters that deal with money, especially other people’s money and/or partnership funds.   

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

Communications that deal with finances can be intense and powerful. Watch this month as much of what this last 2 years was about slaps you on the back. CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, higher education, philosophy and foreign affairs.  Along with the NM Saturn will be in direct opposition to Uranus transiting the 3^rd house of communications and community.  Some conflict will leave your life and put you in the position to dedicate all of your energy to achieving your desires.   Saturn conjunct the NM will place new responsibility and restraint at the top of your priority list. You are on your way to a pinnacle that you have been steadily preparing.  As Saturn moves into Libra, things will get a lot easier and you will have reached more of the pinnacle.  Try not to burn any bridges if you can help it.   

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership finances and money from other people.  The NM will be conjunct Saturn and signal a new beginning involving 8^th house matters.  The 8^th house does have some significant importance in regard to finances but it is exactly the opposite view.  The question is what you will give me for my money or my love? The correct answer is (Anything of equal value.)  This may be brought about by the Uranus opposition to Saturn that takes place on or around the New Moon.  The opposition stems from the 2^nd house of finances and personal money and love.  This reverts back to self worth and what we believe we are worth.  Communications from the past seem to be stronger and more concise.  Take time to think during this NM and examine where you have been and where you are going.  A new cycle is just around the corner.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnership, personal or business, or dealing with the public.  As this New Moon approaches, you will notice that some conflict arises that makes it impossible for you to continue in the direction you were going.  You will have to contend with those issues pretty much on demand.  Some issues will leave your life whether you approve or not but they will significantly improve your aspects for the future.  Whatever leaves, let it go.  It will be replaced with something better. This puts you in a position of new responsibilities and restraints.  You’re heading for a new cycle next month that will usher in the Saturn in Libra transit.  Communications about the future are strong and intense.

The last of our big three Eclipses bellows forth on the 6^th of August.  For many of us it will be anti-climatic as so much has preceded this Eclipse but, fear not there are more changes in the offing.  This is a Full Moon Eclipse so you must expect changes.  Where the changes take place in your life depends on the area of your natal chart it ultimately resides.  Interestingly enough, this being the third and final eclipse in a series of three has an added message connected to it. We are entering into a new 6 month eclipse pattern that will involve a change in energy and direction.  The next 6 months will witness Saturn leaving Virgo and entering Libra.  It reaches 4 degrees of Libra.  It then turns retrograde and re-enter Virgo for its last and final pass before leaving Virgo permanently for the next 28 years.  During this change of energy the planet Mars will be making its journey through Leo.  This only happens when Saturn changes signs.  We all have our plans and mental goals dancing in and out of our consciousness but this transit of Mars takes on the energy of a mini-Saturn.  It ultimately focuses this energy into a specific direction made just for you.  This Saturn and Mars transit also has the added energy of Pluto in Capricorn to contend with. Saturn will square Pluto during this time and also square any planet between 0 and 4 degrees of a Cardinal sign. (Libra, Capricorn, Aries, Cancer) Check your natal planets for these points.   Our conversations will not be dull and the energies involved will definitely change the direction for all of us.  

Back to the FME.  Its position is in Aquarius, a constellation comprised of fixed air.  This energy ignores the obvious and resists any change that doesn’t fit into a precise mental picture.  If this takes place conjunct a natal planet or in opposition, it will definitly be personal to you.  If it occurs in the 1^st, 4^th, 7^th, or 10^th house, it will also increase the impact for you.  The square to this FME will occur on November 2^nd, 2009 bringing a lot of issues to a head and possibly resolving them. There is a possibility of this lasting longer. The aspects are varied during this Eclipse.  There is a significant Mars trine Moon and Jupiter and in square aspect to transiting Saturn.  An interesting adventure to be sure but difficult in terms of the energy you have to expend to achieve your desired outcome.  Venus has recently opposed Pluto adding intensity to a budding love affair and increasing communications.  Uranus, the planet of freedom and release, is still on the books for another hit to Saturn in September; however, there are just some issues that you have not let go of yet.   This FME is a direct result of the NME. This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 11^th house of goals, group associations, hopes and wishes.  The major impact of this FME will lie in the conclusions you have reached during this eclipse.  You will change your goals but achieving them may be harder than you expected.  Fear not, my little fireball, as life’s adventures are the fuel that keeps you going.  The FME in Aquarius ignites your Uranus instinct for freedom but conflicts with the stress that you are enduring at this time.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel and you can see it.  Your goals will not be clear for awhile but the experience of the challenge has you enthralled. 

