New Moon Forecast for November 16, 2009 at 24 degrees of Scorpio

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: Uncategorized

I was looking at the ephemeris and noticed that by December 1st, 2009 all the planets will be direct until December 19, 2009 when Mars goes retrograde.  This will be a great time for a lasting union or some important event.  As Mars goes retrograde, this seems to be the time when something we unpredictable happens.  Even if this event seems uncomfortable, it is, in reality, adjusting your actions to accommodate Saturn’s transit thru Libra.

The New Moon on Nov. 16, 2009 is at 24 degrees of Scorpio.  I immediately connected this NM to transiting Uranus at 22 degrees of Pisces, which is a water trine.  I continued to view the NM chart I saw that there is an obvious fixed square from the NM to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter.    The last FM contained a fixed square but the difference is that from this fixed square there is a water trine taking place with Uranus.   Whenever there is a square aspect and a trine aspect located at one of the points that square,  means that whatever has been challenging you is about to give off a beneficial  outcome.  It may be that it is an opportunity to see reality thru our own distorted view.  Depending on where these combinations land in your natal chart will give more meaning as to what area of your life these manifestations will occur.

Looking at Mars to oppose Jupiter is a lost cause as Mars goes retrograde on December 20th.   They get close enough to make an impact on December 13, 2009 to December 26, 2009.  Travel is the usual with this aspect and some of you will be taking a trip back home.  One last thought…wherever Mars is transiting in your chart is where the redefining takes place.  Imagine a mini-Saturn.

This NM seems to be handing us a challenge in one hand and giving us a gift with the other.  This can be exciting and rewarding all at the same time.

Another important aspect that takes place is the transiting Saturn square transiting Pluto.  This becomes exact at the NM and starts to release the inner pressure cooker you have been recently experiencing.

Mercury enters Sagittarius on the NM, and, suddenly, you become interested and curious about everything and everybody.  Travel is on your mind as is a break from the humdrum.

(Note:  The meanings for the houses are abbreviated solely for my expediency and yours.  The meanings for all the houses can be found on the internet and, hopefully, be complete.  If you feel that these don’t fit your circumstances look them up. )

Please read your rising sign as it will give you more insight into these events.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 8th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes.  The NM offers challenges in this area of your life and is in square to the transiting Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune that have taken residence in your 11th house of goals.  The gift of this is the trine from the NM to Uranus in the 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity.  This actually gives you great insight into what your next plan should be.  The exact square from Saturn to Pluto falls in your 7th house of partnership (business or personal) and targets Pluto in your 10th house of career.  This forces you to make a decision you didn’t want to make but, like everything we fear, the reality of your decision releases the pressure you have been under.  Mars in your 5th house is redefining your relationship with children, love affairs and creativity.  Mars is also in a fire sign and trines all your fire planets.  LUCKY YOU!

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 7th house of partnership (business or personal) and makes a square aspect to Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in your 10th house of career.  The challenge you face is all about reality:  what is real and what is not.  This is a strong challenge as it takes place on the 7th and 10th angles of your chart.    This is personal to you.  The gift in this situation is the trine the NM makes to transiting Uranus in the 11th house of goals.  There is an opportunity to achieve some of your personal goals.  The Saturn transit square transiting Pluto is exact at this time assuring you of taking some kind of stand.  Saturn is transiting your 6th house of everyday work and health in exact square to Pluto transiting in your 9th house of education, philosophy, legal matters, and foreign affairs.   Mars is currently transiting your 4th house of home and core issues and redefining everything it touches.   The changes you are making are happening from the inside out.   Mercury enters Sagittarius, your 8th house of partnership resources and makes you question every word that is spoken.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This NM takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  This is where the challenge of this NM takes place.  The fixed square to Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in your 9th house of higher education, legal matters, philosophy and foreign affairs forces you to see the reality of your situation and make the necessary adjustments.  The gift of this NM is the trine from the 6th house to Uranus in the 10th house of career.  Some unexpected career opportunity seems to be in the offing.  This can be insightful and delightful.  The Saturn transit in the 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs culminates its exact square to Pluto in the 8th house of partnership resources with this NM.  This has been an intense time for you as it involves money and resources.  The decisions you make at this time will release the pressure of this aspect and you will be happier for it.   You have been trying not to make this decision and which is why the pressure started to build.  You will be relieved.  Mars has been transiting your 3rd house of community, communications, brothers and sisters making sure that this area is restructured before Saturn re-enters Virgo.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This NM takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  This NM is in square to transiting Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune causing you to look closely at partnership resources or 8th house matters.  This is a time for a reality check and for issues to come to some peak.  The gift of this square is the trine it makes from the NM to Uranus in your 9th house of higher education, philosophy, foreign affairs and legal matters.   This is the reality factor and forces you to make certain decisions that have been brewing for the last couple of months.  Transiting Saturn in your 4th house of home and core issues squaring transiting Pluto in the 7th house forces you to make decisions that involve partnership and inner issues.  These decisions are personal to you as they take place on the angles of the 4th house and 7th house.  Mars currently transiting the 2nd house of personal finances and redefining your personal money is adjusting your values to equate with the Saturn in Libra transit.    Mercury just entering Sagittarius will be an ally for you this month

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This NM takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues. There is a challenge that takes place here.  As I look at the setup, I see that Mars is in your 1st house of personality and the square to the NM is in the 7th house of partnership.  Since this involves 3 out of 4 angles in your chart, this is very personal to you.  Let’s look closer.  The 4th  house is your home or inner core issues.  Changes are not easy for you to make.  There is a bit of resistance.  Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in the 7th house of partnership and the general public tells me there has been pressure for you to keep things as stable as you can.  What you are seeing now is the reality of the 7th house and your dealing with partnerships and the general public.  The gift comes in from the 8th house of partnership resources, sex, death and taxes.  Unexpectedly, you manifest opportunities to receive money from others.  This could be a job or money from other sources.  Transiting Saturn in your 3rd house of community and communications makes an exact square to transiting Pluto in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  There is something you leave behind but it does release a lot of pressure.  Deep down you are relieved.  Mars in your 1st house is redefining you as an individual entity with changes in your personality and your appearance.

