We are on the precipice of a very unusual Eclipse pattern.  On July 7^th there will be a Full Moon Eclipse at 15 degrees of Capricorn followed by a New Moon Eclipse on July 22^nd, 2009 at 29degrees of Cancer.  Another Full Moon Eclipse follows on August 6^th, 2009.  We are entering a pattern of Eclipses that are not common; however, I have found that when there is more than a NME and FME, it translates into a change in our everyday patterns.  Look at your chart and find out what aspect the natal moon makes to natal Pluto.  This will show how stressful it will be. 

This NM is not part of the Eclipse trio but it does show up with a dynamic aspect of NM in opposition to transiting Pluto.  The NM enters with a challenge.  How you deal with this challenge expresses itself in the FME of July 7^th, 2009.  Take note that this NM is in a cardinal aspect to Pluto, which screams action.  (In my experience I have noted that 7 days after the NM is another day of action, then followed by the FM seven days later.) The days to watch will be June 22^nd, 2009, June 29^th, 2009 (the quarter moon is in Libra), followed by July 7^th, 2009 (the first FME at 15 degrees of Capricorn.) They are all Cardinal positions.

  This New Moon in Cancer at 1 degree is in opposition to transiting Pluto and starting this uncommon passage.  Cancer and Capricorn are Cardinal constellations.  They tell me that this aspect is decisional, directed and loaded with initiatory change.  That’s right; you will have a big part to play in the next month.  I like to think of this as telling us a story.  It is safe to say that Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are all direct.   Neptune and Pluto are retrograde and Jupiter is expected to follow on June 15^th, 2009.   This is a window of time where most of the planets are direct.  Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are still causing most of the ambient noise and distractions but your path forward starts to open.  Jupiter retrograde continues its association with Chiron and Neptune and continues keeping certain issues still nagging at you throughout this conjunction period.  Our only saving grace is that Jupiter will release its grip on this conjunction around July 23rd, 2009.  Below you will find the explanation of this New Moon in your chart.  Please read your rising sign as it will be more accurate to you personally.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon falls in your 4^th house of home and core issues and is in opposition to transiting Pluto in the 10^th house of career.   Changes seem to have developed leading up to this NM and now you are faced with changes that tempt your security.  Your Aries Sun will complete the challenge and you will be staring into the eyes of a7^th house matter.  (Partnerships, business and/or personal).  Pluto in the 10^th house always signifies transformation wherever it transits.  So expect a challenge from the 4^th house changing your current position in the world. This NM does have a Mars and Venus conjunction in your 2^nd house of love and values that trines Saturn in the 6^th house exactly.   Mercury is in square to Saturn confirming that you will be uncommonly busy.   This NM ushers in a challenge and you gallantly take up the gauntlet.    Your flag is flying high emblazoned with the crest of success, promising the potential for love and money. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communications and community and is in opposition to transiting Pluto in the 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters and foreign affairs. Pluto in the 9^th has the ability to transform all issues of the 9^th house in its transit.  This is a slow transit but it can be intense.   The NM is always a challenge, but in a Cardinal sign, it is a challenge you must take up.  Your sense of determination and steadfastness allows you the strength and fortitude to accomplish many things and in this instance, you are bracing yourself for the upcoming task at hand.  Venus and Mars are conjunct in your 1^st house of personality and form an exact trine to Saturn in the 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.   You will see that this is an opportunity in disguise.  Your true nature and attractiveness are highlighted, offering you an opportunity to reveal your genuineness to the world.  This is only the beginning; the rest of the story will unfold in its own time.  

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of values and personal finances and is in opposition to transiting Pluto in the 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes.  Pluto has a transformative power as it transits the 8^th house and along with the fact that it is the natural ruler of the 8^th house.  There is a financial challenge you are about to accept. This challenge has to do with things you hold dear or value.  The opposition indicates an ending to something and, in a Cardinal sign, an opportunity to initiate action.   These may have to do with money, especially money that you receive from others.   Some 5^th house matters may come into play as a lot of energy is building up in that area. (Children, creativity and love affairs.)  Mercury is in square to Saturn in the 4^th starts a discussion that requires planning and, possibly, budgeting.  Mars and Venus conjunct in the 12^th house of the past and behind the scenes activity offer a sort of sanctuary or haven for you to retreat to in case of overexposure to reality. 

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality.  It opposes transiting Pluto in your 7^th house of partnership and general public.  Not only is this a NM with a cardinal challenge, but it also takes place on the 4 most important angles of the chart.  The 1^st house, the 4^th house, the 7^th house and the 10^th house are all personal to you and involve you on a personal level.  In this case the 1^st house contains the NM and a personal challenge to transiting Pluto in your 7^th house of partnerships.  This indicates a change for you, personally, on all levels.  This indicates an ending or change that involves partnerships (business, personal or general public). From this day on the world will see you differently.  There is a wonderful grace aspect that involves Mars and Venus conjunct and in trine to transiting Saturn that brings you recognition and welcomed communications.  Try not to worry so much.  It all works out well.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 12^th house of the past, behind the scenes activity and the subconscious, and offers you a change in this area.  This NM is in a Cardinal sign and so is the transiting Pluto that is in opposition to this point.  This indicates a change that requires action on your part.  Your Leo rising gives you the countenance of a King or Queen and the regality to withstand any changes that appear before you.  This is not a surprise but not totally expected either.  It is time to communicate your plans and make plans that deal with finances and values.  Mars and Venus are in exact conjunction and trining Saturn in the 2^nd house of finances.  Opportunity is the name of this game; change and opportunity.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 11^th house of goals and group affiliations.   It also makes an opposition to transiting Pluto in the 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This NM brings in a change in this area; it may not be an easy change but it is an opportunity in disguise.  Saturn in your 1^st house of personality has been restructuring you, personally, and is offering you an opportunity  direct from the planet Mars and Venus in your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters and foreign affairs.  This makes any change that you have to make very palatable.  Mercury in square to Saturn in your 1^st emanating from the 10^th asks you to make a plan and get busy.  This has been challenging just rediscovering the new you and it aint over till the fat lady sings.   Gear up for the next 6 months because many ambitions come to fruition.

 LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community in opposition to transiting Pluto in the 4^th house of home.   Look for changes emanating from the home and career in the next couple of weeks.  Transiting Pluto in the 4^th house indicates that core issues and beliefs will be challenged in the coming years.  There is a Mars Venus conjunction that sits in your 8^th house of partnership resources and trines Saturn in the 12^th house of the past and behind the scenes activity.  This trine will be opportunistic for you in terms of money from others and situations that arise behind the scenes or from 12^th house matters. There is a lot of thinking and planning happening wherever you are and wherever you go.   I can promise you that you will be busy, busy and busy in the coming two months.  There are changes to deal with but the focus is in getting rid of old unnecessary emotional baggage.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters and foreign affairs and makes an opposition aspect to transiting Pluto in the 3^rd house of communications and community.  This is a strong aspect and cardinal in nature so changes will abound. Pluto will be transiting your 3^rd house of communications and community for quite a few years.  The promise is to transform your communications and community, including your relationships with brothers and sisters. Now I know changes are not your cup of tea but sometimes they happen for a reason and, after all is over and done, you will be glad they happened.  Your nature is sensitive but not changeable.   You are cautious and worried but never looking forward to unexpected changes.  There is a Mars Venus conjunction in your 7^th house that makes a glorious trine to Saturn in the 11th house of goals.  Imagine your goals as ripe cherries for the picking on the golden tree of life.  Planning and communications are about to take center stage. 