Taurus

This FME takes place in your 10^th house of career and guarantees a change in this area.  Career changes are positive.  Finances place you in a precarious position but thankfully, the reality of your life does not support this fear. The FME passes over the Jupiter Chiron and Neptune position exacerbating the fear of the unknown but also offering choices and opportunities. This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters, foreign affairs and writing and publishing.  This is a Full Moon Eclipse so expect changes to come about in all or any of the above areas of your life.  Since this is a mental house, it may be something that challenges you mentally.  At this point in your life there many unknowns and that fact alone can have an impact on you.  This looks financially beneficial to you even though you will be under some duress to accomplish something.  There are many issues of the 9^th house that will not be solidified for awhile but your ability to juggle and manage will save you from any boring predicaments.    

Cancer

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 8^th house of partnership resources, other people’s money, sex, death and taxes.   Well, that takes in a mouth-full.  The interesting result of this FME can affect any and all of the above mentioned areas of life and, possibly, some I have missed.  The change is financial but not personally financial; this has to do with partnership monies, money you get from work, institutional finances and possibly, from inheritance.  Finances are in flux.  To say this is negative is incorrect.  To say this is stressful is correct. Your ability to nurture yourself will be needed at this time.  Nurturing everyone else will not help.

Leo

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships (business or personal),  or directly dealing with the general public.  There are changes that take place in this area of your life but they seem to have an eye on your goals.  You will be working diligently to achieve some financial security. This is causing the stress in your life.  There has been some redefining in your financial sector for the last 2 ½ years and now you will understand where this has been going and why. Reach deep inside yourself for that ability to withstand the obvious hardships of life and come out smelling like a rose.

Virgo

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The changes that take place at this time may seem stressful but in reality they are positive.  The stress in your life solely comes from redefining who you are in relation to your career.  You are not sure about too much when it comes to your everyday work.  The unknown factors are not conducive to feeling secure.  You may feel as if there are a lot of issues up in the air.  Relax.  This is not the time to feel insecure.  Remember you’re the only one who knows exactly what’s possible.

Libra

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 5^th house of children, love affairs and creativity.  Changes in this area are usually difficult because of the subjects.  If it involves our children, the hair on the back of our necks stands at attention. If it involves a love affair, the hair everywhere else stands at attention.  The only safe bet is our creativity.  Or is it?  Gambling and/or stocks and bonds have recently been the an object of contention. recently.  This is a direct result of the NME and leads us into the future.  Let’s keep our focus forward and not towards the past.  Vacations are pleasant.

Scorpio

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  Again, I must repeat that anything that takes place in your home is an outward manifestation of what is currently going on under your skin.  Changes in the home manifest the changes that take place in your core.  Finances seem to be of benefit to you, but they are causing you an uncommon amount of stress.  The 4^th house has a lot of issues that have not been resolved as of yet.  This alone can put you over the edge.  Patience is a virtue and you have plenty of it.  Use it.

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 3^rd house of communication and community.  The line up of planets in this house keeps the ideas growing and rolling.  There are a lot of changes in what people say and what they do.  You may find that career matters are stressful at this time and yet there are opportunities.  Go figure.  The unknown factors in this scenario do not lessen yet.  You must remember that positive thoughts have a way of changing the stress in your life.  The Saturn Uranus opposition on the 10^th of September to the 18^th of September will release you.

Capricorn

The Full Moon Eclipse takes place in the 2^nd house of personal finances, love and money.  There are planets that indicate uncertainties in your life revolving around love and money.  This trio of planets in your 2^nd house of personal money has been in constant flux recently.  It is not over yet.  Look deep inside yourself for your own reassurance instead of looking to anyone or anything.  This is an important life lesson.  It resonates for all of us in some area of our lives. 

