Fellow Star Gazers…check this out!

This election will be over soon and we will all be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Whoever gets in will have overwhelming situations to deal with.  The economy is in trouble and, by my calculations, there will changes that start in January of 2010 that will transform our values,  as well as our finances, until October of 2011.

For my astrology students: look at the chart for the U.S. and you will see that Pluto will conjunct Venus during this period.

For each of us there will be a change in our personal financial values. Questions like “Is this worth the time? Or energy?”  The operative word will be ” worth”.  You will be making decisions on worth throughout next year.  Values are changing.

I am starting to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas, my favorite holidays.  I always say it’s too much work but I must be programmed to perform Holiday Feasts.  This Thanksgiving will be a first as my daughter has gotten engaged and, hopefully, there will be a new mouth to feed at the table.  My son Anthony, his wife Robin and my granddaughters, Cassandra and Isabella, will be here and I want them to remember these special times when we are all together.  I always make a turkey but, in reality, by the time we get to the turkey, everyone is pretty full.  I still make it because it’s tradition. I was jostling ideas about some traditional Italian dishes I could make before the turkey.  I’ve always had my granddaughters over to help cook special dishes.  This year when I have them over, they will learn another Italian dish for Thanksgiving.  Mmmm-m.    So far, they have helped me make stuffed shells and lasagna.  If you have any ideas…please comment.

This month has some very interesting aspects.  The first thing I want to address is the New Moon in Scorpio.  This Moon is sensitive, intense, secretive and fixed.  It comes in with a mission.  The New Moon Eclipse back on August 1st, 2008 at 9 degrees of Leo, is in square to this New Moon, bringing many challenges from the last three months to a head.  This will be a turning point in matters associated with the challenges that appeared on that New Moon Eclipse on Aug. 1 th,  2008.  What was challenging you at that time? The challenges will in some degree, be resolved this next month.

RULE: New Moons bring in challenges and Full Moons bring in resolutions.

RULE: Squares bring in change.

RULE: Oppositions bring in endings.

I am writing with more astrological data so you can see how I came to my conclusions.  The main aspects are: the above New Moon Square the August 1st, 2008 New Moon Eclipse,  the Fixed T square that is explained in each zodiacal sig, Uranus and Saturn are in the throes of opposing each other and will be part of this months changes. Uranus in Pisces and Saturn in Virgo are both in mutable signs forecasting change from the old to the new. Usually, it is pretty explosive or unexpected.  It is and has been in orb for awhile, so you may be letting go of old, familiar and safe, for the unexpected, unusual and unfamiliar.  The words I hear most at these times are, “It’s not worth it to continue this path!”  You probably realize by now that the opposition is exact on Election Day.   In your personal lives there will be a letting go of something for more freedom. On a national level, it is the Election.  On a personal level, it takes place where Virgo and Pisces are positioned in your chart.  I have tried to make it easier for you to see the connections between the aspects.  I don’t know if I have succeeded.  You will have to let me know. Last, but not least, is Jupiter in Capricorn in Square to Mercury in Libra.

Mercury went direct on October 15th, 2008 and by October 31st it will have passed the position where it went retrograde.  This means that anything that was delayed up to that day will start to manifest after passing the 22nd degree of Libra.  Mercury will square Jupiter on the New Moon bringing in a lot of communication. I have tried to show you where it will come from.  Please comment on this style of Astrology.

This forecast should be read by your rising sign. It will be more meaningful for you.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon falls in your 8th house of partnership finances or other people’s money.  The Eclipse in August was in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs. These issues have reached a turning point for you.  Mars is forming a fixed square to the North Node and Chiron in the 11th house of goals and square the South Node in the 5th house of children, creativity, investments and love affairs.  The empty leg of this T square is Taurus, your 2nd house, and promises challenges to your personal finances and values.  Scorpio New Moon also indicates strong and deliberate moves. Saturn is in Virgo, in your 6th house of everyday work and health, and redefining them.  Saturn transiting the 6th house of everyday work will be unable to contain the stress of freedom that cries from within. The Saturn opposition Uranus has to do with breaking away from the old patterns because you are unable to continue them. Mercury will resume its travel in your 7th house of partnership and will square Jupiter signaling a communication deluge.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon falls in your 7th house of partnership.  This New Moon squares the last New Moon Eclipse of August 1st, 2008 in Leo your 4th house of home.  Your deliberate actions speak of a turning point that is about to take place that refers back to this beginning challenge.  Mars in Scorpio is square to the North Node and Chiron in your 10th house of Aquarius and the South Node in your 4th house.  The empty leg of this Fixed T square is in your 1st house of personality and movement.  Fixed squares or T squares always try to ignore the obvious.  This energy tells me that you are about to do something, even though this is not the best time for it to take place.  If you ask me, perseverance always pays off.  Saturn in your 5th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments is coming to an opposition to Uranus in your 11th house of goals.  This opposition is mutable and signals unexpected changes in these areas.  I do have to say that this aspect has the tendency to throw the baby out with the bath water.  Mercury makes a square to Jupiter from your 6th house of everyday work and health producing mega-communications

