This election will be over soon and we will all be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Whoever gets in will have overwhelming situations to deal with.  The economy is in trouble and, by my calculations, there will changes that start in January of 2010 that will transform our values,  as well as our finances, until October of 2011.

For my astrology students: look at the chart for the U.S. and you will see that Pluto will conjunct Venus during this period.

For each of us there will be a change in our personal financial values. Questions like “Is this worth the time? Or energy?”  The operative word will be ” worth”.  You will be making decisions on worth throughout next year.  Values are changing.

I am starting to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas, my favorite holidays.  I always say it’s too much work but I must be programmed to perform Holiday Feasts.  This Thanksgiving will be a first as my daughter has gotten engaged and, hopefully, there will be a new mouth to feed at the table.  My son Anthony, his wife Robin and my granddaughters, Cassandra and Isabella, will be here and I want them to remember these special times when we are all together.  I always make a turkey but, in reality, by the time we get to the turkey, everyone is pretty full.  I still make it because it’s tradition. I was jostling ideas about some traditional Italian dishes I could make before the turkey.  I’ve always had my granddaughters over to help cook special dishes.  This year when I have them over, they will learn another Italian dish for Thanksgiving.  Mmmm-m.    So far, they have helped me make stuffed shells and lasagna.  If you have any ideas…please comment.

This month has some very interesting aspects.  The first thing I want to address is the New Moon in Scorpio.  This Moon is sensitive, intense, secretive and fixed.  It comes in with a mission.  The New Moon Eclipse back on August 1^st, 2008 at 9 degrees of Leo, is in square to this New Moon, bringing many challenges from the last three months to a head.  This will be a turning point in matters associated with the challenges that appeared on that New Moon Eclipse on Aug. 1 ^th,  2008.  What was challenging you at that time? The challenges will in some degree, be resolved this next month.  

RULE: New Moons bring in challenges and Full Moons bring in resolutions.

RULE: Squares bring in change.

RULE: Oppositions bring in endings. 

I am writing with more astrological data so you can see how I came to my conclusions.  The main aspects are: the above New Moon Square the August 1^st, 2008 New Moon Eclipse,  the Fixed T square that is explained in each zodiacal sig, Uranus and Saturn are in the throes of opposing each other and will be part of this months changes. Uranus in Pisces and Saturn in Virgo are both in mutable signs forecasting change from the old to the new. Usually, it is pretty explosive or unexpected.  It is and has been in orb for awhile, so you may be letting go of old, familiar and safe, for the unexpected, unusual and unfamiliar.  The words I hear most at these times are, “It’s not worth it to continue this path!”  You probably realize by now that the opposition is exact on Election Day.   In your personal lives there will be a letting go of something for more freedom. On a national level, it is the Election.  On a personal level, it takes place where Virgo and Pisces are positioned in your chart.  I have tried to make it easier for you to see the connections between the aspects.  I don’t know if I have succeeded.  You will have to let me know. Last, but not least, is Jupiter in Capricorn in Square to Mercury in Libra. 

Mercury went direct on October 15^th, 2008 and by October 31^st it will have passed the position where it went retrograde.  This means that anything that was delayed up to that day will start to manifest after passing the 22^nd degree of Libra.  Mercury will square Jupiter on the New Moon bringing in a lot of communication. I have tried to show you where it will come from.  Please comment on this style of Astrology. 

This forecast should be read by your rising sign. It will be more meaningful for you.   