Aquarius

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 1^st house of personality and appearance.  To say that this will change who you are a given.  Where are you are going and when will it takes place are the questions that are constantly gnawing at you.  Stop for a minute and consider who you are, what you know, your life’s experience and your value as a person in this world.  Is it possible with all of that going for you,  that you will loose at anything?  This may be a challenging period but not anything you haven’t been tested for in the past.   Your quotient for success in your eyes is not the same as everyone else’s. 

Pisces

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 12^th house of the past, hidden things, the subconscious, behind the scenes activity, clandestine arrangements.  Now that I’ve made this sound seductive, I will definitely give you the true low down.  This is all about the everyday happenings that you cannot see.  This is all happening behind the scenes and enlarged by your imagination for the sole purpose to freak you out.  The area of concern for you personally should be your inner self.  There is no better security.  Everything is in flux and you are not privy to the answers.  Find you and you find security.

We are on the verge of a powerful New Moon Eclipse at 29 degrees of Cancer.  This is the second New Moon in Cancer in a row.  Think for a minute where Cancer is in your chart.  Cancer is nurturing, emotional, loving, traditional and very Cardinal.  The last New Moon in Cancer was in opposition to Pluto.  That was very dramatic in everyone’s life.  This NME is also in Cancer but at the end of the sign and it does make another aspect to Pluto, an inconjunct.  This is a major adjustment.  Also, there is the planet Uranus in trine to this NME emphasizing unpredictability and sudden opportunities for freedom. The next aspect is Venus square to Saturn, bringing in financial skepticism and some form of emotional isolation. Uranus also squares Pluto promoting unexpected events.  Mars sextile to Mercury promotes communication to improve the situation.  As you can see by the planets and aspects involved, this will be a strong Eclipse. If you have any planets involved in this NME, as I am sure you do, look to your natal chart to see how these planets activate.  If you have a natal Pluto trine the Sun, this will be a wonderful Eclipse for you.  Check mainly the Sun and Moon and then go from there.   You will see the area of your life that receives the strongest hit.  The importance of this NME is that it takes us into Saturn in Libra, the next 2 ½ year cycle.  If you know about Saturn transits, then you realize this is a major change in energy. This is Cardinal energy; you taking the lead and changing your expression in some way.  I am working on an article for Saturn transits in Libra with Mars retrograde in Leo.  This should give a heads up on what’s coming. If you noticed, the last NM in Cancer gave the impetus to do more and express more.  Well, here comes the sequel to that movie.  Be prepared to institute new actions, plans and programs that are a more up to date expression of who you are.  The house that this NME falls in is where the challenge takes place.  This NME does not have to be negative; it is all in how you view life.  The only sure thing is that it will be strong and last a long time.  The general consensus is that as long as the NME is in minutes is as long as it lasts in years. This NME lasts approximately 6 1/2 minutes.  Some situations will be revealed that you will have to take action on.  Depending on the aspects this NME makes will indicate the action you will express.

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  The home is the outside manifestation of your inner core,  so expect new beginnings that will be challenging.  Not only will you be making changes on the outside but you will be making very strong changes on a deeper level. The inconjuct with Pluto and Pluto’s square to Uranus makes a powerful and unexpected adjustment in your career sector.  The Saturn square to Venus accents the feeling that this is a lonely position to be in.  With your Aries ascendant and rising sign, you are definitely on the train to somewhere.  This is Cardinal heaven. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 3^rd house of communications and community.  Uranus square Pluto and inconjunct the NME leads me to believe that the action you are about to start has a definite connection to your goals.  These are all mental signs and positions; therefore, much of this action takes place on a mental level.  The 9^th house contains transiting Pluto leading me to believe that this house is being transformed as we speak.  This is the house of higher education, philosophy, foreign affairs, law, writing and publishing.  Personal finances,, children and love affairs are strained as this NME contains a Venus square Saturn.   There is plenty to talk about and, maybe, even a vacation.     

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  The Uranus square in the 10^th house of career to Pluto in the 8^th of partnership resources and inconjunct to the NME seem to be screaming new financial beginnings that happen very unexpectedly.  This train seems to jump the tracks and all of a sudden you are going in a new direction.  You may feel  as if you are leaving a lot behind as Saturn is restricted in your 4^th house of home. This is a strong time for you and a new beginning. 