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon lands in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  This is a very stubborn New Moon.  It also forms a square aspect to the New Moon Eclipse from August 1st, 2008 that took place in your 3rd house of communication and community. This square will usher in a turning point to the issues that have been a concern for the last three months.  The Fixed T square from Mars in the 6th to Chiron and the North Node in the 9th of foreign affairs, philosophy, education and legal matters, also squares the South Node in the 3rd house of communications.  The empty leg is Taurus, your 12th house of the past, hidden matters and institutions.  The energy will flow to the 12th house and manifest as action from there.  Uranus in Pisces in the 10th house of career is being opposed by Saturn in the 4th house of home and core issues.  This may be the time for reassessment.  Think of what matters the most and not what bothers you the most.  Mercury makes a square to Jupiter from your 5th house to your 8th house of partnership finances. Money seems to be an issue.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and investments, foretelling of positive events to your ascendant but stressful events when it comes to finances.  There is a square from the New Moon of this month to the New Moon Eclipse in August 1st , 2008 in your 2nd house of personal finances.  This month will be the turning point for issues dealing with personal finances.  Mars also in your 5th house of Scorpio will square the north node and Chiron in your 8th house of partnership finances. It will also square the south node in the 2nd of finances forming a Fixed T square.  The empty leg of this fixed T square points to your 11th house of goals suggesting you will put much energy to achieving your goals. Uranus in Pisces in your 9th house of legal matters, foreign affairs, philosophy and education will be in exact opposition with Saturn in your 3rd of communication and community bringing in unexpected change.  Mercury in your 4th of home and core issues will be square to Jupiter in your 7th house of partnership and focuses your communication on partnership matters and the home.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 4th house focusing on home and core issues.  A major implication for this New Moon is that it squares the New Moon Eclipse of August 1, 2008 in your 1st house of movement and personality.  You will see the issues of that last Eclipse reach a turning point and it will not have the same power over you.  Mars in Scorpio squares Chiron and the North Node in your 7th house of partnerships and the South Node in Leo, your 1st house of  personality movement.  These aspects form a T square. The empty leg of that T square falls in your 10th house of career generating the energy flow in career matters.  Uranus in Pisces in your 8th house of partnership finances is in opposition to Saturn in Virgo in your 2nd house of personal finance and values urging you to look out for unexpected expenses.  Mercury in your 3rd house of communications and community will be square Jupiter in your 6th house of everyday work and health promoting mega-communications about these matters.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon in Scorpio takes place in your 3rd house of communication and community.  Another consideration is that it is the square to our previous New Moon Eclipse on August 1st, 2008 in Leo and your 1st house of personality and promotion.  This square usually brings about a turning point in the challenges of that Eclipse.  The Mars in Scorpio also forms a square to Chiron and the North Node in the 6th house of everyday work and health and another square to the South Node in your 12th house of the past and hidden matters.  The empty leg of this T square is the 9th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.  It gets plenty of energy from these aspects and goes directly to the 9th house.   Uranus in Pisces is in your 7th house of partnerships in opposition to Saturn in Virgo in your 1st house of personality and promotion urging you to be on the lookout for unexpected partnership dealings.  You may be changing your mind when it comes to partnerships.  Mercury in Libra, your 2nd house of personal finances and love, is square to Jupiter in the 5th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments increasing communications along those lines.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 2nd house of personal finances and values.  An important issue about this New Moon is that it squares the New Moon Eclipse of August 1st, 2008 in Leo, your 11th house of goals, bringing a turning point to the issues of the Eclipse.  There are other issues going on.  Mars is in Scorpio in your 2nd house of personal finances in square to the North Node and Chiron in the 5th house of love affairs, children, creativity and investments.  The Mars also squares the South Node in your 11th house of goals forming a fixed T square in your chart.  The empty leg of the fixed T square is the 8th house of partnership finances.  The energy will all head toward the empty leg of the fixed T square providing a lot of energy to this area of your life.  Love and money seem to be a big issue this month. Saturn in the 12th house of the past and institutions is in opposition to Uranus in the 6th house of health and everyday work injecting unexpected events to occur in these areas.  Try to keep your composure.  Mercury in your 1st house of personality and promotion squares Jupiter in the 4th of home and core issues.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and promotion.  It is in Square to the New Moon Eclipse of August 1st, 2008 in Leo, your 10th house of career , making a turning point to the issues of this last New Moon Eclipse.  Promotion and career seemed to be the issues then.  A Mars in Scorpio also forms a fixed T square to Chiron and North Node in the 4th house of home and core issues and another square to the South Node in the 10th house.  The empty leg of this fixed T square lands in your 7th house of partnerships making this an extremely energized house.  Expect partnership and/or career issues.  Uranus in Pisces, your 5th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments, is in direct opposition to Saturn in your 11th house of goals.  Unexpected reversals with 5th and 11th house matters are a sure thing. Mercury in your 12th house of the past and institutions will square Jupiter in the 3rd house of communication and community.  To say this is an active New Moon is an understatement.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past and institutions.  It  is  in a direct square to the New Moon Eclipse of August 1st, 2008 in your 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education.  This produces a turning point to the issues of the last New Moon Eclipse.  At the same time, this Mars in Scorpio is in a fixed T square that involves Chiron and North Node in the 3rd house of community and communication and another square to the South Node in the 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education.  The empty leg of this fixed T square is your 6th house of everyday work and health allowing great energy in this area.  Work or health can be an issue.  Uranus in Pisces in the 4th house of home and core issues is in opposition to Saturn in the 10th of career.  Expect the unexpected from career matters.  Mercury in your 11th house of goals is squaring Jupiter in your 2nd house of personal finance producing lots of money talk.  This is an eventful month.  Hold on to your boot straps.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 11th house of goals and is in square to the New Moon Eclipse of August 1st, 2008 in your 8th house of partnership issues allowing a turning point to those issues.  At the same time this Mars in Scorpio forms a Fixed T square to Chiron and north node in the 2nd house of personal finances and to the South Node in partnership finances.  The empty leg of this fixed T square is your 5th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments energizing the matters of this house.  There seems to be a lot going on in terms of goals and finances.  Uranus in Pisces in your 3rd house of communications is in opposition to Saturn in your 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education. Reversals are a sure thing at this time.  Mercury in your 10th house of career is in square to Jupiter in your 1st house indicating a lot of communication dealing with career and self promotion.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 10th house of career and is in square to the New Moon Eclipse of Aug. 1st, 2008 in Leo, your 7th house of partnership, producing a turning point to issues of this last 3 months.  At the same time this New Moon in Scorpio forms a fixed T square to Chiron and the north node in your 1st house of personality and promotion and another square to the south node in the 7th house of partnerships.  The empty leg of this fixed T square is Taurus in your 4th house of home and core issues.  Trust me when I say this will be personal to you because everything takes place in an angular house.  Uranus in Pisces in your 2nd house of money and values is in exact opposition to Saturn in your 8th house of partnership finances and other people’s money.  Expect reversals. Mercury in your 12th house of the past and preparation is in square to Jupiter in your 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education doing some special research and communication about the past.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education.  As the New Moon begins, you will notice that it squares the New Moon Eclipse of August 1th, 2008 in your 6th house of everyday work and health.