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This New Moon falls in your 8^th house of partnership finances or other people’s money.  The Eclipse in August was in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs. These issues have reached a turning point for you.  Mars is forming a fixed square to the North Node and Chiron in the 11^th house of goals and square the South Node in the 5^th house of children, creativity, investments and love affairs.  The empty leg of this T square is Taurus, your 2^nd house, and promises challenges to your personal finances and values.  Scorpio New Moon also indicates strong and deliberate moves. Saturn is in Virgo, in your 6^th house of everyday work and health, and redefining them.  Saturn transiting the 6^th house of everyday work will be unable to contain the stress of freedom that cries from within. The Saturn opposition Uranus has to do with breaking away from the old patterns because you are unable to continue them. Mercury will resume its travel in your 7^th house of partnership and will square Jupiter signaling a communication deluge.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This New Moon falls in your 7^th house of partnership.  This New Moon squares the last New Moon Eclipse of August 1^st, 2008 in Leo your 4^th house of home.  Your deliberate actions speak of a turning point that is about to take place that refers back to this beginning challenge.  Mars in Scorpio is square to the North Node and Chiron in your 10^th house of Aquarius and the South Node in your 4^th house.  The empty leg of this Fixed T square is in your 1^st house of personality and movement.  Fixed squares or T squares always try to ignore the obvious.  This energy tells me that you are about to do something, even though this is not the best time for it to take place.  If you ask me, perseverance always pays off.  Saturn in your 5^th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments is coming to an opposition to Uranus in your 11^th house of goals.  This opposition is mutable and signals unexpected changes in these areas.  I do have to say that this aspect has the tendency to throw the baby out with the bath water.  Mercury makes a square to Jupiter from your 6^th house of everyday work and health producing mega-communications

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This New Moon lands in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.  This is a very stubborn New Moon.  It also forms a square aspect to the New Moon Eclipse from August 1^st, 2008 that took place in your 3^rd house of communication and community. This square will usher in a turning point to the issues that have been a concern for the last three months.  The Fixed T square from Mars in the 6^th to Chiron and the North Node in the 9^th of foreign affairs, philosophy, education and legal matters, also squares the South Node in the 3^rd house of communications.  The empty leg is Taurus, your 12^th house of the past, hidden matters and institutions.  The energy will flow to the 12^th house and manifest as action from there.  Uranus in Pisces in the 10^th house of career is being opposed by Saturn in the 4^th house of home and core issues.  This may be the time for reassessment.  Think of what matters the most and not what bothers you the most.  Mercury makes a square to Jupiter from your 5^th house to your 8^th house of partnership finances. Money seems to be an issue.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22) 

This New Moon takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and investments, foretelling of positive events to your ascendant but stressful events when it comes to finances.  There is a square from the New Moon of this month to the New Moon Eclipse in August 1^st , 2008 in your 2^nd house of personal finances.  This month will be the turning point for issues dealing with personal finances.  Mars also in your 5^th house of Scorpio will square the north node and Chiron in your 8^th house of partnership finances. It will also square the south node in the 2^nd of finances forming a Fixed T square.  The empty leg of this fixed T square points to your 11^th house of goals suggesting you will put much energy to achieving your goals. Uranus in Pisces in your 9^th house of legal matters, foreign affairs, philosophy and education will be in exact opposition with Saturn in your 3^rd of communication and community bringing in unexpected change.  Mercury in your 4^th of home and core issues will be square to Jupiter in your 7^th house of partnership and focuses your communication on partnership matters and the home.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 4^th house focusing on home and core issues.  A major implication for this New Moon is that it squares the New Moon Eclipse of August 1, 2008 in your 1^st house of movement and personality.  You will see the issues of that last Eclipse reach a turning point and it will not have the same power over you.  Mars in Scorpio squares Chiron and the North Node in your 7^th house of partnerships and the South Node in Leo, your 1^st house of  personality movement.  These aspects form a T square. The empty leg of that T square falls in your 10^th house of career generating the energy flow in career matters.  Uranus in Pisces in your 8^th house of partnership finances is in opposition to Saturn in Virgo in your 2^nd house of personal finance and values urging you to look out for unexpected expenses.  Mercury in your 3^rd house of communications and community will be square Jupiter in your 6^th house of everyday work and health promoting mega-communications about these matters.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This New Moon in Scorpio takes place in your 3^rd house of communication and community.  Another consideration is that it is the square to our previous New Moon Eclipse on August 1^st, 2008 in Leo and your 1^st house of personality and promotion.  This square usually brings about a turning point in the challenges of that Eclipse.  The Mars in Scorpio also forms a square to Chiron and the North Node in the 6^th house of everyday work and health and another square to the South Node in your 12^th house of the past and hidden matters.  The empty leg of this T square is the 9^th house of philosophy, higher education, legal matters and foreign affairs.  It gets plenty of energy from these aspects and goes directly to the 9^th house.   Uranus in Pisces is in your 7^th house of partnerships in opposition to Saturn in Virgo in your 1^st house of personality and promotion urging you to be on the lookout for unexpected partnership dealings.  You may be changing your mind when it comes to partnerships.  Mercury in Libra, your 2^nd house of personal finances and love, is square to Jupiter in the 5^th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments increasing communications along those lines.