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 1^st house of personality and how you appear to the world.  The Moon represents change wherever it lands.  Imagine a new look or  travel..  Mars in the 12^th sextiles  Mercury in the 2^nd and opens communications for you.  Uranus in the 9^th house of philosophy, foreign affairs, higher education and law is in square to Pluto in the 7^th stressing legal matters with a partnership. The NME aspect of an inconjunct to Pluto reveals an adjustment has to be made. Venus in the 12^th house square Saturn in the 3^rd makes this NME feel insecure during this event.   There is a lovely Uranus trine to the NME acknowledging  that there is more freedom in store for you.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 12^th house of behind the scenes activity, the subconscious and hidden matters.   If you have any secrets you are trying to keep under wraps, forget it.  This NME is like a spotlight on the 12^th house.  Everything will be on the table.  Uranus in the 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death, and taxes squares Pluto in the 6^th, causing mega stress with partnership finances and your current work and/or health situation.   This 12^th house NME is in an inconjunct aspect to Pluto persuading you to make the adjustments needed.  Finances are sketchy but help is on the way.  You may have questions about partnership that can’t be answered at this time.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 11^th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  You currently have transiting Saturn in your 1^st house begging you to rethink everything you are going to do.  This NME sheds a lot of light on your future goals.  The NME forms an inconjunct to the transiting planet Pluto  in the 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs, asking you to accept the adjustment that will be taking place in that area.  There is an indication that this adjustment will benefit you in the long run.  Mars in your 10^th house of career is causing communication stress due to some not so public conversations. This next six months will be all about what you want and how to get it.

 LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

The New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 10^th house of career and makes an inconjuct aspect to Pluto to the 4^th house of home and core issues.  On one level the career sector is being activated but it requires an adjustment from you on some core level.  Uranus in the 6^th house is in trine to this NME showering you with opportunity from this adjustment.  Saturn in the 12^th is in square to Venus in the 9^th house.  This may make you feel a little restricted.  Communications will be an active part of this association.  Uranus does make a square aspect to Pluto in the 4^th from the 6^th indicating that some actions need transformation.  This may cost money but then what doesn’t ?

. SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, law, higher education and foreign affairs.  This is the area that will take up your time in the coming months.  There is a major aspect that involves Uranus in trine to the NME and also squaring transiting Pluto in the 3^rd house of communications and community.  The NME makes a major inconjunct aspect to transiting Pluto in the 3^rd house.  You can plan on a major adjustment that is going to offer you more freedom in the long run.  The changes that you make are necessary and you have to work with them.  This is a challenge and you will have to perform. 

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in the 8^th house of partnership resources.  The aspects that it makes require an adjustment from you that has to do with other people’s money or partnership monies.  Uranus in the 4^th house of home and core issues squares Pluto in the 2^nd house of personal finances forcing you to make some changes. This Uranus trines the NME releasing you from some restrictions and allowing you some unexpected and exciting news about your own direction.  A lot of communications are taking place in your 7^th house of partnership with regards to work and the new adjustments that have to take place.  This can be very interesting.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 7^th house of partnership and makes an inconjunct aspect to transiting Pluto in your 1^st house. There are adjustments that have to be made and  worrying about them won’t make them happen any sooner or be more comfortable.  There is a trine from Uranus in the 4^th to the NME in the 7^th that confirms that these adjustments are necessary and will benefit you in the long run. This NME enhances your charisma in many ways.  There are a lot of communications that have to do with partnership funds and money from others.  You may find that there are new restrictions for you to deal with when it comes to work. AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 6^th house of work and/or health matters.  The aspects that are important are the inconjunct to transiting Pluto in the 12^th house of hidden matters or institutions asking for an adjustment in dealing with issues from behind the scenes.  Another strong aspect is Uranus in the 2^nd house of personal finances to transiting Pluto in the 12^th house of hidden matters.  There is no escape from this but along with it is a Uranus trine to the NME telling me that there is financial opportunity waiting in the wings. There are restrictions, but it’s not impossible.  You still don’t have all the answers, but they are getting closer.  This next six months will tell the tale.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  There is more to this 5^th house but I leave it to you to find out.  This NME forms an inconjunct aspect to transiting Pluto in your 11^th house of goals, hopes and wishes, asking you to make an adjustment in your goals.  At first this may seem difficult, but in reality, there is a trine from transiting Uranus that leads directly to the NME in the 5^th of children.  Uranus in your 1^st house is making a strong aspect to transiting Pluto forcing you to eliminate a certain goal.  Communication is rampant and discussions are opportunistic.   Venus is squaring Saturn making you feel isolated.  The solutions are there and they will be apparent. 