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes.   It forms an opposition aspect to transiting Pluto in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values. This Pluto transit through your 2^nd house will definitely becoming more and more important in the coming years. It promises transformation in values and finances.  Interesting, eh! These planets are in Cardinal signs and signify a strong change is about to take place or already has in the last week or so.  This will have to do with resources that are available to you and some that are not available yet.  There is a wonderful Mars Venus conjunction in your 6^th house of everyday work that trines Saturn in your 10^th house of career.  Positive options appear to be available to you through your work.     Mercury is diligently making plans with and about partnerships. Your carefree sense of freedom may be nipped in the bud around this time as you will be taking more things under consideration with all your decisions.  Communications can blur your decisions so be aware.  It’s time to step up to the plate and make some dreams come true.

 CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships, either business or personal.  It makes an aspect to transiting Pluto in the 1^st house of personality.  With Pluto in this position you are finding that there is little need to hide your personal feelings under a basket.  As a matter of fact, it will be impossible for you not to engage your feelings of personal power.  Pluto in the 1^st house has a way of intensifying your personality and any new ability that you recognize in yourself.  Pluto in the 1^st house also puts the spotlight on you.  This NM in the 7^th brings in a challenge from partnerships.  You are wonderfully manipulative at this time and are not even aware of it.  Step back and try to see your life from a different vantage point.  Try to see the whole forest and not just the tree in front of you.  There is a wonderful trine from Mars and Venus in your 5^th house to Saturn in the 9^th house of legal matters, foreign affairs, philosophy and higher education.  Opportunities fall in your lap from 5^th house issues.  You may be getting ready for a vacation.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  It forms a direct opposition to transiting Pluto in the 12^th house of the past, institutions and the subconscious.  Pluto transiting the 12^th house will get rid of all of the emotional baggage you carry about with you.  It may take awhile but it is thorough.  The NM in this position offers you a challenge from your everyday work or from a health matter.  The challenge may involve old preconceived ideas that don’t allow you to perform as well as you could or a health matter may show up that needs attention.  Mars and Venus conjunct in your 4^th house of home trine Saturn in the 8^th of other people’s money.  (A wonderful aspect for money from others.)   The trio of Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in your 1^st house may hinder you from seeing things clearly.  There may be some pie in the sky expectations that need to be harnessed. 

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs. It forms an opposition aspect to Pluto in the 11^th house of goals.  If you haven’t noticed by now, Pluto transiting the 11^th house will transform your goals, friends and group affiliation during its transit.  The challenge comes from the 5^th house and indicates that you are about to make a decision about 5^th house matters.  The conflict arises when these changes seem to be uncomfortable in terms of where you are going.  There is a wonderful trine from Mars and Venus in your 3^rd house of communications and community that trines Saturn in the 7^th house of partnership promising dealing with the public will definitely be a plus during this time.  Mercury in your 4^th house of home is keeping you hopping with making plans that include partners.  This is a peak point so enjoy yourself.

As we look at the beginning of June, it is safe to say that Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are all direct.   Neptune and Pluto are retrograde and Jupiter is expected to follow on June 15^th, 2009.   This is a perfect time to start whatever has been pending or whatever you want to begin.  This is a window of time where most of the planets are direct.  Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are still causing most of the ambient noise and distractions but your path forward starts to open.  Jupiter retrograde continues its association with Chiron and Neptune and continues keeping certain issues still nagging at you throughout this conjunction period.  This unknowing stays with us well into February 0f 2010.  Our only saving grace is that Jupiter will release its grip on this conjunction around July 23rd, 2009.   All of these planets have been in square to retrograde Mercury and are still in square to Mercury direct even thru this FM.  At this point in everyone’s life there are issues that cannot be concluded and that you feel are totally out of your control. These issues will continue to be unresolved for a time but we must try to accept the status quo and live within the boundaries we have set up for ourselves.   If you have other means of enduring the unknown energize them.  Enough about unknowns, let’s get into the known.

This Full Moon contains a Mutable T square with the Moon at 17 degrees of Sag, Saturn at 15degrees of Virgo and the Sun at 17degrees of Gemini.  The energy from this T- square empties into the house that holds 17 degrees of Pisces.  So take your chart in hand and locate the house that holds the FM, as this is where the changes will take place;  however, the focus will be from the house that holds 17 degrees of Pisces.   We continue to experience the trio of unknowns looming over our heads like grey rain clouds and, of course, still in square to Mercury giving us plenty to talk about.  On the brighter side there is a trine aspect from Mars and Venus to Pluto that gives us something to feel good about.

The trios of unknowns are still hovering but you are learning to live with it. Uranus is in good aspect to Mercury opening the doors to unexpected communications.  Venus and Mars are in trine to Pluto in the 10^th house promising the potential for love and money. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership finances and other people’s money.  It forms a mutable T-square to the current transiting Saturn in your 5^th house of children and creativity and the Sun in your 2^nd house of values and love. (Changes) The most important note is that all of the energy of this T-square empties out into your 11^th house of goals.  Think changes in financial goals.  Mars and Venus are in your 1^st house amplifying your charisma by trining Pluto in the 9^th house.  There is a great aspect between Uranus and Mercury making communications a reliable resource.  There are still dark clouds in the career area of your chart but resist the urge to dwell on the unknown.

This Full Moon takes place in your 5^th house of creativity, children and love affairs.  It also forms a Mutable T-square to Saturn in your 2^nd house of values and the Sun in your 11^th house of goals.  The energy from this T-square empties into the 8^th house of partnership finances, other people’s money, sex, death and taxes.  This will be the area that requires the most attention and will express the FM in your 5^th house.   Think of your money needs.  Partnership issues are still in a state of confusion and the resolutions are not forthcoming yet.  Venus and Mars are in excellent aspect to Pluto in your 6^th house providing praise and applause.  Communications are at a high and unexpected developments arise spontaneously.

 VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  It forms a Mutable T-square to transiting Saturn in the 1^st house of personality and the Sun in the 10^th house of career. This combination releases all of its energy into the 7^th house of partnerships.  Think changes in the home due to partnerships.  (Business or personal)  This is important as these are angular houses and changes that take place in theses houses are always of a personal nature.  The ungainly trio of chaos still looms in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  Saturn in your 1^st house is going direct completing issues that you have been trying to attain for the last 9 months.  Venus and Mars in your 9^th house are trining your transiting Pluto in the 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  There are good times on your agenda. 

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, higher education, foreign affairs and legal matters.  The most important thing to acknowledge in this set up is that the planets involved in this Mutable T-square are primarily mental houses and secondly, tertiary houses. This tells me that these changes of the current FM involve you on a personal level; however, think of these as changes due to revamped priorities or ideas.  This is a time to get rid of all the old emotional baggage that we take with us on our continuing journey through life.  The changes that take place in the 3^rd house have to do with communications and your current work and living environment.  Think changes in your neighborhood or in the work place.  Children, creative endeavors and romance still have some unresolved issues that need to be explored.  Try to look ahead without letting go of the moment.

 SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal values, personal finances and love.  There is a basic change that takes place deep inside you on your level of values.  This Mutable T-square involves the 2^nd house of values, the 11^th house of goals, and the 8^th house of partnership finances, etc. etc.  The energy of these three houses empties into the 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  You may be thinking that you are not being appreciated or not respected by children or the people closest to you.  This can be a hurtful thing to deal with and find a sense of peace.  You may be spending money on children or close relationships. The best option yet is that you are in Vegas spending lots of money and having a ball.  All three are possible. You get to pick.  Some home issues are still looming in a dark cloud overshadowing your mental Vegas escape.  Venus and Mars are sending you complimentary and interesting communications.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Full Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and how people see you.  This is also the area to look for any kind of travel and movement personal to you.  Since this FM takes place in the 1^st house, you are guaranteed a lot of movement.  The Mutable T-square involves the 1^st house, the 10^th house of career and the 7^th house of partnership (Business or personal).  The energy from these planets all empty into the 4^th house of home making  the 4^th house a focal point in this FM.  You may very well be traveling because of home or deeper issues of the 4^th house.  These changes carry some benefits for you.  Communications with children and/or lovers tend to hide some issues that need to be seen in the light of day.  Mars and Venus in your 6^th house of everyday work and health seem to be showering you with accolades and financial appreciation.

 CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12^th house of hidden matters, the subconscious, the past.  The Mutable T-square involves Saturn in the 9^th house of legal matters, higher education, foreign affairs and philosophy and the 6^th house of everyday work and health and, of course, the FM in the 12^th house.  This is a lot of energy but I feel that it is ethereal energy.  What I mean by that is that it seem s to all take place on a mental or emotional plane.  The changes take place in the background of your life, or subconscious and focus on family members or communications.  Just the fact that Saturn squares the Moon during this FM makes me uncomfortable. Issues that deal with children and love affairs are pleasantly laid in your lap.  Financial issues are still hovering and causing some background anxiety. 

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 11^th house of goals.  The Mutable T-square  of Saturn in the 8^th house of partnership funds, the Sun in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs and the FM in the 11^th house combine their energy and direct it to the unoccupied 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  Your personal finances hold the key to a change in your goals.  New developments cause you to change direction.  There are some goals that you have been working on for awhile that have been slow to show up on the positive side of life’s ledger or garner any financial sympathy.  Things will be changing, as will your attitude.  You are in a funk and don’t know how to escape.  You are talking a lot about the future but there are many questions that go unanswered.  Venus and Mars provide you with some respite from the outside world.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career.  The Mutable T-square involved in this FM brings changes to your 10^th house because that is where the FM takes place, but in reality, it produces some movement on a personal level also.  Saturn in the 7^th house of partnerships puts the focus on you and your personality.  You may feel as if you are receiving more attention than you have had in the past and you are right.  This is all about you, your career and the choices you have made in the last two years.  Communications bring some desired focus on your goals and offer interesting pathways to travel.  Expect the unexpected and run with it.   The cosmic trio secluded in your 12^th house constantly reminds you of the looming unanswered questions.  Life is good and you will survive.

We are all looking forward to the results of Saturn direct.   What have you learned in the last 5 months?  It has been tumultuous for some of us.  This last Full Moon has left you with a direction.  Maybe not the one you wanted but definitely a way for you to proceed.  You can think of it this way.  Last September you were on your way somewhere with a direction in mind.  Now you are at the same position but you are free of the obstructions that were not working for you.  This may or may not be what you wanted but it is reality.   The genius of the Saturn direct is that in the next 4 months you will make definite headway in your life. Let me digress for a moment. The next cycle contains a change in signs for Saturn and with that a specific course of aspects come into play.  The last 6 months of the Saturn in Virgo cycle is the most important to us.  This is a culmination of the last 2 years.  What you were seeking then is on the current horizon now.  As Saturn moves into Libra, we will have a distinct change in energy.  We will go from dealing with changes to initiating the changes we desire.  Libra is a Cardinal Air Sign and whatever house it is in is where you will spend the next 2 ½ years redefining.  So much for dealing with Saturn.

This New Moon takes place in the sign of Gemini at 3 degrees.  The chart for this New Moon holds a couple of interesting aspects.  This New Moon is in a 150 degree aspect to Pluto.  This is called an inconjunct.    Inconjuncts between any two planets cause some adjustment in the houses they occupy.  In this instance it is part of a New Moon promising to linger until after the Full Moon next month.  Mercury is in square to Chiron, Jupiter and Neptune of which all three are conjunct.  This is a perfect example of chaos. This is definitely very meaningful for you if you have planets or points at 26 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio or Taurus.  Gemini is the planet of duality.  It is very changeable and with an inconjunct to Pluto, there is a certain major adjustment that is taking place in your life.  We are all making this adjustment, just in different areas of our lives.   

As we move into the summer, Mercury is retrograde in Taurus and you will find yourself back in that practical frame of mind.  You will be tying up loose ends and making your life a bit more comfortable.  Mercury in Taurus is in trine to Saturn in Virgo so it has to be something you’ve wanted to do.  Mercury goes direct on May 31, clearing the path for Mercury in Gemini.  Where is Taurus in your chart?  That’s where Mercury is establishing some continuity.

Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron are conjunct in Aquarius.  These three planets together form an uncomfortable trio.  Jupiter, the planet of expansion; Chiron, the asteroid of the wounded healer; and Neptune the planet of illusion and delusion all joined together to square Mercury.   There are a lot of unknowns bouncing around and your desire to be perfect feels conflicted.  I think you will find that this is all part of working thru a certain situation.  Ease up….watch it work out, don’t help it work out.

The Sun Moon conjunction is at 3 degrees of Gemini establishing a new water mark on your chart. 

Uranus is at 26 degrees of Pisces and 30 degrees away from our trio of bouncing unknowns.  This is called a combust aspect and acts as a conjunction.  So now we have the trio of bouncing unknowns conjunct an unexpected event.  This I have to see!  

I think I’m having some fun with words.  I have dissected the New Moon and its aspects on a general forum so I will now do your individual rising signs.

This New Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communication and community.  You may notice that there is a major adjustment taking place very close to home base, as the NM inconjuncts transiting Pluto in your 10^th house of career. These changes prove to be very important to you as they are personal challenges to your career and standing in the community.  There is a trio of transiting planets that are perfecting the meaning of chaos.  Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are conjunct and in square to Mercury.  Luckily, Mercury is back in Taurus trining Saturn so untangling this web of inconsistencies is going to be your main focus.  This is not something that you can dismiss in a day or a week.  It will stick around till the end of the month or longer.  Mercury retrograde in Taurus is communicating some concerns about money or values and trying to dispel any negative unknowns.  Saturn in your 6^th house continues on its direct journey to redefine your 6^th house of work and health. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values and makes an inconjunct to your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and education.  This constitutes a major adjustment in your values and in the things that you hold dear.  This is an important time for you to realize what is important to you and how you have to adjust your current philosophy to accommodate your new ideas.  Saturn, is direct in Virgo, making this a very comfortable adjustment.  Mercury is retrograde in your 2^nd house of finances and values and probably causing you undue amounts of anxiety because of bouncing trio of unknowns.  It all works out well for you, my Earth Angel.

 GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and how people see you.  You have Pluto transiting your 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes and in an inconjunct aspect to this New Moon.  There are issues here that are signifying a change deep within you, engaging your beliefs with partnership finances, mortality and money from others.  Quite a range, but if you look closely they all boil down to the same thing, an adjustment in the money that you receive from others. What you give for what you get.  Mercury is still retrograde and will delay things for a bit.  Saturn is direct and solidifying core issues in your belief system.  Your major question is always, “Is this what I really want?”

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 12^th house of past, behind-the- scenes activity and institutions.   It is in aspect to Pluto in your 7^th house of partnership, promising a major adjustment is in the making when it comes to partnerships, either business or personal. This can be a very sensitive time for you and your sensitivity is showing. Saturn is direct and continuing its journey thru your 3^rd house of communications and community redefining relations with your neighbors and close relatives.  Mercury is retrograde in Taurus your 11^th house of goals trying to clear up any misgivings or bothersome unknowns in this area of your life.

 LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 11^th house of goals, hopes and wishes.   The inconjunct aspect between the New Moon and Pluto signals some important adjustments that have to be made within your work environment or with health issues.  You are in a process that requires your clear attention and ability to distinguish the real issues from the pie-in- the sky dreams.   Saturn in your 2^nd house of personal money and values has been under redefinition for awhile and the lessons you have learned have not been easy.  Take heart, you are a better person for what you have learned.  Mercury retrograde in your 10^th house brings back practicality to your career life and goals.  Partnership issues seem to only provide you with more questions.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.  The inconjuct aspect between the New Moon and Pluto in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs can prove to be problematic.  There is an adjustment about to take place and the indication is that it will work better for you.

Saturn in your 1^st house going direct in your 1^st house of personality has not been the most comfortable ride in the amusement park.  If anything, it has had its moments of total fear.  It’s not so easy to create the new you.  Communications don’t offer a lot of consolation at this point but they do help you to work things thru.  You are in a process. 

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and education and forms an inconjunct aspect to Pluto transiting your 4^th house of home and core issues.   You have been called upon to change some of your core beliefs; this adjustment is necessary and will open you more to life than you know. You are in a process of recognizing your value and worth as an individual.  Core issues are changing as is your philosophy dealing with self worth.  There are many things you may be talking about but nothing seems to have the answers you can count on.  You are on the right track.  Mercury retrograde will impart practical and useful ideas into the mix but it definitely delays the outcome.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership funds, sex, death and taxes bringing new dimensions to your Scorpio intensity.  The inconjunct between the New Moon in your 8^th house and transiting Pluto informs you of a pending adjustment that has to be made in your 3^rd house of communications and community.  This can be a negotiation or some type of movement.  The  object of this aspect involves your  home issues or work issues. This is about money, just not your money.  There seem to be a lot of unknowns and creative ideas circling around but none you feel comfortable with yet.  This is a time of discovery and there is no way to rush it.   Ride the wave and see where it takes you.  Uranus in your 5^th house of creativity is combust or 30 degrees from our trio of Neptune, Jupiter and Chiron in the 4^th house of home and core issues bringing in expectation, excitement and the unexpected to your home.  You will love it.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships, either business or personal.  The major aspect that this New Moon involves is an inconjunct to transiting Pluto in your 2^nd house of personal money and values.  Inconjuncts, invariably always initiate some form of adjustment.  If we look at the houses involved, we see that the adjustment deals with partnerships or dealing with the public and personal values.   Like all adjustments they are not accomplished in a day so this may take a bit of time.  There are still a lot of unknowns to deal with and try to put into some kind of order.  It’s like trying to unknot all the wires hidden behind your desk.  There is a lot of fun attached to the coming month.  Take your time and enjoy.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  You may be reluctant to make any permanent decisions until all the facts are in but this is definitely a time for major adjustments in your everyday work and health and your presentation to the world.  This is a time for practical thinking, of which Mercury retrograde in Taurus will be of a great advantage.  If you are not a patient person, here is your time to present that part of you.  Finances are a major concern as concrete facts are not available at this time.   Communications play a major role in trying to communicate your dilemma. Unexpected communications and concerns seem to control the oxygen content available to you at any given time.  This is a process and you need to trust the path.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This N M makes an inconjuct aspect to transiting Pluto in your 12^th house of the past and behind-the-scenes activity.  There is a major adjustment taking place between these two alignments.  Many 12^th house issues are hard to interpret because they take up residence in the recesses of your life.  The adjustment may have to do with children, or any creative element in your life.  What we know for sure is that your thinking will be involved and that the adjustment takes place in the background of your life.  There are other things that are of great concern and that is the trio of planets that inhabit your first house of personality, Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune a threesome of chaotic intent.  These three planets will lead you down a primrose path or deliver you into the depths of confusion.  Communication does help and will make things clearer in time. 

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and signals that an adjustment must be made to your current goals.  Home and core issues are the focal point of this inconjunct aspect between the New Moon and your current goals.  You will be asked to make an adjustment and you will see the writing on the wall.   The prospect of a life changing event is possible but not in the way that you expect.  There is a trio of planets in your 12^th house that takes you on a fantasy voyage and then let you languish in the reality of the present.  For some of us this can be interesting, and for others a constant skinny dip into the lake of the unknown.   Try to stay centered;  go for concrete ideas and avoid the trip to la la land.

I am looking outside and the thermometer reads 40 degrees.  Is it possible that this is summer?  I will not be able to plant my tomatoes until it is at least 50 degrees in the evening consistently.  I do love my home grown tomatoes.   Umm-mm

I am looking at this Full Moon as something that brings about change.    If you look back at the Eclipse of Feb. 9^th, 2009, the Full Moon Eclipse was at 20 degrees of Leo.   Where does this point fall in your chart?  This area was a major concern at that time.  Each house has a multitude of areas that it governs.   As a Libra rising, it landed in my 11^th house of goals and, if I remember correctly, I was very concerned about the direction of my web site.  I am sure that the listing below will help you determine where the challenges were for you in February.  This last month brought the beginnings of your current Eclipse turning point.  The majestic aspects that come with this Full Moon are all about deep change.  If you look back at February 2009, the FM Eclipse took place in Leo at 20 degrees.  The following list is to help you remember what was challenging you at the time.  This is the area of your life where the Full Moon Eclipse took place.

I am listing these rising signs and where Leo landed in your chart at the February 9^th Eclipse.  This is only correct if you have no interceptions in your chart.  If you do have interceptions, you will have to adjust the house position.  I want to jog your memory and bring the essence of that February 9^th into your consciousness for a bit of show and tell.

Now that you know what you were thinking and worrying about then, you can see the natural progression that has been achieved since then.  This Full Moon is at 18 degrees of Scorpio in opposition to the Sun culminating issues from the last 3 weeks and energizing the square aspect it makes to last February’s Eclipse point of 20 degrees of Leo.  The other aspects in this Full Moon chart are direct squares to Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune from the Full Moon completing a Grand Fixed T square. This in itself promises to be a life changer.  Adding to this is a trine from the Sun to Saturn promising added stability and the Full Moon in trine to Uranus bringing about unexpected realizations.  This scenario seems to indicate a stepping stone in personal evolution.  

I know you have read Catherine Schultz’s articles and love them as much as I do.  This week she has an article on the Mercury retrograde that informs and entertains.  She is technically correct in her summation of the Mercury retrograde and is able to accomplish this with a distinct ability to carry us off on her personal astrological adventure.  

Speaking of the Mercury retrograde that seems to be happening on May 7^th, 2009….  Just a note…in and around May 7^th, you will notice things seem to go awry.  Mainly, you will need more information before you are allowed to complete some issues.

This Full Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of community and communications bringing certain issues that began 3 weeks ago to a completion.  Negotiations seem to have taken a major role in the last 4 months as the FM Eclipse of Feb. 9^th  took place in your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity setting some behind-the-scenes challenges.   With this Full Moon taking place in your 3^rd house contracts and communication have reached a new point of understanding.  The Sun in the 9^th house trines Saturn in the 1^st letting you know that stability is not lost.  This Full Moon is in trine to Uranus in the 7^th indicating unexpected but possible new partnerships.  Mercury will be going retrograde in your 10^th delaying some career opportunities until later.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

 This Full Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  There are definite changes in your finances and but the usual fanaticism is absent from your demeanor.  This FM forms a Grande Fixed Cross with the February Eclipse point and makes some deliberate changes in your attitude.  I seem to be talking about finances and I do believe that people will experience this turning point more on a financial level but there will be other options.  This is all about where you are going in life and the new world that is slowly opening up to you.  This FM trines Uranus in the 6^th and brings in unexpected opportunity in your everyday work area.  The Sun forms a trine to Saturn in your 12^th house opening the door to your subconscious and performing feats of brilliance with your deep-seated fears.  Mercury is going retrograde in your 9^th house delaying education issues and contracts until a later date.