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and values.  An important issue about this New Moon is that it squares the New Moon Eclipse of August 1^st, 2008 in Leo, your 11^th house of goals, bringing a turning point to the issues of the Eclipse.  There are other issues going on.  Mars is in Scorpio in your 2^nd house of personal finances in square to the North Node and Chiron in the 5^th house of love affairs, children, creativity and investments.  The Mars also squares the South Node in your 11^th house of goals forming a fixed T square in your chart.  The empty leg of the fixed T square is the 8^th house of partnership finances.  The energy will all head toward the empty leg of the fixed T square providing a lot of energy to this area of your life.  Love and money seem to be a big issue this month. Saturn in the 12^th house of the past and institutions is in opposition to Uranus in the 6^th house of health and everyday work injecting unexpected events to occur in these areas.  Try to keep your composure.  Mercury in your 1^st house of personality and promotion squares Jupiter in the 4^th of home and core issues.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This New Moon takes place in your 1^st house of personality and promotion.  It is in Square to the New Moon Eclipse of August 1^st, 2008 in Leo, your 10^th house of career , making a turning point to the issues of this last New Moon Eclipse.  Promotion and career seemed to be the issues then.  A Mars in Scorpio also forms a fixed T square to Chiron and North Node in the 4^th house of home and core issues and another square to the South Node in the 10^th house.  The empty leg of this fixed T square lands in your 7^th house of partnerships making this an extremely energized house.  Expect partnership and/or career issues.  Uranus in Pisces, your 5^th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments, is in direct opposition to Saturn in your 11^th house of goals.  Unexpected reversals with 5^th and 11^th house matters are a sure thing. Mercury in your 12^th house of the past and institutions will square Jupiter in the 3^rd house of communication and community.  To say this is an active New Moon is an understatement.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This New Moon takes place in your 12^th house of the past and institutions.  It  is  in a direct square to the New Moon Eclipse of August 1^st, 2008 in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education.  This produces a turning point to the issues of the last New Moon Eclipse.  At the same time, this Mars in Scorpio is in a fixed T square that involves Chiron and North Node in the 3^rd house of community and communication and another square to the South Node in the 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education.  The empty leg of this fixed T square is your 6^th house of everyday work and health allowing great energy in this area.  Work or health can be an issue.  Uranus in Pisces in the 4^th house of home and core issues is in opposition to Saturn in the 10^th of career.  Expect the unexpected from career matters.  Mercury in your 11^th house of goals is squaring Jupiter in your 2^nd house of personal finance producing lots of money talk.  This is an eventful month.  Hold on to your boot straps. 

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 11^th house of goals and is in square to the New Moon Eclipse of August 1^st, 2008 in your 8^th house of partnership issues allowing a turning point to those issues.  At the same time this Mars in Scorpio forms a Fixed T square to Chiron and north node in the 2^nd house of personal finances and to the South Node in partnership finances.  The empty leg of this fixed T square is your 5^th house of children, creativity, love affairs and investments energizing the matters of this house.  There seems to be a lot going on in terms of goals and finances.  Uranus in Pisces in your 3^rd house of communications is in opposition to Saturn in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education. Reversals are a sure thing at this time.  Mercury in your 10^th house of career is in square to Jupiter in your 1^st house indicating a lot of communication dealing with career and self promotion. 