Ah, at last…the moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived, the coming together of Venus and Mars for a beautiful embrace in mystical Pisces, which are now set to enter fiery Aries…the sign famous for initiating new beginnings without much thought or foresight.  When Aries gets a hold of an idea, it wastes little time thinking about the “what if’s” before marching off to fulfill its innate instinct to initiate something new.   It’s all too easy to get caught up in the thrill of the moment and get carried away by all the enthusiasm generated by this dynamic sign.  Out of my own personal curiosity, I wanted to know the last time Venus and Mars traveled together through Aries.  To my surprise, it’s been 24 years!!!  You may be wondering why I’m even mentioning this when my article is entitled Mercury Retrograde…how are these two related, and what does one have to do with the other you ask?  Life is an unfolding process where everything is interconnected.  Like the signs of the zodiac…each evolves from the preceding sign before it until we reach the end.   The upcoming Mercury retrograde, which is set to begin May 7^th, is intimately linked to the recent Venus/Mars conjunction that occurred on April 22^nd because Mercury will retrograde all the way back to 22 degrees Taurus…the same degree he was at on April 22^nd.   The fact that Mercury will retrograde back to this point in time makes this retrograde significant and important.

I love how Venus and Mars made their conjunction at 29 degrees Pisces…the very last degree of the zodiac, the end of all things before moving in to Aries.  Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and represent new beginnings.  Aries is associated with the spring equinox, the time of year when life begins anew.  Nobody like endings, but it’s a necessary step in the process called life…we were asked to end something, or to let someone go because it wasn’t serving our highest good…yes it was painful, but no doubt necessary.   Try to see it this way…you wouldn’t plant a beautiful garden without first preparing the soil.  You gotta pull the weeds that are decaying and fermenting your life so that new seeds have a chance to take root and grow.  What did you eliminated from your life?  Was it a person, a relationship, or a job?  A self-defeating attitude or belief, or long held dream or vision?  Whatever you thought you lost will now be replaced with something completely wonderful.  When one door closes another one opens simultaneously, and once again you’ll have something new and exciting to look forward to.  I feel I need to warn you not to get too excited or carried away with all the exciting energy because Mercury is about to go retrograde on May 7^th,  giving us extra time to think about our new ideas before moving us forward to the future…which is a good thing because Aries can be impulsive. 

Mercury rules our mind, thoughts, conversations, messages, short distance travel, technology, electronics, planes, trains, and automobiles, contracts, education and learning, siblings, aunts and uncles, and neighbors.  When Mercury turns retrograde we usually experience a disruption or delay to the things mentioned above.  The word retro means to go back and redo and repeat something.  The best advice I can give you during this three week interval is to make allowances for and expect some interference with your plans.  Nothing should be set in stone just yet.  In fact, it’s recommended not to sign important documents or put your name on the dotted line.  Do not start anything new or make major purchases…especially with electronics.  If you’re traveling, allow for delays and cancelled flights…you may want to give yourself some extra time to get where you’re going because there’s sure to be traffic jams!!!  Be careful while driving too…Mars in Aries makes you more impatient, and with Mercury retrograde, that’s could be a recipe for road rage!!!

 Whenever a planet goes retrograde it brings up people, things, and situations from the past.  We get to go back and review or re-due situations that have already taken place.  Whatever comes up is usually something that was left unsaid or unfinished…whether it’s our thoughts about a particular person or situation, or something that was over looked in the past, Mercury retrograde gives us a chance to slow down and repair what’s needed before moving us forward.  

Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo…to know how this retrograde will affect you, look to see what houses have these two signs on the cusps…you’ll also want to know where Mercury is currently traveling to know what area of life all the action is taking place and where you’ll feel it most.   You’ll need to know your rising sign to find this.  One particular note I want to make is that Mercury will be going retrograde in the sign of Gemini, and will be changing signs as it goes all the way back to 22 degrees Taurus before turning direct.  This means we will change our mind about something.  Both Gemini and Virgo are mutable signs, meaning we should remain open and flexible for the time being.  As Mercury enters Taurus, we may become too fixed in our thoughts and ideas which isn’t a good thing right now especially where communicating with others is concerned.   It may also suggest whatever delays or obstacles we encounter; we will have the patience to see it through.