This should produce a turning point to the issues that were a challenge at that time.  Another aspect to visit is the Mars T square from the 9th house of Scorpio to Chiron and the north node in the 12th house of preparation along with another square to the south node in the 6th house of everyday work and health. This energy will flow into the empty leg of the fixed T square and energize that area specifically.  It’s all about communications and community, your 3rd house, and it will produce events.  Uranus in your 1st house of personality and movement is in opposition to Saturn in Virgo in your 7th house of partnerships.  Expect the unexpected in relation to these houses. Mercury in your 8th house of partnership finances is in square to Jupiter in your 11th house of goals.  There is a big push going on for you.

New Moon on September 29th, 2008 at 6 degrees of Libra

Greetings, fellow stargazers…

Loosen up friends.  Last month’s barrage of crushing situations is giving rise to the “I need a vacation syndrome”.  I feel that this little old Italian mama has been beaten to a pulp by a meatball.  I survived. How did you do?  I have many problems to solve because of last month and there are new situations that need prioritizing.  I’m sure it is the same with you.  This month the Sun is in Libra and that’s my ascendant.  This is always my favorite time of the year.  Check to see what house your Libra rules as it will be an even ride, for a change.  The Sun on my ascendant and moving thru the first house tells me that I will be more emotionally stable this month (thank God) and getting a lot of attention.  Venus enters Scorpio and love and money start to get a tad bit intense and secretive.  Mercury will be going direct on the 15th setting the

stage for a revised Mercury transit. It goes all the way back to September 3, 2008 to renew decisions.  Uranus is still retrograde all month at 19 degrees of Pisces urging you to see if you have any planets at 19 degrees in mutable (Sag, Gemini, Virgo).  If so, hang on to your socks; the unexpected is going to rock your world.  As with any New Moon, some situations arise that will need your attention.  Wherever Libra is in your chart will give you the area to focus on for answers.

This forecast should be read by your rising sign. It will be more meaningful for you.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 7th house of partnerships and dealing

with the public.  This encompasses business and/or personal partnerships.  This will form a harmonious aspect if you have planets in Aquarius and Gemini.  This New Moon is in opposition to your Sun and you may feel a bit challenged by partnerships.  Mercury is still retrograde in your 7th house of partnerships until the 15th of October and all screw ups should be on their way to being ironed out.   You are now in the outcome phase of your Saturn cycle and from the 21st of

September 2008 until the next August, you will be dealing with the same energy.  Take notes on where and when things happen.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  The challenge you will encounter will evolve from one of these areas or both.  Venus just entered your 7th house adding a bit of joyous intensity to your partnerships.  Jupiter is adding expansion to your 9th house of foreign affairs and travel and still trining your Saturn in the 5th of love affairs and creativity.  Mercury retrograde in your 6th house reviews the issues of this last month and makes adjustments.  Mercury goes direct on October 15th, 2008.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 5th house of creativity, love affairs, children and investments.  Gemini is the

house of the twins; therefore, you should be able to handle two or three challenges that arrive on the scene.  This New Moon will offer opportunity to you personally since it trines Gemini assuring you of some measure of success.  You are probably working hard and if Saturn is squaring your Sun, recognition is non-existent.  This is a period of change for you so observe your opportunities and recognize your foibles.  Change is in the air and you can feel it.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues.