This Full Moon takes place in your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity bringing to completion some issues that you have been dealing with for the last 3 weeks.  In the process you will notice that this Full Moon creates a Grand Fixed Cross with the February 9^th, Eclipse point.  The houses that are affected are the 12^th, 6^th, 3^rd and 9^th.  The main challenge comes from the 9^th house of legal matters, foreign affairs and philosophy where the original FM Eclipse took place.  This is the turning point to that time and now you know where all the chips are going to land.  They may not have landed yet but they will.  The Sun is in trine aspect to Saturn in the 10^th and gives stability to career plans.  The FM is in trine aspect to Uranus in the 4^th house ushering in some truly deserved celebrations.  Mercury is going retrograde in the 7^th house of partnerships and indicates some disruptions in dealing with partnership issues.

This Full Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.  Changes that deal with career are apt to change a bit with this Full Moon, but in the larger picture,  it completes a challenge from the February Eclipse point of 20 degrees of Leo that landed in your 7^th house of partnerships.  There are many things that have come before you and now some important issues have finally made their way into your life.  There has been a lot of expansion for you so far and it continues.  My only suggestion would be to not be blinded by unproved schemes of financial success.  The FM has a trine aspect to Uranus in your 2^nd house of personal finances with visions of sugar plums wrapped in dollar bills. The Sun is in trine aspect to Saturn in the 8^th house reassuring you about money from others.  Mercury is going retrograde in Gemini your 5^th house of creativity, children and love affairs.  Some of these issues may be delayed for awhile.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education.   There are definite changes here.  If we look at the larger picture, you will see that this Full Moon is in square to the FM Eclipse of February 9, 2009.  Together they form a Grand Fixed Cross promising changes that you will not be able to escape from.  The original FM Eclipse of Feb. 9^th delivered challenges to you with regard to the 6^th house of everyday work and health.  This FM brings in new events and situations that release you from the stranglehold of a past situation.  Your eyes are open now and the future is different.  The changes are in your perception of reality.  The Sun forms a trine to Saturn in the 7^th house of partnerships and it promotes stability there.  The FM forms a trine aspect to Uranus in your 1^st house of personality offering you the ability to see things in your life as exciting gifts.  Mercury is going retrograde in your 4^th house so get ready for some delays in home and core issues.

Ah, at last…the moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived, the coming together of Venus and Mars for a beautiful embrace in mystical Pisces, which are now set to enter fiery Aries…the sign famous for initiating new beginnings without much thought or foresight.  When Aries gets a hold of an idea, it wastes little time thinking about the “what if’s” before marching off to fulfill its innate instinct to initiate something new.   It’s all too easy to get caught up in the thrill of the moment and get carried away by all the enthusiasm generated by this dynamic sign.  Out of my own personal curiosity, I wanted to know the last time Venus and Mars traveled together through Aries.  To my surprise, it’s been 24 years!!!  You may be wondering why I’m even mentioning this when my article is entitled Mercury Retrograde…how are these two related, and what does one have to do with the other you ask?  Life is an unfolding process where everything is interconnected.  Like the signs of the zodiac…each evolves from the preceding sign before it until we reach the end.   The upcoming Mercury retrograde, which is set to begin May 7^th, is intimately linked to the recent Venus/Mars conjunction that occurred on April 22^nd because Mercury will retrograde all the way back to 22 degrees Taurus…the same degree he was at on April 22^nd.   The fact that Mercury will retrograde back to this point in time makes this retrograde significant and important.

I love how Venus and Mars made their conjunction at 29 degrees Pisces…the very last degree of the zodiac, the end of all things before moving in to Aries.  Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and represent new beginnings.  Aries is associated with the spring equinox, the time of year when life begins anew.  Nobody like endings, but it’s a necessary step in the process called life…we were asked to end something, or to let someone go because it wasn’t serving our highest good…yes it was painful, but no doubt necessary.   Try to see it this way…you wouldn’t plant a beautiful garden without first preparing the soil.  You gotta pull the weeds that are decaying and fermenting your life so that new seeds have a chance to take root and grow.  What did you eliminated from your life?  Was it a person, a relationship, or a job?  A self-defeating attitude or belief, or long held dream or vision?  Whatever you thought you lost will now be replaced with something completely wonderful.  When one door closes another one opens simultaneously, and once again you’ll have something new and exciting to look forward to.  I feel I need to warn you not to get too excited or carried away with all the exciting energy because Mercury is about to go retrograde on May 7^th,  giving us extra time to think about our new ideas before moving us forward to the future…which is a good thing because Aries can be impulsive. 

Mercury rules our mind, thoughts, conversations, messages, short distance travel, technology, electronics, planes, trains, and automobiles, contracts, education and learning, siblings, aunts and uncles, and neighbors.  When Mercury turns retrograde we usually experience a disruption or delay to the things mentioned above.  The word retro means to go back and redo and repeat something.  The best advice I can give you during this three week interval is to make allowances for and expect some interference with your plans.  Nothing should be set in stone just yet.  In fact, it’s recommended not to sign important documents or put your name on the dotted line.  Do not start anything new or make major purchases…especially with electronics.  If you’re traveling, allow for delays and cancelled flights…you may want to give yourself some extra time to get where you’re going because there’s sure to be traffic jams!!!  Be careful while driving too…Mars in Aries makes you more impatient, and with Mercury retrograde, that’s could be a recipe for road rage!!!

 Whenever a planet goes retrograde it brings up people, things, and situations from the past.  We get to go back and review or re-due situations that have already taken place.  Whatever comes up is usually something that was left unsaid or unfinished…whether it’s our thoughts about a particular person or situation, or something that was over looked in the past, Mercury retrograde gives us a chance to slow down and repair what’s needed before moving us forward.  

Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo…to know how this retrograde will affect you, look to see what houses have these two signs on the cusps…you’ll also want to know where Mercury is currently traveling to know what area of life all the action is taking place and where you’ll feel it most.   You’ll need to know your rising sign to find this.  One particular note I want to make is that Mercury will be going retrograde in the sign of Gemini, and will be changing signs as it goes all the way back to 22 degrees Taurus before turning direct.  This means we will change our mind about something.  Both Gemini and Virgo are mutable signs, meaning we should remain open and flexible for the time being.  As Mercury enters Taurus, we may become too fixed in our thoughts and ideas which isn’t a good thing right now especially where communicating with others is concerned.   It may also suggest whatever delays or obstacles we encounter; we will have the patience to see it through.

Here’s a little visual to summarize…Spring is finally here in all its glory!  We waited for what feels like eternity for its arrival and now that it’s here, you can’t wait to get started on making plans for your future.  It was a long winter for sure, which gave us a little extra time to see what needed to be released from our lives and preventing us from reaching our future destiny (Venus/Mars conjunction at 29 degrees Pisces…symbolizing the last day of winter).  Then on March 22^nd, Venus and Mars made a conjunction with Venus direct, symbolizing a new beginning…just in time for the spring equinox, coincidence???  Think of a garden…before you can think about what seeds to plant, you first had to take a closer look at the garden to see what needed eliminating.  It’s amazing how fast those pesky weeds grow!!!  Ok, so you pulled out the weeds and everything else that was rotting and decaying in preparation for your new garden…yes, it was a lot of work!!!  But, doesn’t it feel good to have all that hard work behind you now?  I don’t know about you, but I can hardly wait to visit my local nursery to buy new plants and flowers for my garden.  I have to admit though, there are times when I do things on a whim without putting much thought into them…I get this idea in my head and I just have to do it.  Sometimes I jump the gun a little too fast, and because I’m an Aries…prone to impulsiveness, I’m not always happy with the final outcome.  With Mercury going retrograde, we are given a little extra time to think about our garden and the seeds we want to sow before planting them into the soil where they will take root and grow.  So while you’re eager to plant those seeds, my best advice is to wait until Mercury turns direct on May 31^st before moving forward…chances are you’ll change your mind a million times over before finally settling on a plan or design that will truly make you happy.