Here’s a little visual to summarize…Spring is finally here in all its glory!  We waited for what feels like eternity for its arrival and now that it’s here, you can’t wait to get started on making plans for your future.  It was a long winter for sure, which gave us a little extra time to see what needed to be released from our lives and preventing us from reaching our future destiny (Venus/Mars conjunction at 29 degrees Pisces…symbolizing the last day of winter).  Then on March 22^nd, Venus and Mars made a conjunction with Venus direct, symbolizing a new beginning…just in time for the spring equinox, coincidence???  Think of a garden…before you can think about what seeds to plant, you first had to take a closer look at the garden to see what needed eliminating.  It’s amazing how fast those pesky weeds grow!!!  Ok, so you pulled out the weeds and everything else that was rotting and decaying in preparation for your new garden…yes, it was a lot of work!!!  But, doesn’t it feel good to have all that hard work behind you now?  I don’t know about you, but I can hardly wait to visit my local nursery to buy new plants and flowers for my garden.  I have to admit though, there are times when I do things on a whim without putting much thought into them…I get this idea in my head and I just have to do it.  Sometimes I jump the gun a little too fast, and because I’m an Aries…prone to impulsiveness, I’m not always happy with the final outcome.  With Mercury going retrograde, we are given a little extra time to think about our garden and the seeds we want to sow before planting them into the soil where they will take root and grow.  So while you’re eager to plant those seeds, my best advice is to wait until Mercury turns direct on May 31^st before moving forward…chances are you’ll change your mind a million times over before finally settling on a plan or design that will truly make you happy.

Hi Friends, 

Mercury is still retrograde and has reentered Capricorn and goes direct Feb. 1^st, 2009 at 21 degrees of Capricorn.  Saturn is retrograde at 21 degrees of Virgo but quickly moves to 20 degrees.   Saturn and Uranus will be in opposition from Jan. 30^th to Feb. 11^th, 2009 but exact on Feb. 5^th.   Some patterns may arise that need to be redefined and /or changed.  This may not be easy and it may be happening to you and not by you.  Either way it will be better for you that the old ways leave and the new ones come in.  As this New Moon Eclipse slips into position you will notice that it is conjunct transiting Jupiter. This will be a powerful Solar Eclipse.  Jupiter conjunct the Sun and Moon, North node, Chiron and Neptune complete the planetary picture in Aquarius.  Aquarius is a fixed air sign and is ruled by Uranus, the planet of innovation, invention and the  unexpected.  New Moon Eclipses always bring in challenges and we are besieged by economic and national challenges.  This is a step in a new direction for all of us and with hope, hard work and honesty we will succeed.  I am writing this on Inauguration day and I am much moved by President Obama’s words.     In his speech he echoes the message of the New Moon Eclipse.  Rise up, take responsibility for yourself, and sacrifice for the future of our country so that our children and our children’s children will live a life of freedom and opportunity.  Wherever this Eclipse falls in your chart will be an awakening to what is ahead and will  tell us how to achieve our personal highest potential.  Jupiter will ensure this with expansion in this house.  There will be a journey from “what is” to “what is our personal goal.” The coming Full Moon Eclipse takes place in Leo at 20 degrees on Feb. 9^th 2009.

This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.  The addition of Jupiter conjunct this Eclipse expresses expansion and optimism in this area of your life.  Jupiter is also conjunct the Sun in Aquarius adding these qualities to the sign of Aquarius.   Your standing in the community and how the world sees you will be viewed in this next 6 months.  Expansion and innovation are keywords for this Eclipse.  There will be a challenge with this Eclipse but it may be more mental than physical.  There are plenty of challenges to go around so there will be no shortfall but optimism and inventiveness will serve you very well.  The Saturn Uranus opposition falls in your 11^th house of goals and opposes Saturn in the 5^th house of children and creativity and, least we not forget, love affairs.  There is a power that shakes your tree every so often and releases you from the shackles of the past.   This is one of those times.  This may not be easy and it may be happening to you and not by you.  Either way it will be better for you that the old ways leave and make room for some new ways that are a better expression of who you are today. This New Moon Eclipse takes place in your 12^th house of the past and behind the scenes activity.  If you have any secrets or plans you don’t want revealed, you are in for the bright light of clarity and exposure.  This Eclipse has Jupiter conjunct the Sun which will shine a spotlight on anything you have lurking behind the scenes or in the crevices of your life.  There are many more instances that this Eclipse can apply to that have to do with the 12^th house.  On Feb. 5^th, 2009 Uranus in your 1^st house of personality is in opposition to Saturn in the 7^th house of partnerships (business or personal.)  You have been feeling a little hemmed in of late because of new aspects of your personality emerging.  You may find yourself impatient with friends and lovers or with the general public. Seasons Greetings!

