  This Full Moon is at 10 degrees of Taurus and is part of a Grand Fixed Cross.  This happens when there are four planets in fixed signs in square to each other.  If you look at the chart for the Full Moon, you will see that Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune square the Full Moon at 10 degrees of Taurus.  Mars in Leo is in square to the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio.  The Elements in Astrology are Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.  Each Element governs three constellations.

Back to this Full Moon in Taurus…this setup speaks of pressure and where-ever the FM takes place will be the area where this pressure is felt.    This is also the area that will incur changes.  Venus with her bright shining light radiates her social intensity in a grand trine to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter.  Situations of a more immediate nature are more socially oriented than usual.  You are on a precipice and you know it.  Which way to go?  How will it turn out? These are looming questions for you at this point.  Transiting Saturn is squaring Transiting Pluto and, this alone, will relieve some stress by the end of the month.

The anxieties that you feel now are because of the transitions you are about to face in the next 6 months.  Saturn is leaving Virgo and is now in Libra.  It will return to Virgo to complete some unfinished business but not until April of 2010.  You are preparing for that last transit of Saturn in Virgo to complete this cycle.  Mars in Leo is actually more important on a daily basis because it is laying the foundation for what is to come in April.   This is the true ending of Saturn in Virgo and of the promise of completion of some long held goals.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of values and personal finances.  This is the mainstay of pressure for you.  You may be looking at your personal finances and trying to maintain a modicum of sanity as finances or relationships are dark clouds that loom in the future. Your ingenuity and resourcefulness are being stretched to the maximum.   This is the reason for the pressure.   In order to grow you must reach beyond our normal limitations to grow.  Partnership issues are easy and can be romantic.  Mars is transiting your 5^th house of creativity and redefining this area to prepare you for the Saturn in Libra transit.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and how others see you.  The physical you has had some changes and continues to change as time goes on.  You are projecting new personality traits that may shock you or the people close to you.  Since all of this is taking place in your angular houses of 1^st, 4^th, 7^th and 10^th ,your everyday life is intensely affected.  Venus in your 6^th house of everyday work is claiming a victory in achieving a long held goal.  Mars in Leo in your 4^th house of home and core issues is taking on the role of headmaster and taking full control.  

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activity, the past and the subconscious.  Changes in your thinking or situations from the past seem to be the pressure that is permeating your consciousness. This can have to do with the anticipation of future changes due to some unforeseen circumstances.  Mars in Leo in your 3^rd house of communication and community is taking charge and redefining this area of your life.  Saturn entering your 5^th house tells me that your creative mind and issues that deal with children are the objects of your future concern.   Preparing for these challenges is the basis for your anxiety.  Venus in her social way has provided you with delightful thoughts and visions of the possibilities to come.   Saturn will be squaring Pluto this month and some pressures will be lifted.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 11^th house of hopes, wishes and goals.  Some issues have been solved for you but this is by no means the end of it.  It may be that you are pressured into changing some of your goals or wishes temporarily in order to overcome some pending obstacles.  Personal finances and the values that you hold so dear are demanding your full and undivided attention. Saturn entering Libra will be in a cardinal square to your ascendant and many core observations and changes will be marked for redefinition in these next 2 ½ years.  Transiting Saturn is also in a square to transiting Pluto forcing you to make the necessary changes in your life that will ensure the future.  Transiting Venus in the 4^th house makes a generous trine to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter bringing some delightful news about finances coming your way.   

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and standing in the community.  The changes in this sector are always of major concern because career is an integral part of who you are.  Changes in this area alter the way society sees you.  If you add some new skill to your list of accomplishments or if you discontinue a skill for some reason your career persona will be measured by that action.    This FM has brought you some uncompromising positions that affect almost every area of your life.  Mars transiting your 1^st house of personality has put you out in the open doing self promotion.   This is very necessary for your future endeavors.  Transiting Saturn squaring transiting Pluto adds pressure to the current situation by pushing you to accomplish certain goals that will affect you on a daily basis.  All is not bad as transiting Venus in your 3^rd house of communications and community trine transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in your 7^th house of partnerships.  This can be seen as a major celebration or a major event.    