Personal challenges that involve your home or family matters seem to come up for attention.  You are drawn to solve any 4th house matter quickly and emphatically as harmony at your core is not negotiable.  This may be dealing with the delays that surround home issues.  Communications may not be what you desire, but information will improve by October 15th

when Mercury goes direct.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 3rd house of communications and community, brothers and sisters.  Take a

minute to realize that Mercury is retrograde in Libra and Mercury may be the direct result of your current challenge.  This challenge may symbolize your investment in home and community.  Venus entering Scorpio will definitely add some spice to your home life.  There are contradictions in your life that leave you feeling quite uneasy.  This is momentary.  Seek your answers in your Heart Charkha and peace will follow.  Neptune in your 7th house bestows permanent rose- colored

glasses for you to see through.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 2nd house of love, finance and values.

This is all about strengthening your financial outlook.  This looks like a time to fashion a budget and try to stick to it.  Your attitude about money needs to be adjusted to accommodate recent financial directions.  Mercury retrograde developed in this 2nd house ushering in delays where finances are concerned.

Maybe it’s time to evaluate what is meaningful and correct for you at this time in your life.  Oct.15, 2008 will bring in answers and new beginnings in terms of love, money and values.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and how you

appear to the outside world.  There will be challenges that appear that make you use your innate talents to move forward.  The accent will be on you, your accomplishments and personality.   This is a great time for promotion and seeking new avenues to perform these tasks.  This is usually a time when the spotlight is on you and who you really are appears and blossoms.  Saturn still transiting your 12th house of the past and preparation allows you to dump emotional baggage before Saturn reaches the ascendant.  Mercury retrograde in your 1st house delays some personal choices in order to make sure

this is the direction you want to go.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past, preparation and

institutions.  You may be examining the past and your own feelings. This is a time when you are looking forward to moving ahead but everything seems in slow motion.  You may hear from people from the past or have visitors arriving unexpectedly.  Surprise!  This Mercury retrograde continues to retrograde in your 12th house until Oct. 15, 2008 when it

will take its continued and final journey thru Libra.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 11th house of hopes, wishes and goals.

Since it is so weaved into the Mercury retrograde, you may find that some of your goals may be delayed until Oct. 15th,

2008.  Have you asked yourself lately, “Where am I going?  What direction would be best?  What choices do I have?”  These are some of the questions you will be answering in the near future.  You have reached a pinnacle in your career and new challenges beckon you.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 10th house of career.  There seems to be something you have always wanted to

do but never found the opportune time to develop it.  You have now come to the conclusion there no time like the present to begin your career anew.  You are starting like you always start with confidence, organization and passion.  Mercury retrograde will delay some things for awhile but, ultimately, you will make your dreams come true.  Saturn in your 9th says

it’s now or never.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 9th house of legal matters, philosophy, higher education and foreign affairs.

This is very much a mental house for you and in great aspect to the New Moon.  You want to make some changes in your philosophy or plan a foreign vacation.  Now you can. Mercury retrograde will give you plenty of time to work out the kinks.  There will be a plan but it won’t come together until Oct. 15th when Mercury goes direct.  Money seems to be

looking good.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Libra New Moon takes place in your 8th house of other people’s money, sex, death and taxes.  The challenges here

seem to revolve around finances.  Your concern for finances seems paramount at this time.  There are going to be delays but this Libra New Moon announces fairness and justice. That is one part of the challenge.  The other part of this challenge is fear; fear because of the Mercury retrograde and time restraints. Tune into your heart center for personal peace.

August 30, 2008 New Moon at 7 degrees of Virgo

Posted by: marymaclean  //  Category: New Moon

Can you believe that we are having another New Moon in Virgo?

Take a minute to notice that the New Moon is in Virgo and very close to Saturn.  This is signaling a completion to our current Saturn cycle.  As Saturn moves forward after reaching 9 degrees, it will have completed a cycle that started last year.  Every degree that it conjuncts from here on is an outcome and new direction until it reaches 14 degrees.  When Saturn reaches this 14 degrees, take note because this is the exact degree it will return to on its next retrograde.  Saturn will be turning retrograde on December 31, 2008 only to emerge on May 17, 2009 at the very same 14 degrees that we are looking on September 21, 2008.  This will begin a new Saturn cycle that reaches into August of 2009.

Getting back to now, there are many astrological phenomena taking place this next month.  Saturn, already transiting Virgo, is now joined by the Sun and provides us with a sense of duty and renewed work ethic.  Mercury and Venus both step into Libra and add a lighter quality to your life.   Jupiter turns direct and trines Saturn, but it also squares Mars.  What does that mean? It means that certain projects have been on hold for awhile and, as they start to inch forward, you can receive help from people that want to support you in your current endeavors.  Pluto, the planet of transformation goes direct in the last 2 degrees of Sagittarius promising a new power position in your chart.