You will leave something behind but you will also be relieved.  Mars is transiting your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity redefining this area of your life.  You may find it necessary to give up the past or old held beliefs.  Mercury enters Sagittarius in your 4th house increasing your communications and curiosity.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This NM takes place in your 2nd house of personal finances and squares Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron in your 5th house of children, creativity, investments and love affairs. This brings personal finances and values in focus and reality staring you right smack dab in the eye.  This is a time of financial challenge and of a reality check.  The gift appears to come from your 6th house of everyday work and health.  There may be job offers or new vistas open up because of past work.  This proves insightful and very helpful.  Saturn in your 1st house of personality squaring transiting Pluto in your 4th house of home and core issues forces you to make changes in your personality in order to produce the person you want to be.   These are new challenges aimed at your personal inner foundations.  Mars is direct in your 11th house of goals redefining this area of your life.  What are your goals?  Is there something standing in your way?  This resolves itself in March of 2010.  Mercury enters Sagittarius on the NM and proves to be the beginning of a highly curious and talkative time.

 SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and appearance.  There is a NM square to Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in your 4th house of home and core issues.  This square is fixed and has all the ear marks of a lot of movement for you.  Your decisions at this time are all about what’s real or what’s not real in terms of your home.  You choose to endure the reality and, then, out of the blue, there is an opportunity that shows up from the 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  Saturn transiting your 12th house and in square to transiting Pluto in your 3rd of communications and community brings with it a certain amount of pressure and the where with all to release it.  Decisions are made and the pressure is released.  Saturn in this area of your chart asks you to review the past and only take with you to the future what you can sustain.  Emotional baggage is a no-no. Mars transiting the 10th house of career is asking for new direction and redefinition.  Mercury is entering Sagittarius in your 2nd house of personal monies and values making you curious about finances.

This is all about finances and goals.  You will be changing them slowly during the next 2 years.  Mars is transiting your 9th house of legal matters, foreign affairs and philosophy redefining this area and making the necessary adjustments for the next 6 months.  This is in preparation for future new beginnings.  Mercury has just entered Sagittarius in your 1st house and curiosity and communications seem to be at an all time high.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

Full Moon Forecast for November 2nd, 2009 at 10 degrees of Taurus

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: Full Moon, Uncategorized

This Full Moon is at 10 degrees of Taurus and is part of a Grand Fixed Cross.  This happens when there are four planets in fixed signs in square to each other.  If you look at the chart for the Full Moon, you will see that Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune square the Full Moon at 10 degrees of Taurus.  Mars in Leo is in square to the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio.  The Elements in Astrology are Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.  Each Element governs three constellations.

Fire                        Earth                    Air                             Water

Action                  Practical                Intellectual               Emotional

Aries                     Taurus               Gemini                     Cancer

Leo                       Virgo                  Libra                        Scorpio

Sagittarius             Capricorn           Aquarius                   Pisces

The Elements are 120 degrees apart forming a classic Trine aspect. Each of these Elements (Fire, Earth, Air and Water) contains another important sub-division. This is where the constellations are divided into the modalities of Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.

Cardinal signs have beginning energy. They are the initiators of Astrology

Fixed signs have the ability to withstand tremendous amounts of pressure and continue to endure.

Mutable signs contain the desire and ability for change.

If they are in a 90 degree relationship with each other they form a square.

 For instance;

       (90 degrees)           (90 degrees)      (90 degrees)

  Fire                     Earth                       Air                      Water          Modality

Aries                 Capricorn                  Libra               Cancer               Cardinal

Leo                    Taurus                     Aquarius         Scorpio               Fixed

Sagittarius           Virgo                      Gemini           Cancer                Mutable

Back to this Full Moon in Taurus…this setup speaks of pressure and where-ever the FM takes place will be the area where this pressure is felt.    This is also the area that will incur changes.  Venus with her bright shining light radiates her social intensity in a grand trine to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter.  Situations of a more immediate nature are more socially oriented than usual.  You are on a precipice and you know it.  Which way to go?  How will it turn out? These are looming questions for you at this point.  Transiting Saturn is squaring Transiting Pluto and, this alone, will relieve some stress by the end of the month.

The anxieties that you feel now are because of the transitions you are about to face in the next 6 months.  Saturn is leaving Virgo and is now in Libra.  It will return to Virgo to complete some unfinished business but not until April of 2010.  You are preparing for that last transit of Saturn in Virgo to complete this cycle.  Mars in Leo is actually more important on a daily basis because it is laying the foundation for what is to come in April.   This is the true ending of Saturn in Virgo and of the promise of completion of some long held goals.

Please read your rising sign as it will give you more insight into these events.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 2nd house of values and personal finances.  This is the mainstay of pressure for you.  You may be looking at your personal finances and trying to maintain a modicum of sanity as finances or relationships are dark clouds that loom in the future. Your ingenuity and resourcefulness are being stretched to the maximum.   This is the reason for the pressure.   In order to grow you must reach beyond our normal limitations to grow.  Partnership issues are easy and can be romantic.  Mars is transiting your 5th house of creativity and redefining this area to prepare you for the Saturn in Libra transit.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and how others see you.  The physical you has had some changes and continues to change as time goes on.  You are projecting new personality traits that may shock you or the people close to you.  Since all of this is taking place in your angular houses of 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th ,your everyday life is intensely affected.  Venus in your 6th house of everyday work is claiming a victory in achieving a long held goal.  Mars in Leo in your 4th house of home and core issues is taking on the role of headmaster and taking full control.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past and the subconscious.  Changes in your thinking or situations from the past seem to be the pressure that is permeating your consciousness. This can have to do with the anticipation of future changes due to some unforeseen circumstances.  Mars in Leo in your 3rd house of communication and community is taking charge and redefining this area of your life.  Saturn entering your 5th house tells me that your creative mind and issues that deal with children are the objects of your future concern.   Preparing for these challenges is the basis for your anxiety.  Venus in her social way has provided you with delightful thoughts and visions of the possibilities to come.   Saturn will be squaring Pluto this month and some pressures will be lifted.

