Uranus in Pisces

Uranus, the planet of the eccentric, unexpected, emphasizing freedom and the uncommon, is not a subject to be taken lightly. This planet is seldom boring and awakens in us the need to be free to express ourselves in new and different ways. The Uranus cycle is 84 years in length. Its' transit through each sign averages 7 years. Before I go into the delineation of Uranus, I would like you to look at your chart to see where it is located. (Sign, House and Degree) This may seem inconsequential to you now, but once you realize the impact it makes in your natal configuration, the more you will understand how it will work in your chart. The aspects Uranus makes in the natal chart denotes how it will react to a transit. For instance, if your natal Uranus trines your natal Sun, than any transit from the Sun to Uranus will be harmonious, even a square or opposition. If the natal Uranus is in square at birth to the Sun, then any aspect from the Sun to Uranus will be more stressful, no matter what the aspect is that is applying. Uranus has been in Pisces since March of 2003. Pisces is a water sign ruled by Neptune. Uranus has possibly been confused or has confused many people because the sign of Neptune is so nebulous. Pisces represents a sensitive person who has a deep personal concern for himself or herself and others. Pisces is a service oriented sign and, most likely, serves the public. Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is the great illusionist. If you have the following degrees in a water sign Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces, Uranus will retrograde over the 22nd, 21st, 20th, 19th and 18th degree of Pisces promising an exciting or unexpected harmonious reaction. Uranus conjunct a planet in Pisces begins a cycle and sometimes exciting can be scary.

Uranus in Pisces in the 1st house signifies changes in a person’s physical appearance. Uranus going over the ascendant allows more freedom to the personality. Sudden and abrupt changes are dramatic for people going through this transit. It awakens you to a freer more spontaneous life. Restrictions and rules will be difficult to tolerate.

Uranus in Pisces in the 2nd house signifies unexpected money issues. Emergency repairs or unexpected expenses may be able to occur. Unexpected romance or unexpected loss of a romance can also happen depending on the aspect. Money, values and issues that deal with worthiness often express themselves during this transit.

Uranus in Pisces in the 8th house is the opposite of the 2nd and involves money from others or partnership money. The key words for the 8th house are sex, death and taxes.
Uranus can have the experience of gain or loss with any of the subjects of the 8th house. More importantly, it has the ability to go deeper into the subjects of sex, death and taxes because ultimately, this is the house that deals with the transformation we all face when we leave our earthly body.

Uranus in Pisces in the 9th house is opposite of the 3rd and involves philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs. Any one or all of these matters can be thought of as dealing with the higher mind. Writing and publishing are a constant of this house. Inspiration and unexpected insights can be a possible for Uranus in the 9th. If the aspect is stressful, or not, matters of this house can become flashes of insight or a memorable religious experience.

Uranus in Pisces in the 10th house is opposite of the 4th and involves career and the worlds perception of you. This is an angular house so it will be personal. This can be an unexpected change in career that sets you on a new path. It will involve serving others in some way because of the Pisces influence and position in the chart. Career opportunities can appear and disappear with a lighting flash and, voila, your life is changed. Uranus in the 10th can bring instant recognition for positive and negative results.

Uranus in Pisces in the 11th house revolves around your goals, hopes and wishes for the future. This is the opposite of the 5th and in that respect signifies the direction your creativity takes you. Insights are possible, as well as unexpected opportunities to either aid or detract from your goals. Friends can possibly leave your inner circle unexpectedly and new friends enter.