I am looking at Venus.  She has been at 29 degrees of Pisces since April 12^th, 2009 and continues to be at 29 degrees until April 24^th, 2009.  If you have any planets at this placement or at 29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo, this last 6 weeks has been monumental for you.   During this period Venus has gone stationary direct and is about to conjunct with Mars on April 22^nd, 2009.  This Venus retrograde has accomplished one important thing and that is to catch up to Mars.  They are now in sync making relationship issues will be more realistic.  This conjunction also indicates a beginning cycle for Mars and Venus.   What house does Venus rule in your chart? What houses does Mars rule?  These are the areas that will be important in this coming Mars Venus cycle.  

Following this conjunction there is a New Moon in Taurus at 5 degrees.  This New Moon is the square to the eclipse on January 26^th at 6 degrees of Aquarius.   I seem to hear a murmur from the masses asking, “What does this mean?”  Go back in your mind to the end of January, especially on or around the 26^th and take notice of your ideas or immediate dilemmas of that time.   What was it that you wanted to accomplish, complete or undertake?  By the Full Moon on May 9^th you will have reached a turning point in the current eclipse and will be ready to move on to something else.  Find Aquarius is in your chart.  This is the house that needed attention back in January 26^th.   Check your planets to see if any planets lined up with this Eclipse.  If I remember correctly, it was conjunct Jupiter at 6 degrees of Aquarius.   Expansion now is a possibility.  This New Moon has a trine to Pluto in Capricorn and squares the Nodes.  These aspects prove to be very powerful allies in whatever situations arise.

 Saturn in Virgo is slowing down.  It will be at 15 degrees until May 6^th, at which point, it will move to 14 degrees of Virgo and go direct on May 17^th, 2009.  This is your opportunity to move forward on your goals that you started last September.  During the retrograde you made many decisions and now you can move forward with your plans and not have any obstacles until Saturn goes retrograde again.   One thing to remember is that we are nearing the last 6 months of Saturn in Virgo sometime in the spring of next year.  The meaning of the last 2 ½ years proves to be a completion of some desire that you started with this transit.  What were you goals 2 ½ years ago?

This New Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and how others see you.  You may have had some interesting thoughts about career with the square to Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter.  You will be hearing important news in the coming weeks about career.  The Eclipse was in the 10^th house of career sending up smoke signals that changes would be coming.  This New Moon is in Taurus and trines Pluto in the 9^th house changing your mental landscape very positively.  This is a fixed New Moon so there is a tremendous amount of stamina and determination that comes with it.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 12^th house of the past, institutions and the subconscious.  It is in trine to Pluto in the 8^th house of sex, death, taxes and partnership funds.  Some things that surface have been in the works for awhile. They are positive and money and career will be in strong focus.  Mars and Venus are conjunct in your 11^th house of goals exciting your ambition.   The original Eclipse was in your 9^th house of legal matters, higher education, foreign affairs and philosophy.   These issues are about to reach a stable point as they slip into the foreground. 

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 11^th house of goals signaling some major moves in that direction.  This New Moon will be trining Pluto in the 7^th house of partnerships giving power to your endeavors and action from the square of the nodes.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

 This New Moon takes place in your 8th house of sex, death, taxes and partnership finances.  The original Eclipse took place in your 5^th house of creativity, children, love affairs and investments in late January.  Jupiter was conjunct and promised expansion. This New Moon ushers in changes that you have been grappling with for some time.  You have even changed your stance on long held beliefs.  This is a lot of movement for you and with the New Moon trining Pluto in the 4^th; you are very sure about everything you are doing.  You have Mars Venus conjunct in the 7^th house examining your relationships and giving them new values.   You feel good with your decisions.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The original Eclipse point was in your 3^rd house of communication and community posing difficulties that had to be resolved.  This next three weeks you will reach a turning point that deals with everyday work and health.  The New Moon also trines Pluto and squares the nodes promising action and deliverance when it come to your personal finances.   Mars is square to Pluto for the last time and releases some pent up anger.   

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of creativity, children, love affairs and investments.  The original Eclipse point in late January took place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  This is the turning point of any issues that have plagued you since then.  The Eclipse point did promise expansion in the 2^nd house of love and values.  In the next 3 weeks you will reach a turning point that will resolve all that has gone before.  This New Moon also trines Pluto in the 1^st house and squares the nodes bringing confidence and security to your life.  Mars in Aries squares Pluto on your ascendant causing you to fly off the handle.  Count to 100 then speak.

 AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  There is movement here and lots of it.   The original Eclipse was in your 1^st house conjunct Jupiter promising expansion and promotion opportunities.  If this New Moon works well in your chart, you will see all of your promotions come to fruition.  This New Moon trines Pluto in your 12^th and delivers a powerful opportunity from behind-the- scenes.    Mars may pose a disruption with this New Moon as it squares Pluto in your 12^th asking for a compromise that is needed to continue.  The actions in the next 3 weeks will certainly change the issues that have plagued you since late January.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communications and community.  The original Eclipse point came from your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes promising exposure, opportunity and a sort of coming out party.  The next 3 weeks should be the apex of that whole experience.  This New Moon trines Pluto in your 11^th house of goals and greatly activates your own personal ambition and feeling of more control in your life.  There is a Mars square Pluto that is tempting you to make some strong financial moves.  Don’t be hasty.  Think it through. Ask a friend.   

Venus Direct

Ok, how many of you broke astrology rule #1…never begin or end a relationship while Venus is retrograde???  How many of you had cosmetic treatments that didn’t exactly turn out the way you had planned or hoped???  How many of you purchased something expensive you thought you couldn’t live without and are now having buyer’s remorse???   Don’t be too hard on yourself…Venus in impulsive Aries makes temptation nearly impossible to resist and holding on to that energy only turns inward causing you to feel angry and frustrated…it’s a no win situation if you ask me!!!   As you may recall from my last article, Aries likes to initiate and take action without delay…being held back and told to wait is pure torture for people with Aries strong in their chart.  I don’t know about you, but enough already…let’s just get on with it!!! 

 I have to admit I was one of those people who didn’t follow the rules or listen to my own advice about waiting for Venus to go direct before starting something new.  I accepted an offer for a date and was disappointed… nothing turned out like I hoped or planned.   For starters, I completely rearranged my schedule…even took a vacation day to accommodate his busy schedule.  I cleaned my entire house, ironed my sheets, bought candles, expensive incense, painted my master bathroom, hung a new light fixture, and was going to cook a fabulous meal for us.  As you can see, I put a lot of thought, effort, time and energy into planning a very romantic evening with someone I thought was special and worthy of my affection and generosity.  My date didn’t call me until 9:00 pm that night…said he just got done with work!!!  To make a long story short…I decided not to spoil the night by getting mad or upset.   Instead, I accepted an invitation to his place.  The question I keep asking myself over and over again, and the question I want to ask all of you who didn’t follow the rules is, was it worth it?  Venus rules values and self-worth. 