FYI-My forecasts should be read by your rising sign.  It will be

more significant for you.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo 8-1-2008

New Moon Eclipse August 1st, 2008 at 9 degrees of Leo..

Hello, Fellow Star Gazers…

I am very interested in this New Moon Eclipse as it conjuncts my Natal Pluto and opposes my Natal Mercury.  Sounds ominous, but after doing charts for so many years I finally came to realize that Eclipses are like forgetting to pay the light bill: it happens, the lights go out and then you straighten out the mess.  Take note that the Eclipse is in the fixed fire of Leo. This indicates that the Eclipse will be personal to you and although it is uncomfortable, you seem to work around it quite well.  I have another Eclipse article that I will put up with more technical verbiage.  This is especially for my students and the curious.  Take a minute to locate what house the Eclipse falls in your chart as this will be definitive for you.

The Eclipse is a cycle that usually lasts 6 months but, with any luck, when the New Moon squares the New Moon Eclipse, a turning point is reached.  Make sure that you are using your natal rising sign for my forecasts.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo falls in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The challenge here is steeped in the creative principal and permeates the 5th house.  You may find that affairs of children are high on your list of priorities. Vacations and investments can be in need of your attention.  The ever popular love affair may be an object of perseverance.  The 5th house can represent many things but, ultimately, it represents the intangibles in everyone’s life.  Transiting Mercury is within 3 degrees of the Eclipse and promises to add a sharp edge to intellectual endeavors.  This transiting Mercury may find you intellectually cleaning house and replacing old outworn concepts with new fresh ideas.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo falls in your 4th house of home, core issues, beginnings and endings.  The challenge in the 4th house takes place on many levels-physical, spiritual, emotional.  Your current perception of what makes you feel secure may be going under revision.  You may find yourself reaching for new ideas in the area of core issues. Leo is a fixed fire sign and signifies a personal challenge that you would love to forget.  Alas, that will be possible to a certain extent but your Taurus rising may have other ideas.  Transiting Mercury conjunct the Eclipse may lead you down a spiritual path in regards to the home or core issues allowing you to find more peace and contentment.   Take note, the 4th house is very personal.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo falls in your 3rd house of community, communications, brothers and sisters.  The personal challenge will have to do with ideas and communications.  This Eclipse is conjunct transiting Mercury enforcing this 3rd house alignment.  Short distance travel, community involvement and discussions with close family may make this a great opportunity to exchange ideas and convictions.  Take advantage of the exchange and widen your horizons.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo falls in your 2nd house of personal finances and possessions indicating that your value system may be challenged and finances may be compromised.  This is a personal matter and love can also be unresolved.  Transiting Mercury conjunct the Eclipse promises a lot of communications to be exchanged before these issues can be resolved.  Possessions and what you value are the measurements that take place in this area.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo falls in your 1st house of personality and appearance.  This is your opportunity to individualize yourself from everyone around you.  Establish who you are and have it validated by others.  With the adjunct of transiting Mercury this may seem as if you need to promote yourself and if that’s the case, by all means, this is the perfect time for self promotion.   This is a time to distinguish yourself from everyone else in the world.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 12th house.  This is the house that encompasses the past, the subconscious, our connection to the universe, and institutions.  The Leo Eclipse is fixed fire and indicates a personal challenge in this area of your chart.  Transiting Mercury is conjunct the Eclipse and promises many ideas and much communication in relation to your challenge. It is sometimes difficult to really understand the 12th house because so much of the meaning can be shrouded in old emotional veils.  Take time to see this Eclipse clearly and resolve the issues involved.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 11th house of friends, group associations and goals.  This Eclipse is fixed fire and by that signature indicates a personal challenge.  This is the area of the chart that deals with aspirations, desires and intangible pursuits.  This will offer you opportunities to advance your goals and desires in directing your attention to some floundering pursuit.  The addition of transiting Mercury to the mix only increases the opportunity to communicate your goals to others for validation.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 10th house of your standing in the community, career, and how the world views you. “How powerful are you?”  This will be a personal challenge and indicate a possible new addition to your skills or a refurbishing of your current skills.  The whole idea is personal power.  The transiting Mercury conjunct this Eclipse indicates communication will be also added to the mix.  You may be having a career malfunction or certain areas of your career need to be bolstered.  This Eclipse will be fixed fire telling me that you will try to live with this crisis and keep the status quo.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 9th house of long distance travel, philosophy, legal matters and education.   Transiting Mercury conjuncts this Eclipse and adds some interesting ideas and concepts to entice you to share your ideas with others to gain more insight.  This will be a personal challenge as Leo is fixed fire and counsels you to continue your current thoughts throughout this Eclipse until the crisis dissipates. The 9th house has always been considered a mental house seeking exchanges in ideas as a way to gain knowledge. You’re going to love this, Sag…