Saturn entering Libra will be in a cardinal square to your ascendant and many core observations and changes will be marked for redefinition in these next 2 ½ years.  Transiting Saturn is also in a square to transiting Pluto forcing you to make the necessary changes in your life that will ensure the future.  Transiting Venus in the 4th house makes a generous trine to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter bringing some delightful news about finances coming your way.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 10th house of career and standing in the community.  The changes in this sector are always of major concern because career is an integral part of who you are.  Changes in this area alter the way society sees you.  If you add some new skill to your list of accomplishments or if you discontinue a skill for some reason your career persona will be measured by that action.    This FM has brought you some uncompromising positions that affect almost every area of your life.  Mars transiting your 1st house of personality has put you out in the open doing self promotion.   This is very necessary for your future endeavors.  Transiting Saturn squaring transiting Pluto adds pressure to the current situation by pushing you to accomplish certain goals that will affect you on a daily basis.  All is not bad as transiting Venus in your 3rd house of communications and community trine transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in your 7th house of partnerships.  This can be seen as a major celebration or a major event.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education.  There are changes taking place in this house that have been putting a lot of mental pressure on you.   Some emotional issues have been slowly inching into your conscious mind.  This is not something that you can deactivate as it is sparked by your own emotional past.  These issues have a way of surfacing and engaging you in your day to day life.  Awareness is your only colleague in this quest.   Transiting Saturn is in square to transiting Pluto pushing for changes in your everyday life.  Mars in your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activities, the past, preparation and institutions will be redefining this area for you in the next 6 months.   Transiting Venus in your 2nd house of personal finances delights you with its trine to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in your 6th house of everyday work and health insuring some personal financial goals.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 8th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes.  Other people’s money, such as, mortgages, insurance and partnership resources, will sustain some changes during this Full Moon. The stress you have been under has to do with your personal finances, your creative ability to make things happen and your financial reality.   Money that you receive from others or partnership funds is about to change.   Transiting Saturn is squaring transiting Pluto from the 1st house to the 4th house, creating a tremendous pressure for you to make personal changes that will impact your home or core issues within the next month.  There does seem to be a tinkle of liberation and romantic involvement as Venus, your ascendant ruler, is trining Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in the 5th house of love affairs.  Mars in your 11th house is in the process of redefining your goals hopes and wishes for the next 6 months.
 SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 7th house of partnerships. (Business or Personal) This is an interesting placement for the Full Moon as it intensifies in an angular house.  You may be involved in modifying or ending some association that has been a thorn in your side.  This is the Fixed Cross on your chart angles that makes things just a little more anxious.  Mars is transiting your 10th house of career and redefining this area in the next 6 months.  Career is up in the air and for you this is not a comfortable reality.  Transiting Saturn in the 12th house is squaring transiting Pluto in the 3rd house revealing that some issues from the past need resolution thru communication and community on a conscious basis.  Venus performs her magic in the 12th house of the past and triple trines Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in the 4th house of home allowing you a secluded time for social  and romantic interactions.

 SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Full Moon takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and/or health matters.  There may be some issues that have held your constant attention when it comes to your everyday work.  Changes here can seem to have an impact on your daily work.  This can also be a period of nondescript activity that leaves you constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.  Mars is transiting your 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education in order to redefine your higher aspirations. This will take the next 6 months.  Transiting Saturn in your 11th house of goals is forming a square to transiting Pluto in your 2nd house of personal finances intensifying your goals for personal finances during this next month.  Venus in all her beauty is trining Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in your 3rd house of communication and community.   Celebrations abound.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The changes in this house can be varied, however, they hold an important place in your life.  If you are dealing with creativity, this is a perfect time to reinvent yourself.  Mars in your 8th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes will be performing major redefining of this house.  This means you will be looking for  new ways to make money.  Transiting Saturn is forming a square to transiting Pluto from your 10th house of career to your 1st house of personality making your day-to-day life an exercise in stamina.  Venus in your 10th house seems to be showering you with abundance when it comes to money.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues.  Again, we see that this fixed cross is involved with the angles of your chart intensifying the pressure.  Changes seem to come from the home and, of course, your inner core.  These changes may not be easy for you as your chart has fixed signs on all the angles.  Mars is transiting your 7th house of partnerships asking you to redefine your partnerships enabling you to move forward in your everyday life.  Pluto in your 12th house will ask you to delve deep into the past and transform any negative belief system to something that will serve you better at this time in your life.  Transiting Saturn is forming a square to this Pluto from the 9th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education stretching your ability to become more aware on a daily basis.   Venus in her quest for beauty makes a glorious trine to Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron in your 1st house of personality enabling you to look and be received as God’s gift to humanity.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 3rd house of communications and community. Changes in this house seem to be part of pressures that have been plaguing you in recent times.  This is difficult because they have been a part of your everyday existence and they can deal with family dilemmas.    Mars has just entered into your 6th house of everyday work and health issues.  This area of your life will be redefined in the next 6 months.  This is necessary in order to make the transition from Saturn in Virgo to Saturn in Libra.  Transiting Saturn is in a square to transiting Pluto in your 11th house of goals pushing you to achieve new goals within the next month.  Venus enhances your associations with people from the past and delivers an abundance of enjoyment.

New Moon June 22nd, 2009 at 1 degree of Cancer

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: Uncategorized

We are on the precipice of a very unusual Eclipse pattern.  On July 7th there will be a Full Moon Eclipse at 15 degrees of Capricorn followed by a New Moon Eclipse on July 22nd, 2009 at 29degrees of Cancer.  Another Full Moon Eclipse follows on August 6th, 2009.  We are entering a pattern of Eclipses that are not common; however, I have found that when there is more than a NME and FME, it translates into a change in our everyday patterns.  Look at your chart and find out what aspect the natal moon makes to natal Pluto.  This will show how stressful it will be.

This NM is not part of the Eclipse trio but it does show up with a dynamic aspect of NM in opposition to transiting Pluto.  The NM enters with a challenge.  How you deal with this challenge expresses itself in the FME of July 7th, 2009.  Take note that this NM is in a cardinal aspect to Pluto, which screams action.  (In my experience I have noted that 7 days after the NM is another day of action, then followed by the FM seven days later.) The days to watch will be June 22nd, 2009, June 29th, 2009 (the quarter moon is in Libra), followed by July 7th, 2009 (the first FME at 15 degrees of Capricorn.) They are all Cardinal positions.

This New Moon in Cancer at 1 degree is in opposition to transiting Pluto and starting this uncommon passage.  Cancer and Capricorn are Cardinal constellations.  They tell me that this aspect is decisional, directed and loaded with initiatory change.  That’s right; you will have a big part to play in the next month.  I like to think of this as telling us a story.  It is safe to say that Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are all direct.   Neptune and Pluto are retrograde and Jupiter is expected to follow on June 15th, 2009.   This is a window of time where most of the planets are direct.  Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are still causing most of the ambient noise and distractions but your path forward starts to open.  Jupiter retrograde continues its association with Chiron and Neptune and continues keeping certain issues still nagging at you throughout this conjunction period.  Our only saving grace is that Jupiter will release its grip on this conjunction around July 23rd, 2009.  Below you will find the explanation of this New Moon in your chart.  Please read your rising sign as it will be more accurate to you personally.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon falls in your 4th house of home and core issues and is in opposition to transiting Pluto in the 10th house of career.   Changes seem to have developed leading up to this NM and now you are faced with changes that tempt your security.  Your Aries Sun will complete the challenge and you will be staring into the eyes of a7th house matter.  (Partnerships, business and/or personal).  Pluto in the 10th house always signifies transformation wherever it transits.  So expect a challenge from the 4th house changing your current position in the world. This NM does have a Mars and Venus conjunction in your 2nd house of love and values that trines Saturn in the 6th house exactly.   Mercury is in square to Saturn confirming that you will be uncommonly busy.   This NM ushers in a challenge and you gallantly take up the gauntlet.    Your flag is flying high emblazoned with the crest of success, promising the potential for love and money.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 3rd house of communications and community and is in opposition to transiting Pluto in the 9th house of philosophy, legal matters and foreign affairs. Pluto in the 9th has the ability to transform all issues of the 9th house in its transit.  This is a slow transit but it can be intense.   The NM is always a challenge, but in a Cardinal sign, it is a challenge you must take up.  Your sense of determination and steadfastness allows you the strength and fortitude to accomplish many things and in this instance, you are bracing yourself for the upcoming task at hand.  Venus and Mars are conjunct in your 1st house of personality and form an exact trine to Saturn in the 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.   You will see that this is an opportunity in disguise.  Your true nature and attractiveness are highlighted, offering you an opportunity to reveal your genuineness to the world.  This is only the beginning; the rest of the story will unfold in its own time.