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education.  There are changes taking place in this house that have been putting a lot of mental pressure on you.   Some emotional issues have been slowly inching into your conscious mind.  This is not something that you can deactivate as it is sparked by your own emotional past.  These issues have a way of surfacing and engaging you in your day to day life.  Awareness is your only colleague in this quest.   Transiting Saturn is in square to transiting Pluto pushing for changes in your everyday life.  Mars in your 12^th house of behind-the-scenes activities, the past, preparation and institutions will be redefining this area for you in the next 6 months.   Transiting Venus in your 2^nd house of personal finances delights you with its trine to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in your 6^th house of everyday work and health insuring some personal financial goals.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes.  Other people’s money, such as, mortgages, insurance and partnership resources, will sustain some changes during this Full Moon. The stress you have been under has to do with your personal finances, your creative ability to make things happen and your financial reality.   Money that you receive from others or partnership funds is about to change.   Transiting Saturn is squaring transiting Pluto from the 1^st house to the 4^th house, creating a tremendous pressure for you to make personal changes that will impact your home or core issues within the next month.  There does seem to be a tinkle of liberation and romantic involvement as Venus, your ascendant ruler, is trining Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in the 5^th house of love affairs.  Mars in your 11^th house is in the process of redefining your goals hopes and wishes for the next 6 months. 
 SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships. (Business or Personal) This is an interesting placement for the Full Moon as it intensifies in an angular house.  You may be involved in modifying or ending some association that has been a thorn in your side.  This is the Fixed Cross on your chart angles that makes things just a little more anxious.  Mars is transiting your 10^th house of career and redefining this area in the next 6 months.  Career is up in the air and for you this is not a comfortable reality.  Transiting Saturn in the 12^th house is squaring transiting Pluto in the 3^rd house revealing that some issues from the past need resolution thru communication and community on a conscious basis.  Venus performs her magic in the 12^th house of the past and triple trines Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in the 4^th house of home allowing you a secluded time for social  and romantic interactions.

 SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Full Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and/or health matters.  There may be some issues that have held your constant attention when it comes to your everyday work.  Changes here can seem to have an impact on your daily work.  This can also be a period of nondescript activity that leaves you constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.  Mars is transiting your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education in order to redefine your higher aspirations. This will take the next 6 months.  Transiting Saturn in your 11^th house of goals is forming a square to transiting Pluto in your 2^nd house of personal finances intensifying your goals for personal finances during this next month.  Venus in all her beauty is trining Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in your 3^rd house of communication and community.   Celebrations abound.    

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The changes in this house can be varied, however, they hold an important place in your life.  If you are dealing with creativity, this is a perfect time to reinvent yourself.  Mars in your 8^th house of partnership finances, sex, death and taxes will be performing major redefining of this house.  This means you will be looking for  new ways to make money.  Transiting Saturn is forming a square to transiting Pluto from your 10^th house of career to your 1^st house of personality making your day-to-day life an exercise in stamina.  Venus in your 10^th house seems to be showering you with abundance when it comes to money.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Full Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  Again, we see that this fixed cross is involved with the angles of your chart intensifying the pressure.  Changes seem to come from the home and, of course, your inner core.  These changes may not be easy for you as your chart has fixed signs on all the angles.  Mars is transiting your 7^th house of partnerships asking you to redefine your partnerships enabling you to move forward in your everyday life.  Pluto in your 12^th house will ask you to delve deep into the past and transform any negative belief system to something that will serve you better at this time in your life.  Transiting Saturn is forming a square to this Pluto from the 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, foreign affairs and higher education stretching your ability to become more aware on a daily basis.   Venus in her quest for beauty makes a glorious trine to Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron in your 1^st house of personality enabling you to look and be received as God’s gift to humanity. 

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon takes place in your 3rd house of communications and community. Changes in this house seem to be part of pressures that have been plaguing you in recent times.  This is difficult because they have been a part of your everyday existence and they can deal with family dilemmas.    Mars has just entered into your 6^th house of everyday work and health issues.  This area of your life will be redefined in the next 6 months.  This is necessary in order to make the transition from Saturn in Virgo to Saturn in Libra.  Transiting Saturn is in a square to transiting Pluto in your 11^th house of goals pushing you to achieve new goals within the next month.  Venus enhances your associations with people from the past and delivers an abundance of enjoyment.

This is an exceptional New Moon because it lands at 25 degrees of Libra.  What is so exceptional, you say?  Well, let me count the ways.   First, this NM is in a Cardinal sign and represents assertive mental and social energy.  Second, this is the turning point to the July 22nd, 2009 Eclipse and is exactly square the Eclipse in July. Third, Mars is about to enter Leo on the New Moon ushering in a Mars cycle that will repeat everything we do from Oct. 17^th, 2009 until December 19^th, 2009.  As Mars retrogrades, issues arise that force you to reexamine your current direction.   Mars will reach 0 degrees of Leo on Feb. 28^th, 2010 and will remain there until March 21^st, 2010.  This period of time puts you in the same position that you were in on Oct. 18, 2009 only with more knowledge and, maybe, even a slight change in direction.  Thru the years I have watched this cycle and found that you can never really put your finger on the outcome.  Just know that it will refocus issues in concert with the Saturn re-entry into Virgo on April 8^th 2010.

This New Moon trines transiting Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune encouraging your dreams of expansion. Mars is inconjunct Pluto pleading for an adjustment to take place.  Transiting Venus is squaring transiting Pluto pressuring you in terms of relationships and finances.  Although this seems like a lot to digest, the challenges that you face at this time are instrumental in achieving your desired goals.