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 8th house of sex, death, taxes and partnership resources.  This is an important area of life that resounds around sharing with a significant other, i.e.,  partnerships, government, banks, inheritance.  Transiting Mercury conjunct the Eclipse involves communication and ideas that will make this a personal challenge.  If you can imagine being audited by the government or trying to split up community property, then you will have an idea about this Eclipse.  It’s all about Money.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 7th house of partnership or dealing with the public.  This Eclipse is in Leo, which is fixed fire, indicating that you will endure this personal challenge while trying to keep things going routinely.  Transiting Mercury conjunct the Eclipse  give us a heads up, adding communication to the current dilemma.  Partnership crises can be real and  they can leave you with the desire to run in another direction.  Take your time and try to understand the concepts of others.  You will endure because that is what you are good at.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

The New Moon Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo takes place in your 6th house of work and health.  The understanding that you currently have may change in a moments notice.  Transiting Mercury conjunct this Eclipse interjects an avenue of communication that will also be involved. This Eclipse is in constellation of Leo.  Leo is considered fixed fire and projects the possibility for change; but the change languishes in limbo.  If this is a health issue you will need to be attentive throughout the 6 month cycle.  You are at times much understated, but with this Eclipse, you will have to look super-human and very smart.

June 3rd, 2008 New Moon at 13 degrees of Gemini

Posted by: admin  //  Category: New Moon

June 3rd, 2008 New Moon at 13 degrees of Gemini
Hello fellow star gazers…are you ready for the Mercury retrograde and the New Moon at 13 degrees of Gemini?  I think all of you students need to see the setup for the Mercury retrograde this month.   Mercury went retrograde on May 26th, 2008 at 21 degrees of Gemini.  Mercury goes direct on June 19th, 2008 at 13 degrees of Gemini.  The degree of the New Moon and the direct motion of Mercury occupy the same degree.  The information it reports is simple.  Gemini is the sign of the twins and also represents communications.  The challenge of the New Moon at 13 degrees of Gemini will have everything to do with communications.   Let’s look back in May when Mercury was first at 13 degrees of Gemini.  May 12th is when Mercury first passed 13 degrees of Gemini.  What was going on for you during the period of May 12th to May 26th, 2008?  These are the issues that will be delayed and not resolved until Mercury passes the degrees of Gemini 21 degrees on July 4th, 2008.  I hope that you will look in your ephemeris and follow along with the Mercury transit.  This month another planet goes retrograde and it is Uranus.  Mark your calendar for May 27th for Uranus (the planet of freedom and the spontaneity) and review the past few months.  If you have Uranus in good aspect in your natal chart, you will love this review.  Pluto is retrograde and leaves Capricorn on June 14th, 2008 to revisit your Sagittarius energy once more.
FYI-My forecasts should be read by your rising sign.  It will be
more significant for you.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)
The New Moon is at 13 degrees of Gemini in your 3rd house of communications, brothers and sisters and community.  You are naturally assertive and are not prone to being patient so this will be a remarkably long month for you.  I say this because things will move slowly, especially, when it comes to what you want most to happen yesterday.
On the other hand, this New Moon will trine your 11th house of goals telling me that you will receive a lot of energy from this New Moon and it promises much. Neptune is retrograde and you may have unanswered questions in the back of your head.  Keep your fingers crossed and try to relax.  You will not be able to make it go away any faster by wishing.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)
The New Moon is in your 2nd house of finances, love and values.  You have set your mind to something and now all you have to do is wait.  There has been a lot of talk about what the probabilities and possibilities are and they all seem to revolve around career.  Interestingly enough, your perceptions are positive and resolute.  There may be some delays in finances but you are tenacious enough not to give up.  If this has to do with love, you are confused, but it all works out.