New Moon Forecast for April 25th, 2009 at 5 degrees of Taurus

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: Uncategorized

I am looking at Venus.  She has been at 29 degrees of Pisces since April 12th, 2009 and continues to be at 29 degrees until April 24th, 2009.  If you have any planets at this placement or at 29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo, this last 6 weeks has been monumental for you.   During this period Venus has gone stationary direct and is about to conjunct with Mars on April 22nd, 2009.  This Venus retrograde has accomplished one important thing and that is to catch up to Mars.  They are now in sync making relationship issues will be more realistic.  This conjunction also indicates a beginning cycle for Mars and Venus.   What house does Venus rule in your chart? What houses does Mars rule?  These are the areas that will be important in this coming Mars Venus cycle.

Following this conjunction there is a New Moon in Taurus at 5 degrees.  This New Moon is the square to the eclipse on January 26th at 6 degrees of Aquarius.   I seem to hear a murmur from the masses asking, “What does this mean?”  Go back in your mind to the end of January, especially on or around the 26th and take notice of your ideas or immediate dilemmas of that time.   What was it that you wanted to accomplish, complete or undertake?  By the Full Moon on May 9th you will have reached a turning point in the current eclipse and will be ready to move on to something else.  Find Aquarius is in your chart.  This is the house that needed attention back in January 26th.   Check your planets to see if any planets lined up with this Eclipse.  If I remember correctly, it was conjunct Jupiter at 6 degrees of Aquarius.   Expansion now is a possibility.  This New Moon has a trine to Pluto in Capricorn and squares the Nodes.  These aspects prove to be very powerful allies in whatever situations arise.

Saturn in Virgo is slowing down.  It will be at 15 degrees until May 6th, at which point, it will move to 14 degrees of Virgo and go direct on May 17th, 2009.  This is your opportunity to move forward on your goals that you started last September.  During the retrograde you made many decisions and now you can move forward with your plans and not have any obstacles until Saturn goes retrograde again.   One thing to remember is that we are nearing the last 6 months of Saturn in Virgo sometime in the spring of next year.  The meaning of the last 2 ½ years proves to be a completion of some desire that you started with this transit.  What were you goals 2 ½ years ago?

(It is helpful to keep a journal.)

Please be sure to read your rising sign as it will resonate with your personal chart.

If you have intercepted signs, you will need to make adjustments.

Full Moon Forecast for April 9th, 2009 at 19 degrees of Libra.

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: Uncategorized

I spoke too soon.  We have had blizzard conditions in Denver. .   We do need the moisture but why couldn’t it be rain?  I guess it has been a climate shock all over our country.  Our seasons are definitely not on schedule.  It has been quite a couple of weeks.  For some of you, this Venus retrograde has been a growing burden.  For the rest of you lucky ones, you’re having a great time.

Mercury is entering Taurus this month on the 10th, bringing us a welcomed down-to- earth mentality.  I know that Mercury will go retrograde in May and the pre-retrograde cycle starts this April 22nd. There seems to be a lot going on this April 22nd so keep track of communications from the 22nd until the retrograde on May 8th, 2009.  Mercury does change signs and enters Gemini but it retreats into Taurus; therefore, we may change our minds about some issues that come up on April 22, 2009 or we may encounter delays.

I was checking the Ephemeris for this month and I will give you the run down on the planets.   Venus squared transiting Pluto on Feb. 6th, 2009 on its direct motion and has also squared transiting Pluto on April 2nd, 2009 on the retrograde.  It will square transiting Pluto one more time on May 3rd, 2009.  These are days you may want to track. Venus is retrograde until April 17th, at which point it goes direct and manages a climatic conjunction with Mars on April 21st and 22nd at 29 degrees of Pisces.   This is a beginning, a new beginning, with new rules and new regulations.  This is a time for new agreements with new time limits and new goals.  Look carefully at your chart and determine in what house this conjunction of 29 degrees of Pisces takes place.  This is the area where all the changes take place.

Saturn is still retrograde and goes from 16 degrees of Virgo to 15 degrees of Virgo.  It has definitely slowed down and is getting close to the direct degree of 14 degrees of Virgo.  The actual date for the direct motion is May 17, 2009.   If you could remember what you were doing on or around September 27th, 2008, you will notice that you will be revisiting that same scenario.  The names may change as well as the places but the action will be the same.  This retrograde period has given you a taste of what the future holds.  By the time Saturn goes direct; you will have the opportunity to change direction, if that is your choice, or continue in the same direction that you have been in the 5 months.

Jupiter is currently transiting through Aquarius and starts off the month at 19 degrees of Aquarius and continues to 23 degrees by months end.  This Full Moon is trinning Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune.

Uranus is currently in Pisces at 23 degrees and continues to 26 degrees by the end of the month.  If you have any planets at or within these degrees in Pisces, Sag, Gemini or Virgo, this month will take you by the tail and swing you around a bit.  Issues will be very unexpected, exciting and uncontrollable.

Neptune has been conjunct Chiron for some time now and reality has been a constant dilemma.  Double check everything.

Pluto has just gone retrograde and returns to 0 degrees of Capricorn before going direct on September 11th, 2009.  The degrees that will be very powerful for you are- 3 degrees, 2 degrees, 1degree and 0 degrees of Capricorn.  If you have any planets at these degrees in Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra, I hope you have some built up stamina.

Please be sure to read your rising sign as it will resonate with your personal chart.