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This New Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career and is in square to the New Moon Eclipse of Aug. 1^st, 2008 in Leo, your 7^th house of partnership, producing a turning point to issues of this last 3 months.  At the same time this New Moon in Scorpio forms a fixed T square to Chiron and the north node in your 1^st house of personality and promotion and another square to the south node in the 7^th house of partnerships.  The empty leg of this fixed T square is Taurus in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  Trust me when I say this will be personal to you because everything takes place in an angular house.  Uranus in Pisces in your 2^nd house of money and values is in exact opposition to Saturn in your 8^th house of partnership finances and other people’s money.  Expect reversals. Mercury in your 12^th house of the past and preparation is in square to Jupiter in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education doing some special research and communication about the past.

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This New Moon takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, philosophy, foreign affairs and education.  As the New Moon begins, you will notice that it squares the New Moon Eclipse of August 1^th, 2008 in your 6^th house of everyday work and health.

This should produce a turning point to the issues that were a challenge at that time.  Another aspect to visit is the Mars T square from the 9^th house of Scorpio to Chiron and the north node in the 12^th house of preparation along with another square to the south node in the 6^th house of everyday work and health. This energy will flow into the empty leg of the fixed T square and energize that area specifically.  It’s all about communications and community, your 3^rd house, and it will produce events.  Uranus in your 1^st house of personality and movement is in opposition to Saturn in Virgo in your 7^th house of partnerships.  Expect the unexpected in relation to these houses. Mercury in your 8^th house of partnership finances is in square to Jupiter in your 11^th house of goals.  There is a big push going on for you.

Hello! Fellow Star Gazers… 

If that Mercury retrograde wasn’t the worst I can remember, I don’t know one that was.  My lips are dry and parched from counseling and trying to ease everybody’s fears.  Fear is a strange emotion; it can really get you lost in the stress of your life.  We have all been hit by the fear bug along the path of life and, usually, someone you like or love lets you know when that happens.  We get so lost in the fear we can see nothing else.  We are literally lost within ourselves looking for someone or something to hold on to or to tell us we will be o.k.  I want all of you to hear this.  You can only let go of fear if you trust in something higher than yourself or if trust in the fact that you will be o.k….  The operative word is TRUST!    You will need to connect to your heart center. Most people do this by meditation and prayer.  I don’t care how you do it, just find the inner self and connect.  Find out “who” inside you is begging for your attention. When it happens to me, I know that I have usually abandoned my inner child.  I am a real jerk if I don’t get enough time for myself.  I guess that is how this retrograde really had an effect on me.  I got lost trying to help everyone else.  The things I needed to do for myself were put on hold so that I could help others deal with their crises.  Please don’t think this is the only time it will happen, because every once in a while, without fail, we get lost in fear.  It’s human nature.  So take the nails out of your hands and feet and get down off the cross.  To err is human, to forgive is Divine.  I heard that somewhere but I don’t remember where.   That’s my precept for this Full Moon. 

By the way, this Full Moon is in Aries, a Cardinal fire sign.  This screams of movement and initiation wherever it lands in your chart.  For all intents and purposes you will make some changes.  This Cardinal T square is a funnel for energy to the sign that would make this a grand Cardinal Square and that is Cancer.  Whatever house Cancer rules will be very important in terms of motivation for this Full Moon.

Another issue is Mercury will be going direct on Oct. 15^th, 2008 and will release you from any doubt that you have had in the past month.  Also, the coming New Moon will be a square to the New Moon Eclipse in August.  Many issues that have been on your mind will definitely start to find a resolution in the coming month.

Last but not least, is the Saturn opposition Uranus that will be exact on Nov. 4^th,2008.  This ushers in a time of frustration with the old and desire for the new and exciting.  Of course, this will cause another bout of anxiety but the release will feel exciting.