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)
This New Moon takes place in your 1st house of personality and action.  You will be the center of attention for awhile.  Your energy is going outward and you are trying to reposition yourself in something that expresses the real you.  This will be a testy month, but in the end, you will emerge triumphant. Mercury goes retrograde in your 1st house delaying some expectant results.  Neptune is retrograde confusing some issues that deal with your philosophy and what is possible.  Remember that old saying that the grass is always greener somewhere else.   Keep this in mind as you get your wish.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)
This New Moon takes place in your 12th house of the past and preparation. You are possibly preparing for an event with every ounce of energy you can muster.  Communications are strong and offer no answers and some delays in respect to what you are waiting for.  People from the past and situations that are hidden seem to be welling up. Neptune is retrograde in your 8th house of other people’s money and confusion can arise when it comes to expectant finances. Money can be good and, possibly thought provoking, but your perceptions are positive.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)
This New Moon takes place in Gemini at 13 degrees in your 11th house of personal goals, hopes and wishes.  This is mainly all about what you want and if you can having it your way.  Mercury is retrograde and delays that deal with your future seem imminent.  There is an optimism that is in the air that has to do with partnerships and the general public but you are still worried.  Neptune is retrograde and produces this kind of confusion.  Your goals are safe and still working in your favor.  Your stubbornness will save you.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)
This New Moon takes place in your Gemini 10th house of career ruled by the planet Mercury.  Mercury is retrograde.  Enough said. Your creative level is high and enhanced by the Neptune retrograde.  It is possible and probable that your goals seem to have taken a back seat for the time being as you have to deal with the workings of your daily life.  You are reinventing yourself and that’s not so easy.  It will all happen in time. Your anxiety level will not make it happen any more quickly.  Perfection is an ideal, not a reality.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)
This New Moon takes place in your 9th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.   This is an enticing time for you as you ponder your future.  You may have come to a delay you never expected but, alas, you will need this time to accomplish all that you want to do.  Romance is a little iffy but only because you don’t know what you want.  Neptune is retrograde and usually promises more that it can deliver.  Take heart, sweet Libra, everything happens a day at a time and you are at the beginning of a journey.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)
This New Moon takes place in your 8th house of other people’s money and promises you some positive changes at home.  Promises are wonderful; however, the reality will be delayed for a time.   Mercury is retrograde in your 8th causing these delays.  Neptune in your 4th house of home and core issues promises much, however nothing is going anywhere.  Your intuitive nature and perceptiveness will keep you going on the right track.  It’s all about slowing down and digging in.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)
This New Moon takes place in your 7th house of partnerships and general public.  This is a placement that deals directly with others.  Unexpected delays are very possible in this area but you will need the time.  Money can be difficult as a result.  Neptune is retrograde and may cause some confusion with brothers and sisters as will be the interactions that you have with neighbors, co-workers and community.   Take stock of what your position is and recalculate your destinations.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)
This New Moon takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and health.  For some of you the emphasis will be on both subjects, and for others, one will predominate.  Challenges have unexpectedly showed up that require patience and understanding when it comes to work and/or health.  How this will affect your finances is another aspect that seems a little unclear.  Neptune has gone retrograde adding a need to rethink certain areas of concern.  Mercury is retrograde adding misunderstandings to the pot.  Mix all ingredients well and bake for six weeks.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)
This New Moon takes place in your 5th house of children and creativity.  You may have noticed that communications may have lagged in dealing with these subjects or you may have noticed  that some unexpected event has triggered a delay in what you were expecting.  Mercury is retrograde asking us to reread the fine print of our lives for the last two weeks.  This will cause some delays but, ultimately, you will put the time to good use.  Neptune retrograde in your 1st house is causing you to rethink your decisions and confirm your current path.  Don’t try to do it now.  Wait a few weeks and see what the cosmos does.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)
This New Moon takes place in your 4th house of home and core issues.  Gemini in this position gives lots of leeway to you.  Your concerns may be internal but will also surface and manifest in your life, especially in your home.  Mercury goes retrograde in your 4th house and communications are a problem.   Neptune in your 12th house has been gracious enough to give you the ability to see deeper than ever before and open the doors of spirituality very wide.  Pay attention to your intuition and you will find  the answers to your long held questions.

May New Moon on May 5th, 2008 and May Full Moon on May 20th, 2008.

May New Moon on May 5th, 2008
May Full Moon on May 20th, 2008.

Hello fellow star gazers….this is a particularly important month as our plans start to come together at the New Moon and move forward toward completion in June and July.  Last September until January you put certain aspects into motion and the whole idea was to solidify some aspect of your life.  This occurred for all of us simultaneously.  The only difference for each of us individually was the area of our lives in which it occurred.  This current cycle is 2 ½ years long.  It started September 3, 2007 and directly involves the planet Saturn and the constellation Virgo.  Wherever Virgo is situated in your natal chart is the same place Saturn is transiting; thus telling me the area of your life in which this reconstruction is taking place. Saturn will be turning direct on May 3rd, 2008 releasing old restrictions and pushing us ever forward to our personal goals.  The other planets are important, but when it comes to structure, Saturn ranks #1 and is the foundation of all of my forecasts. I will be doing the New Moon in concert with the Full Moon as I will be in Chicago at the Full Moon visiting family and unable to prepare for the Full Moon properly.   This Full Moon is at 29 degrees of Scorpio ( a well-known critical degree) and the Sun at 29 degrees of Taurus, tends to make me say that you should be cautious on the 20th of May. Mercury is in Gemini and will be going retrograde on the 26th of May and it does not turn direct until June 19th, 2008. If you are a Gemini or have planets in Gemini, you will have some delays that come in on or around May 26th.