If you have intercepted signs you will need to check it more closely.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past and institutions.  Hidden matters may come up to the surface and find a final resting place.  Along with the conclusion of this matter is a trine from the 4th house of home and the 8th house of partnership finances.   This indicates that these areas of your life will offer opportunities to you through this Full Moon.  Partnership funds or money from others seem to be an avenue for you to receive.  The trine to Jupiter in your 4th house offers abundance and good feelings.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Full Moon takes place in your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  This can indicate a realized goal or completion of a task that reflects your desires for the future.  The trine from your 3rd house of communications shows a distinct advantage to what you want as does the trine from the 7th house of partnership matters. These trines to your 11th house should eliminate any difficulty that deals with your Full Moon.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

 AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

Full Moon Forecast for March 11th, 2009 at 20 degrees of Virgo

This Month has many interesting facets to it.  Let’s look at it point by point.

1. The Full Moon at 20 degrees of Virgo is within 2 degrees of Saturn and within 2 degrees of Uranus bringing us important information.  This is the manifestation of the Saturn Uranus opposition that we recently incurred.  There will be a change and we will be taking on more and/or different responsibilities.  This has been in the works for a while and is now manifesting.  Think about what is leaving and what is opening up.  This is a gift.

2.  Venus is going retrograde on the 5th of March and will return to the 29th degree of Pisces to go stationary direct on April 17, 2009.

Theoretically ,Venus rules Libra and the sign of Taurus and is

exactly 150 degrees apart or 5 signs from each other.  You may have difficulty finding the areas if you have interceptions in your natal chart.

 3.  Mars completes its transit through Aquarius and makes a conjunction to Neptune on March 7th and 8th, 2009.  Mars enters Pisces on March 15th, 2009 to stir things up a bit.  Interestingly enough, this Mars will conjunct with Venus when it turns direct on April 17th,

2009, a date that is worth watching.  If you have any planets in Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius, this Mars transit will bring action to those planets.

4.  Jupiter continues through Aquarius and travels from the 13th through the 18th degree.  You are thinking about expanding this

area of your life.  Jupiter conjunct your personal planets (Sun or Moon), brings recognition and self confidence.

You may have noticed that my forecasts have gotten shorter.  I seem to have gotten Fried and decided to ease up for awhile.    My forecasts will still contain a lot of information but you may have to work a little harder

to figure it out.  I love my work but even God rested on the 7th day.

Please be sure to read your rising sign as it will resonate with your

personal chart.

Venus Retrograde by Catherine Schultz

May I introduce a very interesting lady.  She is quite knowledgable about Astrology and has written an article for your pleasure.

Venus Retrograde

I want to thank Mary Maclean for giving me this opportunity to write about the upcoming Venus retrograde in the sign of Aries.  Her confidence in me and my abilities, along with my love and passion for astrology are the motivating factors behind this article, for I certainly wouldn’t have taken it upon myself if she hadn’t asked me to.

This Venus retrograde really resonates with me, maybe because I have both my Sun and Mars in early degrees Aries.  Therefore, I thoroughly understand its energy and hope to shed some light for all you about its meaning and lessons that will hopefully impart on us when this cycle is complete.  To get the most of this Venus retrograde in Aries, we need to understand two things.  First, we need to understand the energy of Aries and Mars, along with Libra and Venus to see how this energy will manifest.

Let’s talk about Aries.  Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and the natural ruler of the 1st house. Make no mistake about it, Aries love’s to be first!!!  After all, it’s our birth right.  Sounds a little selfish, doesn’t it!!!  Well, that too I’m afraid is an Aries trait.  It may not be one of our “best” qualities, but hey…someone’s got to be first.  Actually, there are no good or bad qualities…it’s just a matter of perspective and knowing when and how to express the energies inherent in any sign at the appropriate times.  Aries is ruled by the plant Mars and describes how we go about getting what we want!!! Aries can be a little bossy, impatient, impulsive, and aggressive. In Greek mythology, Mars was the God of wars…he’s the knight and shining armor who is courageous, bold, and direct!!! He will go to battle fearlessly and hates to lose…in fact, he loves a challenge!!!  Depending on where, when, and how this energy is expressed can it be seen as either positive or negative.  The trick with any sign is finding middle ground…it’s not healthy to live on either side of the spectrum.   What I mean by spectrum can easily be understood by looking at any sign 180 degrees away, an opposition to.  In this case the sign Libra is the polar opposite of Aries.  Libra is everything Aries is not.  Libra loves to lure and charm the opposite sex…they know just the right thing to say.   In fact, they have a knack for chirping birds out of trees into the palms of their hands.  So diplomatic too!!!  Their mission in life, love and peace at all cost!!!   For them, decision making is probably their hardest tasks and are often seen as sitting on the fence, unable to choose or decide between one thing or another.  Unfortunately, what often happens is that other people decide for them, so they inadvertently give away their power to others, along with lost opportunities they later regret.  I have a friend who is Libra rising with Venus in Aries in the 7th house.  He is more concerned about the welfare of others then with himself and has totally sacrificed his own needs, wants, and desires for the sake of his relationship…thinking this will make him happy.  He keeps trying to get his needs met by projecting Venus and all its principles on to his partner, while unconsciously disowning what would actually bring him happiness… focusing more on him and being true to his self.  If we live too far on either side of the spectrum, we lose perspective and tend to express some of the not so great qualities inherent to that sign.  How interesting it is to me that Venus is set to retrograde in its opposite sign of Aries on March 6, 2009!!!  Perhaps both signs and planets have a little to teach the other about getting their needs met while still considering others.

Libra, the natural ruler of the 7th house, has a whole lot to do with love and relationships. It represents “others” in the birth chart; such as your spouse, partnerships that are legally binding, your best friend, people who represent you; like attorneys, and people you seek advice from.  What most people don’t know is that the 7th house also represents our shadow…parts of ourselves that remain unconscious, disowned and hidden. It’s where we encounter ourselves through others.  We don’t recognize this energy or its characteristics as being part of ourselves which is why we tend to project it unconsciously on to others.  As the old saying goes, opposites attract…now you know why.  What we are initially attracted to, we eventually repel.  We are attracted to the sign on our 7th house cusp so that we can heal and become whole through our relationships with others.