I’m a true believer that everything happens for a reason which is why I say don’t be too hard on yourself if your relationships aren’t going according to plan.  So you jumped the gun and were a little impulsive and impatient to make something happen in your love life…only to be met with some kind of challenge or resistance.   I say, welcome the challenge because it means your growing.  Besides that, what would Venus in Aries be without a challenge…boring!!!  We have been living with this Venus retrograde since March 6^th,

which feels like eternity if you ask me.  But really it’s been longer than that…Venus stations direct at 29 degrees Pisces on April 17, the same degree she was last seen on February 2^nd.  Think back to what was going on in your life

then?  Then hold on to seat because we get to do this all over again!!!  Only this time the roadblocks will be removed and it won’t feel like you’re in a torture chamber.  How does that old saying go?  ”If only I knew then what I know now things would be different!!!”   Well, everything that was initiated during the Venus retrograde, including the shadow period, will be revisited and you’ll get a second chance to start over again…only this time you’ll know now what you didn’t know then!!!  Hopefully, you have learned some valuable lessons along the way!!!   

Since Aries is the natural ruler of the first house and also represents the “self”…maybe we are not putting enough worth and value on our “self.”  Maybe we’ve been too focused on “others”!!!  One thing I’ve learned is; focusing too much on others tends to draw in people who are self-centered.  Whomever we draw into our lives become our great teachers!!!!   Venus in Aries teaches us to put our own needs first while still being considerate of others.  When we put first things first, we hopefully attract people who see our real beauty and worth, who also appreciate our kindness and generosity without taking complete advantage of us.  Loving yourself is the first step to a healthy relationship with others.  The new moon that occurred on March 26 at 6 degrees Aries was conjunct Venus retrograde…reiterating this fact. 

Venus is not an aggressive sign by nature and is not use to putting her needs first in relationships.  That’s because Venus is the natural ruler of the 7^th house which rules “others.”   It’s been a bit of a struggle for Venus to

think of herself first for a change, and I don’t think she’s is very comfortable in her own skin at the moment…like a fish out of water.   But this is exactly what she needs to do if she’s ever going to find love, peace, and happiness within her relationships.  Luckily, she will get another opportunity once she units with her one true love, Mars, in the sign of Pisces.   Mars is the ruler of Aries and he will lead the way for Venus.  This should be a truly magical time when these two lovers come together…I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking romance par excellence!!!  I’m talking about the kind of love affair made only in heaven…like the hand of God taking man and woman and joining their hearts together forever!!!    Pisces is ruled by Neptune and is the higher octave of Jupiter.  It’s the kind of love that knows no boundaries and where differences are transcended. 

One thing you should also know about Pisces and Neptune is that they can be a little delusional and not seeing things as they really are.  One becomes a martyr and capable of selflessness in the name of love.   Sometimes we have to sacrifice one thing in order to gain something else.  Sometimes we need to let go of our attachments to that which we think we can’t live without.   If we can open ourselves up to the universe and its possibilities, by putting faith and trust into something we cannot see, imagine, or have control over…then real magic begins to transform our lives and the impossible becomes possible.   The higher manifestation of Neptune’s energy, which is unconditional love, is difficult to obtain because we often have to release something else in its place…usually the lower vibration of Neptune’s energy which has everything to do with addictions, fantasies, delusions, and illusions.   Neptune’s infinite energy is scary to us mortals who live in a world ruled by Saturn who tells us there are limits to everything…thank God we have other planets in our solar system, otherwise life would be nothing but all work and no play!!!  Neptune wants to open our hearts and mind to the possibilities…it’s where we get carried away by lovely dreams and fantasies that takes us to uncharted territories…to a new world filled with hope, faith, and unconditional love…a coming home feeling.  Neptune has a way of clouding our vision with smoke and mirrors causing us to feel confused, and when Neptune’s fog lifts, we are left with a sense of loss, suffering, grief, and great sadness.  But once we realize that what we were holding on to wasn’t real to begin with, healing and transformation can take place.  Sometimes we need to lose ourselves before we can be found.   Venus re-enters Pisces and stations at 29 degrees before going direct…the last degree of the last sign of the zodiac.  We are being asked to let go and release something from the past that which no longer severs our higher purpose so we can move forward and begin a new chapter in our life.  Don’t worry… this will get easier once Mars and Venus move into Aries.  Mars and Aries are very courageous and tread where others fear most.  I think it will be refreshing and believe it will put the spring back in your step…you’ll love the new you and you’ll find that traveling without all the extra bags exhilarating. 

Venus will conjunct Mars in Pisces at 29 degrees on, April 22, once Venus goes Direct….they do not make an exact conjunction in Aries.   It takes Venus a few months to catch up to Mars where they will kiss on June 21, the first day of summer, at 15 degrees Taurus.  While things will definitely pick up speed and start moving in the right direction once Venus goes direct before then, pay close attention to the themes that arise in your life around April 22 because Mercury will retrograde all the way back to this point in time on May 31^st.  Something will probably get held up or delayed for a few weeks!!!  I don’t think that will be much of a problem though because Venus and Mars will be in the constellation of Taurus…which is famous for its patience.  By June 21^st there’ll be no more delays, no more waiting, nothing holding you back from all that you desire, and moving your plans forward will be a breeze.

To summarize, this Venus retrograde has taught us about the value of self-love and putting first things first.  It’s shown us how we compromise our values and self-worth by putting too much emphasis on others in relationships, and how we compensate for the feeling of insecurity by buying things and surrounding ourselves with material possessions, or investing in products and procedures that will make us look and feel more attractive.  In the end…none of that can really fill the void or lack we feel inside.  Take a good close look at what hasn’t worked and get ready to release and let it go.  Get set to embrace the new by realizing your own self-worth and move forward from that place.

I spoke too soon.  We have had blizzard conditions in Denver. .   We do need the moisture but why couldn’t it be rain?  I guess it has been a climate shock all over our country.  Our seasons are definitely not on schedule.  It has been quite a couple of weeks.  For some of you, this Venus retrograde has been a growing burden.  For the rest of you lucky ones, you’re having a great time. 

Mercury is entering Taurus this month on the 10^th, bringing us a welcomed down-to- earth mentality.  I know that Mercury will go retrograde in May and the pre-retrograde cycle starts this April 22^nd. There seems to be a lot going on this April 22^nd so keep track of communications from the 22^nd until the retrograde on May 8^th, 2009.  Mercury does change signs and enters Gemini but it retreats into Taurus; therefore, we may change our minds about some issues that come up on April 22, 2009 or we may encounter delays.

 I was checking the Ephemeris for this month and I will give you the run down on the planets.   Venus squared transiting Pluto on Feb. 6^th, 2009 on its direct motion and has also squared transiting Pluto on April 2^nd, 2009 on the retrograde.  It will square transiting Pluto one more time on May 3^rd, 2009.  These are days you may want to track. Venus is retrograde until April 17^th, at which point it goes direct and manages a climatic conjunction with Mars on April 21^st and 22^nd at 29 degrees of Pisces.   This is a beginning, a new beginning, with new rules and new regulations.  This is a time for new agreements with new time limits and new goals.  Look carefully at your chart and determine in what house this conjunction of 29 degrees of Pisces takes place.  This is the area where all the changes take place.

Saturn is still retrograde and goes from 16 degrees of Virgo to 15 degrees of Virgo.  It has definitely slowed down and is getting close to the direct degree of 14 degrees of Virgo.  The actual date for the direct motion is May 17, 2009.   If you could remember what you were doing on or around September 27^th, 2008, you will notice that you will be revisiting that same scenario.  The names may change as well as the places but the action will be the same.  This retrograde period has given you a taste of what the future holds.  By the time Saturn goes direct; you will have the opportunity to change direction, if that is your choice, or continue in the same direction that you have been in the 5 months.

Jupiter is currently transiting through Aquarius and starts off the month at 19 degrees of Aquarius and continues to 23 degrees by months end.  This Full Moon is trinning Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune. 

Uranus is currently in Pisces at 23 degrees and continues to 26 degrees by the end of the month.  If you have any planets at or within these degrees in Pisces, Sag, Gemini or Virgo, this month will take you by the tail and swing you around a bit.  Issues will be very unexpected, exciting and uncontrollable.