Saturn does enter Libra at the end of the month but nothing goes any further than January 14, 2010 when Saturn turns retrograde headed for 27 degrees of Virgo and its final sojourn thru the last degrees of Virgo.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships.  There is pressure all around you.  Your 7^th house is stacked.  Career issues, energy issues, work issues, and financial issues all seem to be hitting you at once.  There are still indications that Uranus and Saturn are in orb of making your work and behind the scenes activity difficult to manage.  The most important aspect is Mars entering your 5^th house of children, creativity and recreation.   This Mars will trine your ascendant and provide you with personal energy and a new direction to follow.  If you have planets in a fire sign between the 0 and 19 degrees, this will be an awesome adventure.  These next couple of months holds the ideas and desires that you will manifest in July of 2010.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The Eclipse took place in your 3^rd house of communications and community in July of 2009.  Well, this is the turning point or change in that situation.  Since it takes place in your 6^th house of everyday work, I assume that it will involve your everyday work or this will manifest as a health issue.  You are looking at a new direction and your expectations  force you to evolve.  You are pushing hard for 9^th house issues but your biggest energy outlay with be in your 4^th house of home and core issues. The home is an outward manifestation of your inner self.  It seems that much has to be done in order for you to move forward with your plans.  January will complete this Eclipse cycle.  The energy is changing from earth to air.  That means from the practical to inceptions.  Take advantage of your creativity and continue to journal these next couple of months. 

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and recreation.  This is the turning point of the Eclipse of July 22^nd 2009 in your second house of love and finances.   There are opportunities that open up from 9^th house issues and provide you with insights for new directions.  The pressure comes to you from issues that deal with partnership finances or money from other people.  Communications and community will be the melody of the future. (Mars in Leo in 3^rd)  Watch these areas for the inspiration that comes from familiarity.  This NM trines your ascendant and 9^th house allowing you full use of your cognitive abilities.   

CANCER-(June 21-July 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  The 4^th house is representative of your home but on a deeper level, it reveals what your needs and abilities are at this time.  The Eclipse of July 22, 2009 took place in your 1^st house of personality and how people see you.  You have now reached the turning point to that specific incident and you ask yourself if this is what you want.  This is the next step in your journey to accomplishment.  Your major energy outlay will be in dealing with personal values and personal finances.  Mars entering the 2^nd house will re-define your personal values and finances in the next 6 months. The accent is love and money.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 3^rd house of communications and community.  The challenges that appear at this time are very important in your desire for specific accomplishments.  Mars entering your 1^st house of personality and how you appear to the world will be the foundation that you build on in the next 6 months.  This Mars will act as a mini-Saturn in redefining you and how you look to the world.  (I don’t just mean physically, either.)   Mars in the 1^st house indicates movement, travel, promotion and taking personal control over who and what you are.  This prelude of Mars in your 1^st house for the next 6 months prepares the way for Saturn’s re-entry into Libra, your 3^rd house of communications and community in July of 2010.  This Mars transit will definitely prepare you for the near future. 

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances, love and values.  Saturn leaving Virgo and entering Libra will definitely leave its mark on the new you.  The previous 2 ½ years have literally taken your old outworn self and refashioned you into a new updated version of yourself.  We could call it “Project Your Way.”  Now Saturn is heading into your second house of values but before any of this starts to gel, Mars will be transiting your 12^th house of behind the scenes activity and activating your past.  This could be time that you spend in preparation or contemplation.  Mars will activate this area of your life for the next 6 months.  Challenges come with the NM in the 2^nd house.  This is a major time for you to start planning for the transit of Saturn in Libra.  You know what’s coming so now you can make a plan to deal with it.

 LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 12^th house of behind the scenes activity, the past and preparation.  This is the turning point to the Eclipse of July 22, 2009 that took place in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, higher education and foreign affairs.  This is a turning point and the challenges that appear seem to put you  much closer to your desired goals.  As Mars steps into Leo, career matters will be up for redefinition and redefining.  Mars will act like a mini-Saturn and urge you to make the appropriate changes to move you forward and redefine your career.  This will be in effect for the next 6 months and prepare you for Saturn’s re-entry into Virgo in July of 2010.

 SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 11^th house of hopes, wishes and goals.   The challenges that arrive with this NM point you in a direction that is necessary for you to look at and to make some decisions on your current goals. AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, higher education and foreign affairs.  This is a turning point to the Eclipse of July 22, 2009 in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  The challenges that appear with this NM will help direct your energy to your desired goals.  The most important aspect is the Mars entrance into your 7^th house of partnerships.  This does not bode well for partnerships.  The focus will be on redefining partnerships so they will be workable during the next re-entry transit of Saturn in Libra in July of 2010.  Partnership issues take up the next 6 months.  Because this NM is in Libra, it is in trine to your Sun, Ascendant and transiting Aquarius planets.  Enjoy.