We all know that Venus rules love, relationships, partnerships, legal and binding contracts, values, possessions, self-worth, money, earnings, investments, beauty, art, marriage, divorce, friendships, open enemies, and big ticket luxury items.  With Venus in the sign of impulsive Aries…you may find yourself making impulsive, spontaneous purchases or decisions with far reaching consequences you may later come to regret…like when Venus goes direct!!!  With Venus going retrograde soon, we need to force ourselves to stop, think, and mull things over, before acting just yet. This is not the time to get engaged, marry, or have plastic surgery.  Nor is it the time to sign legal and biding contracts!!!  Do not buy luxury items either…you’ll spend more money than you can really afford.  Make no decisions when it comes to love and romance…do not start or end a relationship while Venus retrogrades…you’ll have seconds thoughts.  Although, I have heard that fated events happen when Venus appears motionless in the sky just days before its reversal and again when she’s just about to go direct.  Perhaps some of us single people will meet someone new, like the love of our lives!!!  Just one word of caution…don’t rush or force things to happen.  The person you meet may be in another relationship which they will need to end first, so be patient.  That’s easier said than done for some of us, especially those with Aries strong in our charts.  In fact, we should all use this Venus retrograde to go back and straighten out any relationships in pearl, and re-evaluate our own needs, wants, and desires, and how we can go about fulfilling them in healthy ways.   It’s not always our relationship to others that needs attention…sometimes it’s our relationship to money; how we acquire it, manage it, and spend it.  Let’s not forget about our morals and values either, these are all up for review now.

Venus retrograde brings up the past, and since this is a 1st & 7th house issue…it may very well bring back a relationship from your past into the present.  Apparently, we all have some unfinished business to attend to before we are able to move freely into the future.  The last time Venus went retrograde was July of 07, in the sign of Virgo and Leo…those were some trying times for everyone!  Many people got divorced and severed relationships without healing or closure.  Venus retrograde, along with the full moon on March 10 at 20 degrees Virgo, says maybe it’s time to bury the hatch, let bygones be bygones, and forgive those who have caused us the most pain and suffering.  It’s not an easy thing to do, that’s for sure, but maybe with Venus in the sign of Aries we can take the first step, be bold and courageous, and be first to say I’m sorry.  It’s time to end the cold war amongst our enemies and time for a little peace and harmony in our relationships.  Lead by example and extend your love to others…even those you love to hate.  Venus retrogrades all the way back into the constellation of Pisces at 29 degrees, the last degree of the last sign of the zodiac…the end of all things.  Again, we need to end something before we can move forward with the new…it isn’t over until the fat lady sings!!!  For those who are still clinging to a relationship that has served its time might see it end now.  Venus in Pisces can be a delusional, unrealistic, and seeing through rose colored glasses.  We go to great lengths to avoid pain and fail to see the writing on the wall. We may even resort to manipulative behaviors to get what we want.  It’s time to take responsibility for our own happiness and quit blaming others for our misery.  My first impression of Venus retrograde in Aries is “conflict resolution through direct confrontation.”  Venus in Pisces along with the sign Libra, avoids direct confrontations whenever possible.  With Venus in Aries avoidance behavior just isn’t going to fly anymore.  Mars will force a confrontation with Venus if necessary…it may be you or someone else who initiates the confrontation, but rest assured, yours and others feelings will be brought to the surface where it can be examined and reviewed.  Maybe you have been stepping on other peoples toes and pushing your weight around with no thought or consideration for others.  Venus is all about cooperation, peace, harmony, balance and diplomacy…and with her appearance in the Aries, she’s not going to tolerate such behavior for long.  She will start considering her own needs and start putting herself first which might trigger a confrontation with her lover, Mars, who is use to being in charge and calling the shots!!!  Mars, you need to give up some control and think about how your actions impact your important relationships. Venus, you need to stop letting everyone walk all over you and take advantage of your good nature.  This is a love affair that needs negotiating and cooperation if differences are to be dissolved and transcended in order to heal and move us forward into the future.

New Moon Forecast for Feb. 24th, 2009 at 6 degrees of Pisces

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: New Moon, Uncategorized

This New Moon is in Pisces at 6 degrees.  For some of us, it will be Feb. 25th, 2009 because of the time changes.  For my area it will be Feb. 24th, 2009.  This also happens to be my baby sister Roseanne’s birthday.   Happy Birthday New Moon Baby Sister.  The world should be at your feet this year. (Pisces, feet, get it!) Another Birthday Girl in Las Vegas is glamorous Linda Crane.  Happy Birthday to you! I like wishing people Happy Birthday so I will continue to do so.   If you have someone you would like me to mention, please drop me an email.

Back to the New Moon in Pisces.  What house does it take place in for you?   Take note of this house because this is the area where the challenge appears.  If you have any planets in water at this degree, you will be floating in a sea of clouds.  If you have any planets at this degree in Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius or Pisces, pay attention to what is going on around you.  This will be a time of change.

I want to introduce you to one of my students, Vickie Kayser, who lives in Hartford Ct..  I love the way she writes and visualizes astrological aspects.  She is going to write an article this week on the constellation of Pisces.  Please read her article next Monday.  Thank you.

Certain areas of our lives have slowed down a bit in order to give us time to breathe and catch up with life and current events.  After March 1st, 2009 Mercury will be at the point that it went retrograde and we will be all caught up.  Mercury is the planet of communication; therefore, it’s no wonder that communications have been slow in coming.   For those of us that are anxiety ridden, please take a deep breath.   These last two Eclipses are in effect for 6 months.  The soonest possible date for things to turn a corner is April 29th, 2009 or May 9th, 2009.   Everyday you will be one step closer to your objectives.

Venus is going retrograde on March 6th, 2009 and journeys back to Pisces where Venus is at its best when it comes to romance.  Venus rules Libra and Taurus.  Now take at look at where these houses land in your chart and you will see where to expect some delays or changes.  If you look ahead to April, you will see that Venus will conjunct Mars on April 22nd, 2009 which is the ultimate goal of this Venus transit.  It’s connection with its cohort Mars creates a bonfire of a new beginning.

Saturn is still retrograde and goes over the degrees of 18, 17, and 16 (in that order) this month.  This will take you back to the month of October 2008 and you will be asked to make decisions on events that are about to repeat themselves.  This is only possible if you have personal natal planets at these degrees in Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius or Pisces.  If this is the case, you will be letting go of your comfort zone to achieve new goals with new challenges.

Uranus moves from 21degrees of Pisces forward to 23 degrees.  The Saturn Uranus opposition has now rescinded into the past but promises more to come later on in the year.  Uranus offers you a wonderful trine to any planets you have in water signs (Cancer Scorpio Pisces) at these degrees.  If you are looking for challenges, look at Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces at these degrees.

Neptune travels from 24 degrees of Aquarius to 25 degrees.  If you have any planets in Leo, Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius at these degrees, you may find that events are not so crystal clear.

Pluto, the planet of transformation, continues its transit thru Capricorn and connects for the first time with 3 degrees of Capricorn.   It goes retrograde on April 3rd, and does not return to this position until the end of the year.   Pluto retrogrades to 0 degrees on September 11th, 2009 and then turns stationary direct.  If you have any planets in this position in any Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn), you are about to enter a time of transformation.  This can be intense but it will be well worth it.