ARIES-(March 21-April 19)

This Full Moon in Aries falls in your 1^st house of personality but, more importantly, it shouts out that you will be in the driver’s seat when changes are to be made.  You may feel the urge to get on with it.  Usually, this means that you have not paid attention to what you need and are now about to do something radical.  The changes do have to be made but, surely, you don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water.  Let’s be rational.  Be real with yourself and others. This will manifest positive events. Saturn is still in your 6^th house and it may be that you need to take action on a health matter or some other matter that you have neglected.  The Saturn opposition Uranus has to do with breaking away from the old patterns because you are unable to continue them.

TAURUS-(April 20-May 20)

This Full Moon in Aries falls in your 12^th house of the past, subconscious and preparation.   The only thing that is behind the scenes is the action you are taking.  This Aries Full Moon demands action and is part of a T square that involves the Full Moon in Aries, Jupiter in Capricorn and Sun in Libra.  Your Taurus rising urges against making changes but somewhere in your subconscious, you have found the need for this activity. The T square funnels all of its energy into the missing leg of the T square, which is Cancer.  Communication and community will be at the root of your actions.  Venus just entered your 7^th house adding a bit of joyous intensity to your partnerships.  Jupiter is adding expansion to your 9^th house of foreign affairs and travels and still trining your Saturn in the 5^th of love affairs and creativity.  Mercury retrograde in your 6^th house reviews the issues of this last month and makes adjustments.  Mercury goes direct on October 15^th, 2008. 

GEMINI-(May 21-June 20)

This Full Moon lands in your 11^th house of hopes, wishes and goals.  This Cardinal Square is predominately an action driven aspect.  The changes will take place in your 11^th house but you will primarily be activating a deliberate plan.  Jupiter is also active in this Cardinal square throwing caution to the wind when it comes to money.  Mercury retrograde in your 5^th house is reviewing the issues of this last month and goes direct on October 15^th, 2008 with new incentives for love affairs, children and creativity. The Saturn Uranus opposition will be very important and personal for you if you have any planets in Gemini at 18- 25 degrees.  This is a explosive release from the past.

CANCER-(June 21-July 22) 

This Full Moon takes place in your 10^th house of career telling us that changes are being called for in relation to career matters.  You may be asking, “What else can I do?” or “I need to find something that engages with me more personally.”  I would say that you are somehow going to take action on some issue that involves career.  This Cardinal Square sends its energy directly to the 1^st house of “I am going to get what I want.”   You are feeling that it is now or never.   This Mercury retrograde will be over as of October 15^th, 2008 reviewing issues of your 4^th house of home and core issues.  You will have a new direction.  The coming Saturn Uranus opposition will involve the 3^rd house of communications and community and the 9^th house of legal matters, foreign affairs, education and philosophy.  This is a letting go of old thoughts and thought patterns.

LEO-(July 23-August 22)

This Full Moon takes place in your 9^th house of legal matters, foreign affairs, philosophy and education.   The Cardinal T square involves the 9^th house, 3^rd house and 6^th house. The empty house is Cancer and this is where all the energy will be going.  You are thinking about making some changes but how to make it work for you is the question.  You will try to make peace with the past by exercising your new ideas.  This Full Moon happens to trine your ascendant so I know this will be to your liking.  The Mercury retrograde will be turning direct on October 15, 2008 and communications and community will run a lot smoother.  The coming Saturn Uranus opposition will involve your personal finances and other people’s money.   This will be important.

VIRGO-(August 23-September 22)

This Full Moon in Aries takes place in your 8^th house of sex, death and taxes.  The action takes place here but it is directed in the area of career.  Money seems to change; however, this is the vibration you did not want.  The Cardinal T square involves Jupiter, the Libra Sun and the Aries Full Moon.  All of the energy is then funneled into your 11^th house of goals, the empty leg of the T square.  This Mercury retrograde has taken place in your 2^nd house of personal finance and love.  The direct movement of Mercury on October 15, 2008 places you in another personal financial situation.  In November we will have a Saturn opposition Uranus.  This will be personal to you as it will deal with partnerships and open enemies. 