I am so thrilled with this Holiday season.  I feel like the President-Elect will have a big change in his effect on the politics of the day.  I did some research on the President-Elect’s Chart.  Do you realize that he will have a transiting Jupiter conjunct his natal Jupiter on his inauguration day?  Think about this for a moment…Jupiter is entering Aquarius….Idealistic, independent, always for the common good.  That’s a lot of what we like about him.  Maybe politics will return to be For the people and not To the people.   I am hopeful.  This Holiday Season is more and more heart warming as I immerse myself in the holiday spirit.   This season is promising to be a spectacular and a very loving event. I hope you share your holiday season with people you care about and love. I have a lot to say about this New Moon in Capricorn so I best get to it.

This New Moon is at 6 degrees of Capricorn and for all of us, the go-get-um spirit of Capricorn is not only around, it is permeating everything this next month.  Mars, Pluto, Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter are all in Capricorn.  Wow!  Mars is on a train in Capricorn and will make conjunctions to natal and transiting planets forming beginning cycles to each.  Mars conjunct Pluto on the 29^th of December ushers in some powerful energy.  Depending on where it lands in your chart will be the telling fact for all of us.  Then, just like clockwork, Mars will conjunct the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter.  The Moon will have moved too quickly to get caught by Mars.  These are all new beginnings…Mars will conjunct the New Moon Sun on January 4^th and 5^th of 2009 giving you boundless energy and the ambition of a mountain goat.  As I move forward to see Mar’s next conjunction to Mercury, I can see that Mercury will be going retrograde on the 10^th of January at 7 degrees of Aquarius. As it retrogrades, it goes back into Capricorn to make its conjunction to Mars in Capricorn on January 27^th, 2009.  This has the ring of a serious debate.  The Mercury retrograde continues until it turns direct at 21 degrees of Capricorn on February 2, 2009.  When there is a change, in sign there is usually a change in mind.   We will talk more about this in January.

Not only is there a Stellium in Capricorn, but there is an additional Stellium in Aquarius.  As I review the chart for this New Moon, one aspect in Aquarius stands out like a red light; that is on this New Moon, there is a Venus conjunct Neptune. This promises love, giving, romance and generally good feeling.  The negative part is the overdoing of a good thing.  As far as aspects go, Saturn is in a wide trine to Jupiter and still in opposition to Uranus.  Saturn is going retrograde on Jan. 31^st extending its stay at 21 degrees until summer. 

This next month will bring in a New Moon Eclipse on Jan. 28^th, 2009 at 6 degrees of Aquarius.  I will have more about this in the next installment. 

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.  There may be a situation that arises that involves career and it began around December 25^th and/or 26^th.  We all are aware that New Moons bring in a challenge that is usually fulfilled by the Full Moon, but in this case, you may find that this situation goes beyond the normal time limits and involves the Mercury retrograde and the New Moon Eclipse on Jan. 26^th.  Your Aries energy is high as this New Moon squares your Sun and puts you in a mood to fight for what you want or, at the very least, setting out on a relentless quest.  Pluto entering Capricorn, your 10^th house, transforms all your career moves from now on.  Stretch and grow Aries.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, education, philosophy and foreign affairs.  Mars transiting this house will be stirring up conditions and situations that will influence the next few months.  Your Sun or any planets you may have in Taurus will be in trine to this New Moon and form an ease in acquiring information you might need in the coming months.  The Mercury retrograde goes back to Capricorn in mid January revealing some undisclosed information. Flexibility is the keyword for you this month, Taurus.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon falls in your 8^th house of other people’s money, partnership finances, sex, death, and taxes.  The challenge here will definitely involve another person or persons.  Mortgages, loans, inheritance and money from partnerships  are sure to bring up conflicts.  Do not assume anything.  Be as focused as possible and read the fine print.  This New Moon is followed by a New Moon Eclipse that promises to involve the next 6 months. Go slow.