Now that I have given you the update, I hope you will get a little more information from the following monthly forecast.

Please be sure to read your rising sign as it will resonate with your personal chart.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past, preparation and institutions, the subconscious and connection to the universe.   This placement is a concerted effort to get all your ducks in a row.  There is time to prepare for events that will be taking place in the near future.  This is also a time for meditation and connecting with the part of you that directs your future and personal goals.  Because of the Neptune haze that surrounds everything,  you will have to be extra diligent.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  ” The times they are a’changing. ” This placement reinforces the goals you have set forth to accomplish or helps you dismiss them if they are too lofty.  Your friends and fellow confidants will help you distinguish the real from the utterly fantastical that you may be hanging on to.

Full Moon Eclipse on Feb. 9th, 2009

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: Uncategorized

The Full Moon Eclipse arrives on Feb. 9th, 2009 in the sign of Leo.  This Eclipse is in a fixed fire sign resolving issues with strength, determination and, possibly, a bit of drama.  This Eclipse opposes the Sun (Vitality), Chiron (Wounded healer), and Neptune (Illusion and delusion). Think about this for a moment:  a perceived wound veiled by illusion or delusion.  Not a situation that is crystal clear.  Questions abound if you choose to dig deep.  If you have any planet at 20 degrees of Leo, this will impact you.   If you have any planets at 20 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio, this will also impact you.  These are the fixed signs of the Zodiac and all are involved if you have them.  This presents a situation that is impossible to resolve without a mutual understanding from all involved.   This seems to take a while to examine and process.  What house does it fall in your chart?  This will tell you the area in which this action is taking place.  Below, I will try to delineate the most common meaning by using your rising sign as the chart of choice.  This does not work if you have interceptions.  You will need to see where 20 degrees of Leo is in your chart.

Mercury is direct as of 1/31/2009 at 21 degrees of Capricorn and you will find that you are in the process of changing your mind about things.  Look at the house that holds Capricorn for the area of concern.   As Mercury turns direct, it is in trine to transiting Saturn insuring a new plan.

Mars enters Aquarius 2/05/2009 for a nice lengthy stay and whatever  house that Aquarius rules in your  chart you can expect  a new sense of freedom, wanted or unwanted.  Mars is the disrupter, instigator, and agitator; understand his energy and move with the revelation. This expresses the energy of the last New Moon Eclipse from Jan. 26th, 2009 and again on Feb. 12th and 13th, 2009.    Mars conjuncts Jupiter on 2/16/2009 which echoes a new beginning.  Mars and Jupiter and their respective aspects usually denote a birth, but not necessarily human.  It could be the birth of an idea or creative endeavor.

Transiting Saturn is retrograde at 20 degrees of Virgo and moves to 19 degrees on 2/16/2009 ensuring that any planets at 20 degrees of Earth (Capricorn, Taurus) will benefit by its retrograde movement.  Any planets at 20 & 19 degrees of Mutable signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces) will be reactionary and require changes.

Uranus is direct at 20 of Pisces moving to 21 degrees in opposition to transiting Saturn in Virgo at 20 degrees.  This aspect reflects a change that is necessary for your growth as a person.  I remember a very good rule and I would like to pass it on to you “Whatever Uranus takes away it replaces with something better.”

Transiting Neptune is direct and is at 23 & 24 degrees of Aquarius during this month.  The Full Moon Eclipse will accent this Neptune adding either illusion or confusion to the pot.

Pluto is at 2 degrees of Capricorn all month.  If you have any planets at 2 degrees of Cardinal signs (Libra, Aries, Cancer and Capricorn), this will be an intense month for you.  Take note of what transpires this month for it will return many times in the next two years.

Please be sure to read your rising sign as it will resonate with your personal chart.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