LIBRA-(September 23-October 22)

This Full Moon in Aries takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships and open enemies.  The changes that we experience are actions we need to address in order to feel better and seem to put a lot of focus on the 10^th house or career.  The Cardinal T Square configuration of the Full Moon in Aries, Jupiter in Capricorn and Sun in Libra focuses its energy on the missing leg of the T square.  The missing leg is Cancer, your 10^th house of career.  Your decisions will be based on career matters.  Mercury will be direct as of Oct. 15^th, 2008 and new directions will occupy your thoughts.  The coming Saturn Uranus opposition will fall in your 12^th house, behind the scenes, and oppose your Uranus in the 6^th house of work and health.  Watch for changes in work.

SCORPIO-(October 24-November 22)

This Full Moon in Aries takes place in your 6^th house of work and health.  It gives us an additional clue by the aspect that it makes in the chart.  The Full Moon in Aries forms a T square with Jupiter in Capricorn and the Sun in Libra.  This is potent and you will be taking action.  The leg of this T square that is open is the Cancer leg which rules your 9^th house of philosophy, legal matters, education and foreign affairs.  Matters that deal with this house will be the motivation for your Full Moon decisions.  Mercury retrograde will be over by October 15^th, 2008 and you will be able to resume your decisions of the recent past.  The retrograde has taken place in your 12^th house of past, preparations and institutions.  The Saturn Uranus opposition will involve the 11^th house of goals and the 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The goals of the past fall away and are replaced with new directions.

SAGITTARIUS-(November 22-December 21)

This Full Moon in Aries takes place in your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The important aspect of this Full Moon is the Cardinal T square of the Full Moon in Aries, Jupiter in Capricorn and Sun in Libra.  This tells me that the empty leg of this aspect is Cancer, ruler of the 8^th house.  There will be decisions made that deal with 5^th house matters but the motivation will be partnership finances or other people’s money.

Mercury will be going direct in your 11^th house allowing you to resume some issues that had to do with your goals.  Mercury will be direct on October 15, 2008.   The coming Saturn Uranus opposition will present a crisis in your 10^th house of career and 4^th house of home and core issues.

CAPRICORN-(December 22-January 19)

The Full Moon in Aries lands in your 4^th house of home and core issues.  This month the emphasis is on changes that you initiate.  Because of the Cardinal T square that is formed by this Full Moon, the motivation for your actions will be found in the empty leg of the T square.  The empty leg of this T square is Cancer and rules the 7^th house of partnerships and open enemies.  Partnerships will be the motivation for your changes.  The Mercury retrograde will be over on October 15, 2008 allowing you to resume career decisions made in the past month.  The Saturn and Uranus opposition will take place in your chart in the 9^th house of legal matters, foreign affairs, philosophy and higher education, insuring a crisis of frustration with your 3^rd house of communications and community.

AQUARIUS-(January 20-February 19)

This Full Moon in Aries takes place in your 3^rd house of communications, community, brothers and sisters.  This is very action orientated and changes will take place.  This is a mental house so how bad can it be?  It does form a Cardinal T square with Jupiter in Capricorn and Sun in Libra.  The empty leg of the T square is Cancer, your 6^th house of work and health, supplying the motivation for your changes.  The Mercury retrograde will be turning direct on October 15^th, 2008 resuming issues that deal with 9^th house matters.  The Saturn Uranus opposition will take place in your 8^th house of partnership finances and other people’s money and your own personal finances.  This will be important and usher in more freedom that you will appreciate. 

PISCES-(February 20-March 20)

This Full Moon in Aries takes place in your 2^nd house of personal finances and love. It is part of a Cardinal T square that involves Jupiter in Capricorn and the Sun in Libra.  The empty leg of this T square is Cancer which rules your 5^th house of children, creativity and love affairs.  The motivation for your changes comes from the 5^th house.  Mercury will be going direct on October 15^th, 2008 in your 8^th house of partnership finances and other people’s money resuming your discussions over money.  The Saturn Uranus opposition that will be coming takes place in your 7^th house of partnerships and 1^st house of self. You may find this a little testy.