FYI-My forecasts should be read by your rising sign.  It will be
more significant for you.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)
The New Moon is at 15 degrees of Taurus in your 2nd house of values and personal intent.  Saturn is going direct as of May 3, 2008 and Mars is direct completing its transit of your 4th house. Money and values and all matters of that nature will be highlighted this month.   You have just completed the preliminary Saturn transit in your sixth house.  Saturn is starting the reconstruction of your sixth house of work and health.  It actually started in September of 07’ but life had to knead you into a more pliable piece of clay.  Starting with this New Moon you have already seen the issues of last September coming into play again, only this time you are ready to move forward.  This is all about what you value and what you will give to get what you want.  This is a game of give and take and only your soul knows your truth.  The Full Moon is at 29 degrees of Scorpio on May 20th, 2008 and certain changes will take place that facilitate your current direction.  Normally the 8th house has to do with money, other people’s money; the money you get from work or taxes or banks etc. etc.  Look for challenges to your personal income but by the end of the month money will look different.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)
This New Moon takes place in your 12th house of hidden matters and the past. You have been pursuing a new direction and you are getting impatient for career matters to materialize.  This last 6 – 9 months have found you trying to change your direction but, alas, the timing was not right. Saturn, transiting your 4th house of home and core issues, has been reconstructing your foundations and adding opportunities from the mega planet Pluto.   The Full Moon on May 20th, 2008 delivers some decisive changes to your 6th house of everyday work and/or health.  Changes in this area can mean many things but, for sure, it will involve everyday work and/or health.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)
This New Moon takes place in your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  Opportunities to express or create new goals are coming in with this moon.  Suddenly, doors start to open that had been previously closed to you or you have found a new way to achieve your goals. Saturn has been in your 3rd house of communications and immediate environment.  You are in the process of learning how to cover your butt.  This last 6-9 months you have had to communicate your beliefs over and over again.  No one got it.   Now in the coming month the path will become clear and your communications will have teeth.  The Full Moon on May 20th, 2008, takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  Watch for changes in this area to bring you closer to your truth.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)
The New Moon on May 5th, 2008, takes place in your 10th house of career and standing in the community.  Exciting and challenging news reaches you about your career and how people see you.  It seems that career matters are in the news and with this you start to hear money jingling in your pocketbook.  Saturn has spent the last 6-9 months in your 2nd house of personal finances, making sure that you are solvent.  It seems this area of your life is up for reconstruction and redefining.  There are financial opportunities opening up for you that have been in the works for awhile.  Now, finally, you will start to see a path open for you.  The Full Moon on May 20, 2008, lands in your 4th house of foundations and core issues.  You can bet on changes in the home or from the home. The 4th house also signals new beginnings and endings.  It looks good …

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)
The New Moon on May 5th, 2008, takes place in your 9th house of higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.  Have you been planning or are you planning a vacation, a class or are you knee deep in legal matters?  There are so many options for the 9th house that it is not possible to list them all.  These are the most prevalent.  Saturn entered your 1st house last September and has started you on a new 30 year journey.  The main focus is all about redefining how you appear to the outside world.  This is a time of change and focus on what we want to take with us in the next cycle. Saturn in the 12th house for the last couple of years has prompted you to let go of extraneous emotional baggage that you do not want to take with you in the next cycle. If you have planets in this 1st house, your year will be very eventful.  The Full Moon takes place on May 20th, 2008 and lands in your 3rd house of communications and community.  You will see communications change and change again with Mercury going retrograde at the end of the month.  Keep a close eye on details; check and recheck.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)
The New Moon on May 5th, 2008, takes place in your 8th house of other people’s money.  There is money in the air, other people’s money or partnership money.  This is also the house of death and regeneration.  Something may be changing right in front of your eyes, but you see it every day and never see the change. Everyone’s money is up in the air but not your personal money.  Money from others seems to be a positive issue.  Saturn has been transiting your 12th house for the last 6-9 months and you have found yourself dealing with the past and putting things in a certain perspective.  You’re getting rid of the old and getting ready for the new.  You are rediscovering how different you have become and yet you are still so much the same.  The Full Moon on May 20th lands in your 2nd house of personal finances, values and love.  It seems there are changes in your values that will be occurring at this time.    Could there also be personal financial changes?

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)
This New Moon on May 5th, 2008, takes place in your 7th house of partnerships (business or personal).  You are being challenged to step out into the world and meet the world on different terms.  Your anxiety levels may be high but your drive to succeed outshines everything.  Partnerships will be made and some will be lost but you are a driving force for many people. Saturn is currently transiting your 11th house of goals and offering you many opportunities to achieve your desires.  This is a great time to make new inroads into a new direction.  The Full Moon on May 20th, 2008, brings in changes to how you express yourself in life.  It seems to be evident that all eyes are on you.  Make sure you personify your new look.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)
This New Moon on May 5th, 2008, takes place in your 6th house of everyday work and/or health.   You may notice that this area comes with an opportunity and in order for you take advantage of this, you may have to change your current direction.  Health matters are of concern as is any current work situation.  Saturn has been transiting your 10th house of career and challenging your current position.  The last 6-9 months have finally come home to roost.  Saturn in this position has been very challenging and it required any excess energy you might have had.  Financial opportunities are all around you and yet not a dollar to spend.   The Full Moon on May 20th, 2008, takes place in your 12th house of the past and preparation.  You will see some delays but movement seems guaranteed.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)
This New Moon at 17 degrees of Taurus takes place in your 5th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  Is it possible that some situation that challenges your creativity has found its way to your door?  I hear the footsteps of toddlers stampede thru the hallways of your heart.  Saturn in your 9th house of education, legal matters and foreign affairs, has been moving you to take advantage of your strong persona.  It’s time to make a move.  Life has just offered you a way to stand out from others and take certain chances you would not have done previously.  Your life is changing easily and many things are now very available to you.  The Full Moon on May 20th, 2008, takes place in your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes.  These times they are a’ changing.   You accept the challenge and you set your goals.