 CANCER-(June 21-July 22) 

This New Moon falls in your 7^th house of partnerships, business and/or personal.  Challenges that arise at this point will seem to create more obstacles.  Any planets you have in Cancer will be affected by this New Moon.  This will be an opposition to your natal planets bringing in some endings to certain cycles.  Mercury retrograde will lengthen the process until late February.  Pluto transiting Capricorn from here on will have a transformational power on all partnership issues. Try not to be reactionary.

Leo-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon falls in your 6^th house of everyday work and service to others. The challenges you face will be difficult to overlook even though you will try.  Conflicts with work issues arise even though you are in a positive stance for personal increase in monies.  If you have health issues, you will notice that the situation is not gloom and doom but a revelation of facts that support you in the coming months.  Be as flexible as possible.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children and creativity.  Virgo on the ascendant immediately reminds me that Saturn in transiting your 1^st house has an indelible mark on your personality. Taking that into consideration and the fact that Virgo trines Capricorn, your challenge cannot be measured in conflicts but in opportunities.  The 5^th house has plenty of fun opportunities.  The only issues that will continue to plague you in the coming months will be work issues and partnerships. Keep your eyes open for the opportunities.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon falls in your 4^th house of home, core issues, beginnings and endings.  The challenge comes from where your home or from the inner core of your being.  You will be asked to make some important changes that require you to stretch your knowledge base and grow in order to satisfy the powers that be.  Your home and inner self are about to become very important in the coming years: yes, years.  Pluto transiting through Capricorn will dictate your 4^th house future.  Any planets you have in Libra, Cancer, Aries and Capricorn will be personally affected. This New Moon is just the beginning.  Transformation is a reality.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communication and community.  The challenge here may come in thru communication with others or with family.  This has the ability to keep you involved in communications for a lengthy period of time. You may also find that it may feel like a power-play; however co-operation is the best way to prevent this.  Communications will be the area that is transformed by Pluto from now on and for some years to come.  You are still under the benefic ray of Uranus, so experiment!

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)  

This New Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  This becomes a new power point for your values. Pluto conjuncts Mars on this New Moon and ushers in new and powerful challenges in and around your values.  This New Moon and the Mercury retrograde will extend these issues for awhile.  Watch the 25^th, 26^th, 27^th  for interesting news about finances.  Saturn in Virgo in your 10^th house still persists in pushing you to outgrow your career base. Expect to be changed from the inside out.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and, with that, I give you Mars conjunct Pluto in your 1st house.  If you think you have been going thru changes lately, you are in for some very interesting years starting with this New Moon.  Situations will appear that have everything to do with how you appear to the world.  They will start to come about as I write.  Mars in the 1^st house moves you forward to increase your visibility and influence.  You will definitely make new moves and surprise yourself in the doing.  The Mercury retrograde is tied into this new Moon and the New Moon Eclipse of next month.  You are taking giant steps into the future.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 12^th house of the past, institutions, preparation and the subconscious.  This New Moon signals Mars and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn ushering in a transformation the likes of which you have never seen before.  This is the background of your life; what made you who you are.   This is the subconscious.  If you have any emotional baggage, it will not allow you to continue with it.  Pluto thru the 12^th opens up your psychic abilities and transforms your mind.  This will be exciting and challenging all at the same time. The Mercury retrograde lengthens this process thru the Eclipses.  So changes are coming mostly in how you think and deal with the past.

 PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in the 11^th house of hopes, goals and wishes.  Along with this New Moon, you will be ushering in Pluto to your 11^th house promising transformation of friends, your goals and desires.  The Mercury retrograde begins in this house. It will lengthen the time these issues are in affect and will also shadow the coming Eclipses.  This New Moon also offers Venus conjunct Neptune; it will be wish-fulfillment time. Transiting  Uranus, still in your first house opposing transiting Saturn, promises more lessons to be learned involving partnerships.