Neptune has been conjunct Chiron for some time now and reality has been a constant dilemma.  Double check everything.

Pluto has just gone retrograde and returns to 0 degrees of Capricorn before going direct on September 11^th, 2009.  The degrees that will be very powerful for you are- 3 degrees, 2 degrees, 1degree and 0 degrees of Capricorn.  If you have any planets at these degrees in Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra, I hope you have some built up stamina.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships.  The indication is that some business or relationship issues will come to some interesting conclusions.  This Full Moon is in trine to your Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron, so how bad can it be?   Mars your ruler will conjunct Uranus on April 15th setting you free from some behind-the-scenes restriction.  This will be a busy month for you Aries.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 6^th house of work and health. It is quite likely that there will be changes in your everyday work.  It could include different scheduling or a complete revision of what you do.  Since this Full Moon trines Aquarius, Gemini and Libra, I feel as if this could possibly be an opportunity you have been waiting for.  Next month will be very important for you as Mercury goes retrograde in the early degrees of Gemini and re-enters Taurus.  Watch the 22^nd of April and after for an indication of how things might change next month.  Check everything twice.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  It will trine your rising sign of Gemini and 9^th house of philosophy, foreign affairs, travel, higher education and legal matters.  The completion of this Full Moon will have to do with 5^th house changes but with opportunities that flow from  your 9^th house to your personal 1^st house of personality.  This may be a time for travel or legal opportunities. 

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  Issues that deal with changes to the home are also indicative of changes on a more inner level.   Take a minute to understand what is going on internally as well as what completion is taking place or manifesting on the physical level.   Chances are, there is more than one thing going on.   This Full Moon trines your 8^th house of sex, death and taxes as well as your 11^th house of goals.   This does seem  financially fortunate.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communication and community.  Issues here seem to take a turn and offer some resolution to what has been going on in your life.  This may be an adjustment that needs attention and best fits the confines of the 3^rd house.   You may hear news of changes in your community which includes your work place and neighborhood.  Brothers and sisters can be a concern, but with the trine from this Full Moon to your 7^th house( Aquarius) and the 11^th house (Gemini), your experience will not be bad.  This Full Moon does seem to be on your side.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of finances, love and personal acquisitions.  This Full Moon does seem to indicate a positive venue for money to come to you.  The trine from the 6^th house to the 10^th house to your 2^nd house is a goldmine when it comes to your money.   The 6^th house is work and health and the 10^th house is career.  Who could ask for more? 

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

 This Full Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and appearance.  There is a trine operating with this Full Moon that takes place from your 1^st house to your 5^th house to your 9^th house.  The 5^th house represents children, love affairs and creativity and the 9^th house is your legal house.  It seems that there may be a positive change for you personally with this Full Moon.  New agreements with children and love affairs may brighten the way for you.  These changes will manifest on some physical way but also look for a new uplifting in your attitude.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12^th house of the past and institutions.  Hidden matters may come up to the surface and find a final resting place.  Along with the conclusion of this matter is a trine from the 4^th house of home and the 8^th house of partnership finances.   This indicates that these areas of your life will offer opportunities to you through this Full Moon.  Partnership funds or money from others seem to be an avenue for you to receive.  The trine to Jupiter in your 4^th house offers abundance and good feelings.

 AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, higher education and foreign affairs.  Since this is such a mental house, this may be an attitude or conclusion to ethical, religious or spiritual matters.  The Jupiter in your 1^st house is in trine to this Full Moon indicating some kind of travel opportunity that looms about.  If you have any planets in Gemini, this will make a grand air trine and definitely mean fun is on the horizon.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

New Moon Forecast March 26th, 2009 at 6 degrees of Aries

 It feels like spring!   Well ,  by George,  it is spring. The trees are budding and life is starting to wake from her winter sleep.   I love spring.  I get very   energetic   for an older gal at this time of the year.  I wake up to a new feeling of aliveness.  It must be the color green.  I never thought of this before but green is an intense color. Just think of what flashes through your mind when you see the vibrant green of a lawn or the burst of green in your flower garden.  Ah!  These are the things that move the soul.  The green of money doesn’t hurt either.  I am anxious to plant my vegetable garden, although I must hold myself back because of the weather here in Denver.   The best time to plant is after May 15th, but you are still not guaranteed a hail free spring.  I will start getting my planters ready and set them outside to soak up these warm summer days, always with an eye on the horizon for a possible hail or snow storm.   

This New Moon is in Aries, the sign of aggressive beginnings.  That even sounds exciting.  This Venus retrograde has brought some things to a screeching halt and other paths have become visible up ahead.   For some of you this can be a difficult transition but, for others, it is a new awakening in terms of possibilities.  The story is not over yet but there is a significant amount of movement.  Venus is trying her best to catch up to Mars and that doesn’t happen until April 22nd.  I am a Libra rising and you can tell by my last posting that Venus, my ascendant ruler, is really jousting with my reality.  If that wasn’t enough, just as I was getting my swimming schedule secure, they closed the pool for a week.  This New Moon is very welcome as it lends energy and excitement to the coming month.   

Mercury is in active Aries as we enter April and moves into steadfast Taurus on the 10th.  This will slow down the activity and bring a little stability to Mercury.  Mars is in Pisces most of the month but seems to tickle Aries around the 23rd of April.  This starts off a strong and active period for everyone depending on where it lands in your chart.  As for a magic date, watch the 22nd of April.   Jupiter is still racing through Aquarius and starts the month off at 19 degrees.  By the end of the month it is at 23 degrees of Aquarius.  It is fast approaching a conjunction with Neptune in the last two weeks of May just as Neptune is going retrograde.  It will conjunct Neptune for a total of 4 weeks.  I will write more about this aspect in May.  Uranus moves from 23degrees of Pisces to 25 degrees.  If you have any natal planets at these degrees in your chart, hold on to your boots.  Pluto goes retrograde at 3 degrees of Capricorn to retreat all the way back to 0 degrees of Capricorn.  This will be very important if you have natal planets at any one of the 0 to 3 degrees of Capricorn.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)This New Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality.  It brings action and energy to you on a personal level.  People will think that you are definitely moving at lightning speed.  This serge of energy is really good for self- promotion and for starting some personal exercise regime.   This New Moon also squares Pluto in Capricorn in your 10th expressing your desire to accomplish something with career overtones.  There may be a little frustration building for you in and around your work or health. 

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)This New Moon takes place in your 12th house of institutions and behind- the- scenes activities.  There may be a tremendous amount of energy that you are expressing from behind-the-scenes.  This is all due to the New Moon square Pluto in the 9th.  The energy will most likely be expressed on a mental level because of the house placements.  I would imagine that it will have much to do with research for some 9th house matters.  (Philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs, high education)  This is great for you, Taurus, as your energy level is usually quite steady.   

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20) This New Moon takes place in your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  It brings your aspirations and the possibilities of their manifestations into full view.   Clearly, you are in purgatory over some situation.  The energy that emanates from this Moon Pluto square from the 11th to the 8th sets your mojo on high.  Partnership finances and other people’s money will insist on your cooperation. 

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)This New Moon takes place in your 10th house of career.  It has an intense square to Pluto in the 7th house and indicates your personal involvement in a very intense situation.  To say that this is minor is a mistake in judgment.  All four corners of your chart are activated so this is quite personal to you, and quite moving. 

LEO-(July 23-August 22)This New Moon takes place in your 9th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.  Pluto in your 5th house indicates that there is a relationship that needs to be put to the fire.  If it survives, it will be great.  If it fails to live up to your values, you are better off letting it go now.  There are new beginnings on the horizon so save yourself.