The Full Moon Eclipse at 20 degrees of Leo takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.   Whatever houses the Full Moon Eclipse lands is where you will experience significant changes.  The conjunction of the Sun, Chiron and Neptune adds more description to the meaning of the Eclipse.  Aquarius in the 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes confirms your lofty ideals and innovative ways of approaching your goals.  The Full Moon Eclipse opposes the Sun, Chiron and Neptune from the 5th house.  There is a perception of your goals that needs to change and it may involve love affairs, children or your own creativity.  This is the exchange of intangible commodities or what we call “the good life”. This opposition tells me that you may perceive these problems with a new eye or from another perspective.   It’s your choice and you can choose the new way or hang on to the old way with clenched teeth.   Mercury is direct in your 10th house of standing in the community and you are seriously considering a new plan to make yourself feel more powerful than you feel at this time.  Mars has entered your 11th house of goals and conjuncts Jupiter on 2/16/2009 bringing about travel and important insights. Saturn in your 6th house of everyday work or health is being opposed by Uranus in the 12th house of the past.  This can be a difficult time with this aspect.  Neptune in the 11 house of goals keeps your goals and ambitions very lofty and idealistic.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon Eclipse is at 20 degrees of Leo and takes place in your 4th house of home.  Whatever houses the Full Moon Eclipse lands is where you will perceive the changes to occur.  Your 4th house has to do with personal security. You may be in the midst of arranging or rearranging things that have to do with your home and core issues.  This is a matter of personal security and the opposition to the Sun, Chiron and Neptune tells me that this may be happening to you instead of by you.   You may find that you have to make some personal sacrifices in order to keep security at an optimum level.   Mercury direct in your 9th house of philosophy continues its journey with a new plan for success in this mental house.  Jupiter is in your 10th expanding your career and standing in the community.  It conjuncts Mars on 2/16/2009 promising expansion in this area.  Saturn and Uranus are in opposition in the chart from the 11th house of goals to the 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs is asking for a review of goals.   This is the time to relinquish worn out ideas and try to accept new ones. Neptune in Aquarius at 23 degrees (part of this Full Moon Eclipse) tells me that situations are happening to you and not by you.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 3rd house of community and communication.  You will find that your immediate environment requires changes.  This can be your work place or neighbors or community.   The exclusivity of your thoughts is a detriment during this Full Moon Eclipse.  The exchange of ideas and communication is the only way to set each other free.  Communications may be restricted but you have every intention to open the doors to knowledge and release any self- inflicted limitations.  Mercury is now direct in your 8th house of partnership resources perfecting a plan to stabilize finances.  Jupiter is transiting thru your 9th house of philosophy.  It conjuncts Mars on 2/16/2009 offering insights and knowledge with the promise of the future. Saturn and Uranus are in opposition from the 10th to the 4th house expressing the need for change in this area of personal security and power.  Neptune in your 9th house opts for clarity during this period.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 2nd house of personal resources, values and love telling me that there will be changes in this area.  If you are looking at personal finances or love, you will feel the need to have more tangible possessions and the desire to share your most personal possession (yourself) with another person no matter what the cost.  Mercury is direct in your 7th house of partnership and you are reclaiming a plan to recapture your power.  Mars is transiting thru your 8th house of partnership finances causing disruptions and delays in your goals for partnership money.  Jupiter joins Mars in your 8th house promising major movement in the coming month, especially on 2/16/2009.  Saturn and Uranus are in opposition from the 9th house of philosophy to the 3rd house of communications.  This is where you are unexpectedly asked to let go of some mental process that does not serve you any more. Neptune is in your 8th house adding a bit of confusion to the pot.  Pluto is in Capricorn in your 7th house and very very important when it comes to partnerships.  Transformation is the keyword here.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 1st house of personality and recognition.  The area of change is your personal self.  You will notice that the way you look is changing and how you feel about yourself is changing.  You are taking on and establishing a new identity in order to accomplish your wish list.  You need to be validated by others as well as yourself. If you have planets in this house, the message is amplified.  Mercury is direct in your 6th house with a plan to stabilize everyday work or health.  Mars in your 7th house may cause a few disruptions but the idea of increase in this house is much desired.  Jupiter added to this 7th house soup adds up to mucho partnership opportunities on 2/16/2009.  Saturn Uranus is in opposition from the 8th house to the 2nd house of personal values and love, asking you to review your values and change them to your persona of today.  Neptune in your 7th house adds a bit of confusion and idealism to the mix.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activity, habits and subconscious drives. You will find that health issues or everyday work have given way to needed changes.  As this Full Moon Eclipse continues, there will be a review of what you need to do and why.  Making new habits jumps to the front of the list as does reevaluating the past for the energies that move you in your daily life.  This may not be much of a physical review but an emotional review.   Think of this as an integration of the present and a release of the past.  Mercury now direct in Capricorn, your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs, seems to be exacting a new plan to engage your ambition and creativity into today’s communications. Mars has entered your 6th house of everyday work and health and promises disruptions. There will be a conjunction between Mars and Jupiter on 2/16/2009 in the 6th house promising important health issues or work issues to be approached.  Saturn and Uranus are in opposition from the 7th to the 1st house and remind us that we don’t have control over all matters under the Sun. Neptune injects its confusion into 6th house matters and reminds me that it can be happening to you and not by you.  Either way, it will be better for you in the long run.  You can integrate new patterns that will be a better expression of who you are today.  Mercury will be going direct on Feb. 1st, 2009 in your 5th house of creativity, love affairs and children insuring a new direction you want to fallow.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon Eclipse takes place in your 11th house of goals and reminds us of the changes we will be making in the future.  These changes have to do with goals, hopes and wishes.  How can we keep what we have of the good life during this difficult time?  These are issues that govern intangibles like happiness, vacations and children.  Your goals may need to be changed as well as your ideas of what they mean.  Mercury is direct in your 4th house of home and core issues delineating a new plan.  Mars and Jupiter will be conjunct in your 5th house on 2/16/2009 of children, love affairs and creativity marking a distinct new movement in this area of the chart.  The possibilities are the birth of a child, of an idea or of a creative solution to a problem.  The last but best possibility is a fun vacation. Saturn and Uranus are in opposition from the 6th to the 12th house asking you to let go of old health patterns or work patterns that are not you anymore.  Neptune adds its dose of confusion just to keep things hopping.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

Full Moon at 21 degrees of Cancer

Happy New Year to all

The New Year has arrived and if January is a sample of what’s coming, hold on to your pants.  Mercury will be turning retrograde on 1/11/2009 and will not go direct until 2/2/2009. In the process it re-enters Capricorn.  Whenever Mercury changes signs during a retrograde, it brings with it a change in mind.  Also on 1/11/2009 there is the Full Moon at 21 degrees of Cancer.  We are heading into a New Moon Eclipse on 1/26/2009.  You are more than likely starting to see the tension building in some area of your life.  And now for the piece de resistance…There will be a Saturn Uranus opposition in the works from 1/30/2009 to 2/11/2009 and exact on 2/5/2009.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Try to keep this in mind as these period progresses.  Whatever leaves needs to go; whatever new (even if uncomfortable) enters, hang on for the ride.  This is happening with Uranus at 20 degrees direct in Pisces and Saturn at 20 degrees retrograde in Virgo.  Where they land in your chart will be where the action is.

Venus will be entering Pisces and romance will fill the air.  Mars is currently in Capricorn pushing for dominance in whatever house it is in. Jupiter makes its leap into Aquarius on 1/5/2009 changing the vibration to mental pursuits rather than activating plans.  Pluto is now firmly entrenched in Capricorn challenging us to re-vamp any situation that has crumpled under scrutiny and building new structures from the bottom up. I’d say we are in for quite a month.  If you have noticed, Mars conjunct Pluto produced a lot of anger, violence and war.  Let’s hope the Mercury retrograde slows it up.  As we move forward to 1/26/2009, there is a New Moon Eclipse at 6 degrees of Aquarius.  New Moon Eclipses often come in with a challenge.  This will be no different except there will be a transiting Jupiter conjunct this Eclipse.  Jupiter so close to the Eclipse point takes a very active role in the delineation.  Imagine that wherever the Eclipse falls in your chart what kind of effect would there be if you threw Jupiter in the mix? Look to the house that is ruled by Jupiter, which is Sagittarius. That house will be involved in this Eclipse as well as the idea of expansion.  We will have more on this in the next installment.

Please read your rising sign as my forecasts will be more personal to you.

Issues of this house have come to some resolution and changes are needed in this area.  The changes are unexpected; however, they manifest beneficially.  Jupiter has recently entered your 1st house and will broaden your horizons.  Just be careful that it doesn’t broaden your waistline or butt.  Travel is always a good way to use Jupiter in the 1st house.  The Mars Pluto conjunction has taken place in your 12th house of behind-the -scenes activities.   I am sure that there have been some upsets for you having to do with the past and, possibly, being impatient.  This continues during this month. Forewarned is forearmed.  Saturn has been transiting your 7th house of partnerships. This has not been easy as the whole reason Saturn is here is to redefine partnerships for you.  You may find that you are unable to continue with a partnership because of feeling oppressed or growing apart.  Uranus in Pisces in the 1st house is demanding more freedom on a daily basis.  They become exact on 2/5/2009.  Oppositions are only won by compromise.
